Be careful about Hava !
She is a clear liar, a bad-intended guest, and, she definitely did not understand the spirit of Airbnb (which is; airbnb provides "homes and houses" which let you experience the local life and routines, whereas other booking sites provide "hotels" that you simply stay)
She booked in advance, at the most crowded season, for 13 days.
Then, when she arrived, she realized that the similar houses were listed at relatively lower prices at those days (which might have been more expensive, just a market condition).
Then, we hardly realized that she set up a plan and tried to get rid of her booking with us.
Hence, she started, WITHOUT CONTACTING US, to made up some irrelevant excuses DIRECTLY to Airbnb (which we realized the underlying motive much later)
Then, she used one street dog that entered to the garden as one excuse (and this happens all the time) , and took misleading photos of the sofa OUTSIDE the HOUSE as if the dog was sitting IN the HOUSE (a huge lie , still we could not find the opportunity to correct the case on Airbnb's site, Airbnb assumed that the photos were correct, very annoying)
Then, she initiated a new lie that "she is allergic" to the dog,
She created this lie (that she is allergic to the dogs in the garden) so she should cancel the booking, because, we mentioned the cats (which live together with us IN the HOUSE, but did not mention about the street dogs (which is a reality in Dalyan;
they can occasionally enter the GARDEN with or without permission)
She also took the advantage of our guest-friendly cancellation policy (which included full refund policy to help our guests feel more comportable) and, finally, provided highly irrelevant excuses to Airbnb (such as "I would like to cancel this booking because the toilet flush has stuck", or, "I would like to cancel this booking because there was one garbage bag sitting next to garden", or, "I would like to cancel this booking because the host did not mention about this STREET dog thing of Dalyan etc.)
And, finally, she managed to cancel her booking with us.
Meanwhile, this lady, who supposedly is allergic to the dogs, failed to provide us any evidence of previous experience with dogs when we asked, any doctor report, even any indication of allergy to the dogs.
Then, quite interestingly, despite the fact that she had a local, Turkish phone SIM card (I can provide the number), she also lied to Airbnb, saying that she had costs while talking to Airbnb (supposedly through her Dutch number), and she requested some money!!
And on top of it, she and her family, landed to our premises around 11.00 - 12.00 AM, interestingly she did not realize her allergy to the dog until 19:00 the same day, and, used our facilities until 19.00, used our pool, used our towels, used the offerings for our guests, and finally, left their left overs and garbage on the table, and left the house. Interestingly, it took her 9 hours to discover her allergy to that STREET dog.
And, in fact, we already communicated to this family 5 days ago, mentioned about the cats , mentioned about that street dog that we let in and allow the dogs to shelter in the GARDEN for food and water. And, guess what, they replied "OK" (all documented).
Moreover, we contacted them over the phone over their arrival day, helped them through the phone to land our premises comportably, and, guest what, they said nothing but "OK thanks " on the phone.
Then, what we have witnessed was their lies, misleading documents, false statements, and "no-answers to our calls for a plain conversation".
Overall, they totally unreliable, definitely not trustworthy, and, they are not a kind of a family that understands and gets along with the airbnb spirit (which requires open and clear communication with the host and guest when any problem arises).
And, I will not even mention the lies, misinterpretations, tweaked and corrected statements that they provided to us, to Airbnb, and now to the public.
It is so sad, so unacceptable.
Simply avoid this family!
