The apartment is really big enough for 6 adults and could be very nice. The rooms are big, the kitchen has everything you need and the location is perfect. All in all there were quite a few problems with our stay however. The check-in was rather chaotic as the person responsible for us didn't answer his phone. I contacted Joanne who responded quickly but only after we had landed at the airport did I have an answer on how to get the keys (around 10:30 pm). You need steady nerves for this. The sofa bed had linen but no duvet covers. I complained and TWO days later, they finally brought some. It is rather disgustung to sleep under a duvet that smells like it hasn't been washed in a while - without any covers. So the first nights weren't that comfortable. The bathrooms were not completely clean, dust and hair behind the toilet, and there were some bugs on the floor at night. The bin hadn't been emptied and there were still hairs in it... And you can't sit outside because terrace and furniture are very dirty. A positive aspect: In the end we were allowed to have a late check-out so that we didn't have to store our luggage at the station.

It's probably not a review of this property itself, but for the agency called Staybeyond who is managing this flat. A day before the check-in I was told the property was not available due to the facility fault, and then 10mins after checking in to the alternative one I was informed that I had to move to another one after three nights (out of 5 nights) because the 1st flat will be in maintenance. Although I can totally understand maintenance things happen, I have some comments on how it was done... - I selected the original property for certain criteria. However, the one they offered was in an entirely different area; proximity to the airport was important, but it was in centre. I picked a quiet area, but it was extremely noisy. - The communication felt a bit confusing and blunt from time to time. Before check-in, I received an online form (without mentioning the property name) asking to enter credit card detail which looked like a fraud. Also whenever they announced the change, it sounded like I had no choice. When I explained it was causing us problems, the reply I got from them always seemed annoyed rather than apologetic. - We had to move after three days which was not ideal for us because we were planning something on that day. They said they could arrange a cab to move the flat...but we couldn't select the time as they said 9am was too early. They came to pick us up at 11am, and we had to rearrange our schedule according to their convenience. - The 1st place seemed upgrade regarding the number of the rooms, but not the quality; the bed was not very comfortable, the facility looked DYIed so one shower didn't work properly, the other didn't shower enough water. One curtain didn't go up. It looked clean-ish but looked like just a quick fix on the surface. Ok, now some good points... - The guy who came to picked us up was very, very nice person and helpful. - The 2nd place, we could go back to the area we chose initially. And the flat was indeed upgraded this time, clean, beautiful and just fantastic. This is the reason why I'm in two minds. It was a special trip for me as my parents visited me all the way from Japan. I must say though, the first three days, I was quite embarrassed whenever I explained the situation and showed the flat to them.

I got a message from Joanne 3 hours before check in that I have to move to another (URL HIDDEN) I was panicked because this is the first time I use airbnb. I have to talk with so many people to get the right information about the new apartment and how to check in.This is so ridiculous. Communication was bad with her staff.

It was located reasonably close to shops and tube stations. We had a reasonably good stay.

Nice size apartment in good area, convenient to central London, short walk to three different underground stops. Separate bathrooms is nice. Needs a few simple touches to keep maintained, lights out etc. but overall would recommend for the size, value and location. Simple check in and check out. Thanks, Joanne.

Just returned from a 8 day stay at Joanne's flat. Location is perfect.. 5-7 min walk from Paddington or Lancaster Gate stations. Hyde Park & Kensington Park is the same distance and so is Waitrose and restaurants. The LGF Flat is very spacious and each bedroom has its own bathroom and closets which is a big plus. There're 5 of us (2 small kids) so we didn't need to use the living room couches. The dining table got upgraded in the middle of our stay. Kitchen is adequately stocked. Communication with Joanne and Rusty (her property manager) was quick and check in/check out was a breeze too. 2 small things - 1) the dryer does not work too well and 2) there's no coffee maker but we worked around those. No issues with wifi once we figured out the wifi NW/pwd using the supplied Windows tablet and its always nice to have a Internet enabled TV to keep the kids occupied. Overall we had a great stay at the flat and highly recommend it.

The apartment is big and suitable for a family of 5. Great location, everything was within walking distance. Overall we had a great stay.
