We just rebuilt this totally awesome facility 18 miles from Hawaii Volcano National Park. Horseback riding, ATV park and Panaewa Zoo all within minutes. All major retailers within 20-30 minutes. Great location if you are visiting the Volcano.
Travertine tile throughout. Awesome ten foot tile shower (with double rainmaker shower heads).

Private room also available. If your space appears booked please contact us, as the shared room sleeps 6-8 and we likely have room for you.
Quiet hours after 10 pm. Those visiting on Saturdays will be issued a partial refund for the daylight portion of this day as it is the host's Sabbath. One caveat, during these hours (from dawn until dark) lights and any appliances with lights are turned off. The fridge and waterheater stays on so no worries about spoilage or cold showers but it may be best to prepare foods ahead of time or to plan on dining out. Mahalo. P.S. We love being distanced from civilization, and allowed to enjoy a "real" wilderness and hawaiin experience, but we would strongly advise a rental car (especially for younger guests). Our micro-community is wonderful, but this is a huge island, very worthy of attention and exploration. Also, one must travel over about a quarter mile of dirt road to reach us. While it can be carefully navigated with a low profile vehicle, if you have a choice, higher profile is better for many locations on the island.

My name is John.
I like vegan friendly or kosher wine and "jazz" cigars (Black & Mild).
Thanks to one of our friends, who was recently able to obtain a freshly harvested sheaf of wheat (for an ancient offering from Torah) I am no longer gluten-free. I can now have both wheat and barley again! I guess I am "catching up", but now I sometimes eat an entire loaf of French bread in one meal.
I have been acting in the capacity of an Old Testament priest for approximately 16 years, and have now been celibate for 27 years. It has been a long journey, but a few years ago, I had a dream there was a wife for me in Hawaii. I think I may know who she is. We will see.
Many unbelievable things have happened since I have been on this island and I have met many wonderful people, including the young German business man who now owns this facility. He has been a great inspiration to me and to many of the less fortunate people on this island.
Welcome to our humble abode. Please excuse our construction materials. Our new downstairs level is getting it's final touches.
Thanks to the assistance of several of our neighbors, we are in possession of some of the ashes of the 10th Red Heifer (since the time of Moses, (and apparently the first one in the last 2000 years)). The ashes are available for sprinkling (with the "water of purification") for interested and qualified persons. The offering was documented both by a producer from Naleo TV and recorded separately by a neighbor on YouTube under "10th Red Heifer".
