VIEW, LOCATION, VIEW! 2 bedroom/1 bath home on the hill. 1 block above Dolores Park on a quiet dead end Street in the center of S.F. This is a very quiet street (no through traffic) with a micro climate of sun and warm weather. Perfect for business travel & vacationing. Walking proximity to everything! The public transportation is one block away. We are a legal short term rental: S.F. Short Term Rental license # (on file in the home). We only have 5 star reviews and are proud of it!

There are 45 steps that take you up to our view. You will have the top floor of this remodeled 1909 Victorian home. The top floor is sealed off and private from the lower part. This home offers a relaxed atmosphere for city living. Relax with the heat lamp on the deck, or in the living room with the star machine on. Relax with movies (HBO or cable) on the 75 inch big screen with Bowers and Wilkins extraordinary sound bar. We only request shoes off in the living area because of the handmade rug (and please no colored drinks or red wine near the hand woven rug please).

* The home access is a self check-in process. The front gate is accessed by lockbox and key, the front house door is opened by pre designated combination, (usually the last four numbers of your cell phone). All combination codes will be sent within 24 hours of your arrival.
*Check-in and check- out times may be adjusted if possible, just ask me.
* My guests security, comfort and privacy are my top priorities.

Self Check-In: Access is fully automated with combination locks. I am always available by phone, text or Airbnb message service. I also supply tutorial videos for guests that are unfamiliar with lock boxes.

*STAIRS! There are 45 steps that take you up to our view and front door. It is worth it, but if you have leg problems or anything that would preclude you from walking up the stairs, please know this.

PARKING: Regarding parking, unfortunately it can be a challenge. Our neighbor hood has 2 hour parking Monday - Friday, 8am-8pm. It is always easy to find a space on weekdays, however you run the risk of a ticket if you park more then 2 hours and if they mark your tires with chalk (check your tires for a chalk mark if none, your ok). They don't come up to this hill often to inspect, but there is a risk. On all streets you just have to be aware of the street cleaning and parking signs. On Weekends starting at 8pm on Friday there are no parking restrictions in our neighborhood. There is a lot more competition for spaces starting on Saturday. So find a space before noon on Saturday (On sunny days people come up to our street to find parking for Doloris Park). There is also permit free parking along the Doloris park footprint. Make sure you curb your wheels to avoid a ticket. One other thing, don't leave valuables in your or anyones car. Anything left in plain site (and we mean anything) is an excuse for thieves to break your windows. For nearby parking garages, check on line.

SOME RULES: This really is our home. We love it here! Please take care of it while were gone. Here are some of the most important items to remember.
SMOKING!! No smoking in the house or near the entrance! Mindful smoking is only allowed on the far corner of the front deck. There is a commercial ashtray for our guests.
DINNING WOOD TABLE- Use coasters and table matts provided to prevent water ring damage. We love this table, please treat it kindly.
SHOES IN THE HOUSE:  Clean dry shoes are alright to wear in the house, Except, in the living room No shoes allowed on the hand made rug in the living room.
TOILET: Only toilet paper and human waste down the toilet. All other items may be deposited in the garbage can next to the toilet.
GUESTS; A maximum of 4 persons may stay over night in the house. Any additional overnight guests after 4 persons must be approved by the host and would be an additional $50/person/night (there are only two beds, however we have extra sheets for the airbed and couch).
Visitors may be allowed with our prior consent (no fee), just ask.  
PARTIES - Sorry no parties, however guests are allowed with our prior consent.
CHECK IN/OUT: Check in 3pm, Check out 12 noon. (If possible check in/check out may be modified) (For your protection we will inspect before and after the cleaning service comes to clean.)
LOCK BOX ENTRY: Return the gate key right away to the lock box if you removed it (the key should never be removed). There are additional gate keys (4) on the kitchen bar. (If you were to lose a gate key, you could always access the lock box.
KEYS: Upon your departure, leave all gate keys (a total of 4) on the kitchen counter. You may also leave one of the keys in the mailbox next to the gate (that way you don't have to come back up the stairs).
LOUD VOICES AND SOUNDS: All loud sounds and loud voices must be quiet after 10pm especially on the deck so that we don't disturb our neighbors.
ENTRY: Once you have checked in, you may come and go 24 / 7 .
FRESH AIR AND SECURITY: Please feel free to get fresh air by opening the front door or any of the other windows in the house (some of which have screens). You can leave windows open 24/7, however remember to lock vulnerable windows on the back side of the house before leaving.
SECURITY: For everyone's security, never have our address near or attached to the gate key that you carry on you.
SECURITY: When leaving the house, always use the combination to lock the front door behind you.
SECURITY: Most importantly, make sure the front gate is always closed behind you. Even though our neighborhood seems very safe, this is a big city. Incidents can and have happened in our neighborhood.
SECURITY - don't leave valuables in your or anyones car. Anything left in plain site (and we mean anything) is an excuse for thieves to break your windows. Parking can be a challenge, please ask me for recommendations.
KITCHEN:  Please don't sit on the kitchen counters. Cabinets are fragile and can be kicked if you sit on them. Also be aware; because of the “galley style" (narrow) kitchen, it is easy to trip over the dishwasher, cabinet doors, or drawers while they are open.
HOUSE MANUEL: Be sure to read ALL of the house manual when you arrive. It is on the kitchen counter.
HEAT LAMP: Feel free to use the heat lamp on the patio. Keep your face and body back when lighting! Follow instructions. TURN OFF the gas tank when you leave the deck or it will use all the gas overnight.
STR Registration - We are in full compliance and registered with the city of San Francisco as a short-term residential rental. A copy of our certificate is posted in the house and on file with Airbnb

This place is spectacular - it exceeded our expectations. A work colleague and I stated here for 3 nights. The view is actually way better than the pictures show. It is spacious, homey, well appointed and very nice! Loved the posh neighborhood and walkability to Noe Valley and The Castro. One of my favorite Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Dan is thee best Airbnb host!! Excellent, proactive, super positive communication and the house is labeled with notes and helpful information. I will absolutely book here again if it's available.

Dan's house is vey well equipped and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and feel at home. We loved the breathtaking view of the city from the living room large windows and terrasse !

This was our first airbnb experience and it was a home run. Dan's place exceeded our expectations. The apartment is very comfortable, nicely furnished, very clean and well organized. We felt safe in the house and in the neighborhood. The location is great - easy to get around the city or hang out in the Castro which has its own good vibe and plenty of places to enjoy a drink and dinner. Never mind the gorgeous views! We definitely felt at home - as if we had borrowed an old friend's place.

Dan's place was great. It's in a nice residential location, just one block from a beautiful park and walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. There's also a Whole Foods about half a mile away. Dan was a great host... his instructions about the house were very clear, and he was extremely responsive any time we needed to contact him. Thanks Dan!
