Yewdale Cottage is a picturesque stone cottage – one of the oldest in St. David’s – with beautiful views across the Cathedral and the ruined Bishop’s Palace. It sleeps 6 people. Yewdale Cottage is a family home – we have sons and dogs so welcome well- behaved children and dogs! Cleaning/towels/linen: All beds have duvets. Bed linen is included. Towels are available on request (a £6 per person charge is made for this service).

Our prices per week range from just £450 per week (£66 per night) in low season up to £995 per week (£142 per night) in the high summer months. The cottage is let on a Friday to Friday basis. We only take week-long bookings in the busy months, but we can sometimes do shorter breaks at off-peak times. Please email us for a specific quote.

We had a lovely stay at Yewdale Cottage. The cottage is comfortable and cosy so you feel at home straight away. The location of the cottage is excellent and means we could easily explore Saint Davids. The coastal path is magnificent and something not to be missed.

Yewdale cottage is lovely. We were really lucky with the weather, only one wet day all week, the rest blue sky and sunshine. We spent a lot of the time in the garden, which is so pretty and secluded, perfect for meals and lazing around. The cottage itself had such character, was clean, comfortable and so well equipped felt like home straight away. The milk and welsh cakes were such a welcome touch. The cottage also had something of the Tardis about it - it looks quite small from the outside yet all the rooms were good sizes, although two of us are tall and had to keep ducking the beams upstairs, lol. St Davids itself is like a friendly village and we loved wandering around it most evenings. We found the cathedral by surprise through the archway - a real 'wow' moment - so beautiful in its setting. We also visited Solva and more local beaches too, all lovely. We were really upset that our holiday went by so quickly and hope to return to Yewdale cottage and St Davids in the not too distant future.

Yewdale Cottage is owned by three brothers: Robert, Michael and Richard. The admin is run by a team of family members (!) but Rob's wife Ellie handles the bookings. Thank you for visiting our listing and considering staying at Yewdale Cottage for your holiday.

Our mum is from a family of vicars and farmers from around St. David’s. Because of her ancestry we really feel part of the community and know Pembrokeshire well. Yewdale cottage is very much a home and contains many objects from the family’s past. The visitors seem to like our quirky taste, which suits the cottage, one of the oldest in the city. It's a beautiful old building, but it's been updated with modern bathrooms, a new kitchen and the beds all have super-soft 300 thread-count cotton bedlinen.

All our family members (the youngest is 1 and the oldest is 72!) appreciate what Pembrokeshire has to offer – namely: walking on the cliffs, exploring beautiful bays, enjoying the freedom and the wildlife, visiting the cathedral (which is just below the cottage) and eating too much in the many excellent pubs and restaurants in and around St. David’s. The children surf and go coasteering and eat even more than we do!

We hope to welcome you to our cottage soon.
