A converted cottage at the family's farm house, perfect for a retreat from urban life. Silent, relaxing, pleasant and warming. An amazing place for bird watching, stargazing and trekking. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and history.
The farm house compound is set around the garden/yard with a palm tree at the centre. The Blue Cottage is located at the entrance. It has two accesses: to the living room and to the bedroom.

Otros aspectos destacables
There are a lot of different ways of spending your time with us.
Since this is such an isolated place it is the perfect place for relaxation. Get your reading up to date or even write down a tale or a novel maybe.
History has definitely passed through here and there are loads of reminiscent parts of it all around the area that you can visit. The information is very scarce but we can get a local to take you and tell you all about the places.
This is also an important and very good wine region. There are lots of amazing producers all around us and you may want to taste their produce.
Food is another of the region's strengths. There are really good restaurants around that we can point you to, but also you can get really nice and fresh products from local producers and cook your meals at home. We can provide you some local recipes.
To burn all of the calories of this amazing food, there are really nice walks from the farm and others around that you can do with either a simple map or if you desire so an arranged guide.
Birdwatching and stargazing are great activities to do in the region. We are located in the migratory route of cranes for example. Every year thousands of these birds come to the fields surrounding Monte da Chaminé. Eagles, vultures, storks are just some of the big birds we see around every day. As for stargazing, astronomers have mentioned the hills where we are located to be the best stargazing spot in Europe during winter time.
