It's a very quiet area and a quiet house. I do have a cat and a dog so if you do not like animals perhaps you'd better not stay here!

Newcomers to the area need to be aware that suffolk Park is 5kms south of Byron Bay - it is much quieter here, but you will need either a car to get around or you hire a pushbike (can hire 100 metres up the road) it is an easy flat 5km ride; a bus leaves into town each hour (bus stop just 200 metres away) - bus stops at 6pm (goes to 11.30 pm on Fri and Sat nights) or you can always get a taxi or UBER- but many guests just prefer to hang out around Suffolk/Broken Head and just walk everywhere.
Smoking allowed ONLY outside. No parties or loud music, prefer quiet respectful guests. If needed can accommodate a child, but prefer older than a toddler - as there are stairs that could pose a danger to very young children.
I have lived at this address for 30 years! I can advise you about great places to visit and a lot about the town. I have brought up my 3 children in this area and they often come back to stay/visit as they love staying 'on the beach'. I can't see myself leaving this area as it's so nice to be able to walk to the beach every day and take a short stroll to lovely Broken Head beach and walking tracks to other nearby beaches. It's also very handy to be able to walk to the shops/restaurants and tavern - all so close - yet it's a nice and quiet area in which to live.
