2 rooms flat (35m2) in the 13th district of Paris, close to the subway (métro) station "Maison Blanche", in the quiet and very nice area of "La butte aux Cailles".
The center of Paris is not far (15-20 mn with the metro line 7 or the tramway for other connections, or buses). You're 5 minutes walking from the Butte aux Cailles, a very cute hill with lots of typical restaurants and bistros, and if you walk the other way you'll be in 5 minutes in the chinese and vietnamese area, where you can find the best asian food in Paris.
There is a real neighborhood life around here, and you'll be happy to find a bakery, a restaurant, a bar and a little grocery store just across the street. If you like to run you'll find two parks in a running distance of 5 minutes and 10/15 minutes. The "Parc Kellerman" and "Parc Montsouris". There are of course bigger supermarkets in a walking distance of 10 minutes, there is a Monoprix one subway station away from home, but we always walk there.
The place is very warm, nice and quiet.
There is a livingroom (with a dining table where you can fit up to 4 people), a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom (with a shower, no bathtub) and a water closet. It's ideal for a couple but the sofa in the living room can be converted into a bed (not as comfy as the bed in our bedroom, but still nice) where you can fit someone. Then the flat will be a bit overcrowded as it's only 35 square meters, but if you're planning to be here only by nights, you can fit in 3 people. But if you're a couple you'll have a great time here as the flat is really optimized for two people living together.
In the kitchen you'll find a fridge with a small freezer, an electric oven (not a huge one but you can still fit a chicken in it if you're in a cooking mood), and a gas cooktop. I also have a blender, a mixer, a toaster, and a rice-cooker.
If you need to stay here for a while or even for professional reasons, we have an iron and an ironing board that you can use.
If you want to merge into the typical parisian life, you'll be happy to discover the cheap and good farmer's market around the subway station on Thursdays and Sundays (nice place to buy the typical poulet rôti, any kind of meat, charcuterie, vegies, fruits, organic or not, lots of cheeses and so on).
I also have a washing machine in the kitchen, but it's not a dryer. You'll have to hang your clothes to let them dry, on a hanger than you can put in the bedroom and fold up when you're done with it.
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to use our two beautiful marble chimneys, but we have a very good heating system.
Don't hesitate to ask me if you need more information.
