Sliding glass doors that run nearly from wall to wall make the villa’s L-shaped great room feel like an extension of the terrace. The kitchen, on the other side of the L, is fully equipped and has an inviting breakfast bar. Like the main living areas, the bedrooms are bright and stylish, with refined details like tufted headboards or graceful side chairs, plus spa-worthy bathrooms splashed with stone tile. The villa’s location in the Rethymno area is a 10-minute walk from Panormos Beach—a quieter stretch of sand perfect for a honeymoon-style stroll or splashing with the kids—and an 11-minute walk from the town of Panormos, where you can take care of shopping, explore the cobbled streets or sample the local tavernas.
