You can’t go wrong staying in Laie. Beautiful area. Geoff was great with communication and the place was spotless. The kitchen was great because everything is closed in Laie on Sundays. This house is on a fun and active street and very near shopping and lots of activities. We came out for an event and just came back to the rental to rest and it was perfect.

It’s conveniently located close to the airport. Easy check in/out. We also appreciated being able to do some laundry. Thanks Ania and John!

Our family had the most unforgettable stay at this beautiful home on the Big Island! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The house was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need — from beach towels and snorkeling gear to a fully equipped kitchen perfect for family meals. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying coffee with a view each morning was pure magic. The location was ideal — close enough to explore beaches, and local spots, yet peaceful and private enough to feel like a true retreat. Our hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great recommendations and making sure our stay was seamless. We created memories here that our family will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a home away from home in paradise, this is it! Mahalo for everything — we can’t wait to return!

I had a comfortable stay. I loved the local bread and produce in the kitchen. Avocado toast with banana and papaya was amazing sitting on the front lanai. The bed was quite relaxing with lots of soothing pillows for a perfectly restful sleep.

Sehr schöne Gegend und Umgebung. Mit den Kindern hatten wir genügend Platz, Aussen mit Pool und Garten und Innen ist es sehr gräumig. LeeAnne hat immer sehr rasch auf unsere Anliegen reagiert. Wir waren begeistert und würden wieder kommen. LeeAnne und Evan haben alles mit sehr viel Liebe gestaltet.

Good communication is the key! If you enjoy resting amidst nature’s sounds and being on the lookout for local critters with a sense of privacy, you’ll love this oasis. Sunrises from the upper deck are idyllic, with a glimpse of glittering ocean on one side and the misty hills on the other. An enjoyable walk to the water and a quick drive to town. The hosts are gracious and attentive when needed, but not intrusive. We had a great time!

Would certainly stay again. Well-located home base near Kona, close to everything but outside the main hustle and bustle. Easy checkin. A few other reviewers mentioned some loud neighbors - I experienced nothing like that. Place was just as described and perfect for my needs. Thanks!

Elisabeth et Gil sont des hôtes hyper accueillants et généreux, avec l'envie de vous connaître et de partager, sans être intrusifs pour autant, et c'est ce qui donne son caractère unique à cet hébergement. Ils m'ont "surclassés" dans le bungalow, qui ressemble aux cases antillaises que j'aime tant, et j'y étais comme dans un petit cocon. J'ai adoré le cadre en pleine nature, les nuits paisibles, le matelas incroyablement confortable, et le fait d'être sur la côte est, plus authentique, mais à deux pas du port et de la plus belle plage de l'île. Un peu moins la pluie qui n'a cessé de tomber pendant une semaine, mais pour le coup, j'ai vraiment joué de malchance... :) NB : concernant le chemin d'accès à leur propriété, il est en partie asphalté, l'autre partie (très courte) est certes parsemée de quelques nids de poule, mais franchement rien d'insurmontable avec un scooter (et encore moins avec une voiture), il y bien bien pire un peu partout sur l'île !

The air bnb was absolutely amazing. It was equipped with everything you will need to cook and the pictures don't do the view justice. It was better than we could have imagined and Amanda was very quick with answering any questions we had. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

I can't say enough about how great this place is. It's beautiful, inside and out. It's actually the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Really, everything is top-notch, down to the products Jennifer uses, the availability of laundry facilities, and the friendliness of the host. Jennifer was so accommodating, bringing us veggies and fruit from the garden, and even bringing us something we left behind to the next place we were staying in town. I was a little intimidated by the steep driveway at first, and I wouldn't recommend showing up for the first time after dark, but I quickly adapted. The place is so quiet and peaceful, and I would say the pictures on the website don't even capture how lovely it is. I would definitely stay here again if we're fortunate enough to return to the Big Island.

I am so glad to have found this wonderful poolside bungalow for my long weekend. It’s tugged away in a little corner of this island paradise in a quiet neighborhood. Self check-in was quick and easy. The room was spotless clean, very comfortable and well thought out. There is even a water cooler/dispenser by the pool which, by the way, is for my exclusive use and made the place even more special. James & Rocky were warm and welcoming without being intrusive. James came by with a very nice welcome treat and that was the last time I saw anyone during my stay, though I knew they were right there if I ever needed anything. Internet was OK when it worked but be ready for the occasional spinning icons. But then, who cares?! I was supposed to be unplugged in this perfect get-away hideout. Mahalo nui, James and Rocky.

Lou and Kami are wonderful hosts and the place is amazing. It's even better than the photos showed, and we felt right at home. Everything was clean, cute style, and designed with guests in mind. The view from the lanai was amazing no matter what type of weather, and we really enjoyed our little bird friends!! They were very responsive and kind people, and we'd love to stay there again! Make sure you check out their book of recommendations, everything in there is amazing!!

Lovely place to stay; very roomy. Very clean. Friendly hostess. Close to airport. Took me a couple tries to get electric skillet to right setting for pancakes, but that's me.

One of the best places I have stayed. My Boyfriend said the same. It was absolutely beautiful and comfortable with lovely ocean views and hearing the waves from the bedrooms and entire unit. Brad and Susan were so friendly and welcoming. Brad helped me so much with determining what to do in our short stay with great insights and took lots of time to offer suggestions and knowledge of the Island. There was all we needed for coffee and snacks to tide us over. Everything was so thoughtful and it was obvious the amount of care he put into the property. It is 25-30 minutes to Hilo, but the drive was really not too bad and honestly quite worth it. There were so many things we didn't have time to do, so I plan on returning. Thank you Brad & Susan!

We had a great stay at Ruth’s place - it was clean, quiet, and centrally located for us to explore the island. Ruth had equipped the place with everything you might need - from cooking appliances, tea and coffee, to beach towels and chairs. We had a lovely time and will plan to stay again next time we vacation in the Kona area!

The apartment was well-appointed with every amenity needed for a pleasant stay. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and secluded yet walking distance to two beautiful beaches and close to nice restaurants. Liz was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful.

Staying at Matthew and Remy’s Airbnb in Hilo was truly special. The place was peaceful, spotless, and surrounded by nature—lush flowers, palm trees, and sweet animals like a chick, and a rooster. It’s perfectly located, close to everything you might need in town. What made the stay exceptional was their kindness—especially Remy’s. She greeted us with a thoughtful, personalized guide full of recommended activities, places to visit, and great local restaurants with top menu picks. She regularly checked in to ensure we felt safe, comfortable, and happy, always with a smile and genuine care. Her presence was discreet yet incredibly supportive. They even offered to drive me to the airport without me asking, which was so generous. The property also has camera monitoring, so we always felt secure. Their warmth, attention to detail, and hospitality made us feel completely at home. I’d come back without hesitation—highly recommended!

Wonderful accommodation! Matt and Noelle are amazing hosts and the place is a very convenient walk to pahoa town. Highly recommend!

As a family of three, we found this place comf, The pool was a nice place to cool off at the end of a hot day. We loved the Lanai and grilled some steaks one night on the common area grill. The Aloha vibe was the best part with friendly staff and tropical bird sounds. Mahalo for many our stay so special!

The place was just as it was described, and did not disappoint. We appreciated the carport and private entry which provided an extra level of privacy and safety. Chris supplies a closet full of beach items for use which we didn’t use, but certainly appreciated that they were available! The private deck was our favorite part of the stay. The view was amazing and peaceful and we spent a great deal of our time enjoying some much needed R&R there.

Inna's was absolutely serene & beautiful! The place was clean & tidy! The bed was so comfortable with fresh linens & the floors were clean and free of debris. In the mornings, we enjoyed the critters and plants with our coffee. Inna checked on us during our stay & we had everything we needed. Thank you!!

Absolutely loved staying here in Kona! Was a perfect fit (especially for those with kids!). Hosts were kind and welcoming with tons of great local information to share. Definitely coming back here on our next trip out to Hawai'i!

My first impression upon entering Kaia's airbnb is that it was immaculately clean. Everything from the kitchen, to the bathroom and laundry are functioning properly. The owner is friendly and respectful of privacy as well Sitting in the deck is very peacefu with a slight breeze. It sits above Kona so the weather is much cooler. The neighborhood is quiet and a nice place to do morning walks. Yiu can also see the sunset and ocean from the studio's bedroom window.
