What an amazing cabin ! This place had it all and is exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway. Everything was immaculate and there is incredible attention to detail for all our needs. The hot tub on the river was incredible. It worked flawlessly and the ambiance of all the nature sounds and surroundings was perfect. Highly highly recommend this incredible home and hosts !

This place was amazing! My boyfriend and I loved the area and the property, we will definitely be coming back. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is so calming, and not to mention the hot tub and fire pit were amazing additions as well. You could see the stars so perfectly out there. This place is perfect for those that like the peace of the mountains. Ashley was a great host who was quick at responding and making sure we were set up for success prior to our stay. You won't regret booking at this beautiful place!

We didn’t have a lot of time to stay but it was definitely worth it! Rose was very helpful and responsive throughout. The space was clean and neat, we felt so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of space. The hot tub and outdoor area was very nice and made for a peaceful area to unwind for the evening. Would definitely stay again!

Casita del sol was a wonderful place to stay. The home was impeccably clean and included many games and activities inside and out. Some of our favorites included air hockey, ping pong, bop it, jigsaw puzzles, connect 4, and jenga. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub to start the day, grabbing breakfast at local coffee shops, and walking the kayaks to the lake for a mid-day adventure. The hosts were thorough and thoughtful. They made sure the home had all the essentials, but also wonderful touches like extra toothbrushes, snacks, and homemade treats for humans and fur-babies! The guidebook and binder of manuals were organized and easy to follow. Tastefully placed notes throughout the home clearly communicated details like where to find extra trash bags. We are so glad we stayed at Casita del sol and hope to stay there again Im the future!

This cabin was beautiful, the hot tub was so nice, fire pit and pool were all beautiful. This is such a beautiful place! The hosts left clear instructions, were responsive, wished us a safe drive home! It was so worth it! We loved our stay here!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Home was exactly what we were looking for with our selection. Peaceful area with hiking near the home in the Taylorsville State Park.

Everything was just as advertised. Cabin is well stocked. Area was quiet as we had hoped for. Hot Tub is a nice added feature.

Absolutely loved our stay at this serene getaway cabin! The setting is peaceful and private—perfect for unwinding after a busy week. The hot tub was a highlight, especially the creek flowing was super soothing, and the cabin itself was clean and cozy. One of the best parts was how close it was to town & just a quick drive to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions, yet it still felt like a true escape. We appreciated the host’s clear communication and warm hospitality. Best record collection of any stay anywhere :-)

Great place to stay! My husband and I had such a peaceful and relaxing time. The cottage felt very cozy. I had some trouble checking in because I'm not used to AirBnB, but the host was very helpful and responsive. Checkout was easy as well! We hope to come back soon!!

Our entire family had a blast. The host thought of everything from proper amount of silverware to complementary coffee. The kids loved the creek and woods. Plenty of space. Game room wonderful. Location was great close to waterfalls and downtown Helen. We will definitely be back.

Nestled in the tranquil riverside landscape of southern Maryland, just beside the southern Chesapeake Bay, this home is a hidden gem—truly extraordinary in every sense. If you're seeking a brief escape from the bustling energy of Washington D.C. or Baltimore, this haven offers the perfect retreat. We were two families with four children—two young adults heading to college and two spirited middle schoolers—and every one of us, regardless of age, found joy and peace here. From the breathtaking natural surroundings to the simple pleasure of kayaking through calm waters, each moment felt like a gentle reset for the soul. What truly elevated the experience was our host, Shawn. More than just a “super host,” she embodied hospitality in its finest form. Her attention to detail, her care for comfort, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home surpassed even the details of a Hollywood studio setting !

Overall, we had a great stay. Having a gated deck was great with dogs. Beach access was awesome! Parking was clearly labeled and easy to park at. Laundry facility, outdoor shower, and grill were very convenient. The location was quiet (mid-April) given how close the cottages are to a lot of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Whitney was very responsive and helpful!

This was a great place to stay and was exactly what we expected. The house is set in a residential neighborhood, but felt private. Definitely have to drive to get to the beaches, but it was not far (maybe 10 minutes, more during the busy season, I'm sure). Everything was clean. Check in was simple and easy. They do not bug you, and since everything was simple, I had no reason to contact them. Dog friendly, but so clean you wouldn't know. Fenced in back yard was perfect for your dog. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating area - although, 7 adults might be pretty cramped. Maybe 2 families max. Will definitely stay here again.

The Cottage was the perfect home base for a fun weekend exploring Asheville. The bath was lovely and everything was nice and clean and comfortable.

Really lovely space! Enjoyed all the details, clearly a place the host to care to create and appoint for guests, including the dog:) We loved our stay!

Christi and her family were the best hosts. We have stayed in several Airbnbs, and this has surpassed any of ours stays. The family gave you privacy, but made it fully aware that if you needed them they would be close by. There were many family friendly games available (which we loved), plenty of farm animals to watch, every amenity we could think of, the air cooled well, the shower had amazing water pressure/heat, and so much more! We added on the farm tour, which was perfect. We even got to bottle feed a cow! Christi was extremely easy to talk to, and her kids were very kind and welcoming as well! (We hate we missed you, Justin!) We fully plan on coming back (and know we can pack much lighter next time. Seriously everything you need is there!)

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! I felt right at home from the time i wlked through the door. It had a gorgeous back deck to have my coffee in the morning. Will definitely stay again.

Such a cute place, loved it and host was amazing!!

Kelly’s place is quiet and private. The scenic view is just gorgeous. We got to experience it on a sunny clear day and on a rainy sightly foggy one and neither disappointed. Just some things to keep in mind. The driveway is at a slightly sharp turn when you’re coming from the direction of the bridge/overpass. The walkway is a little steep but has great traction so it’s not easy to slip on. The house has the essentials. The beds were comfy and the temperature in the house adjusts quickly to whatever you set it to. The porch view is really pretty and peaceful. Perfect to sit out there and enjoy your morning coffee. Overall a great stay.

Jessica was very responsive and helpful. regarding questions I had about booking the cabin. The cabin is very modern and the outdoor patio is absolutely wonderful! if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this place is for you! Highly recommend and will definitely be staying again.

We always come back to Robert’s place when in Hendo. It is located in the top of a small hill, just a few miles from downtown. Completely peaceful and safe. Beautiful woods to enjoy on the back deck. Everything is quality. Be aware that it is cozy and smaller, just right for just my hubby and me. Internet is fast, youtubeTV was nice to have. We look forward to coming back.

An accommodation well-suited to our needs as an older couple. All on one floor, an attractive, large single room that included a queen bed, an ample closet, an office nook, a mini- kitchen and generous sized bathroom with shower. Parking is close to front door and opportunities for off-street walking behind the property. Would book again if we were in the area for sight-seeing. Friendly hosts in a separate dwelling on same property. While it is close to the street it is not a heavily traveled highway and it’s situated in beautiful country!

This property was perfect for our stay while visiting family in the area! Cute, clean and very private and peaceful. Had quality linens and everything you could need while away from home. The Wifi was extremely fast and the signal was strong as I needed to work while visiting! We appreciated the welcome snack and all of the attention to detail they put into making this place a comfortable stay. We would recommend and stay again if available when we visit the area.
