Had a lovely 3-night stay at The Fern. The cottage has everything you need and fun extras that Nigel and Laura have clearly put a lot of thought into, both for us humans and our pup! Perfect place to bring your doggo to, our pup had the best time exploring the rest of the farm. Garden at the cottage is perfect to let them wander too. Short 20-minute walk to a local riverside pub and a 10-minute drive to main shops at Newark. Will definitely be coming back to the Fern!

This is a great base to explore Lincoln, Newark and Sherwood Forest. Lots of walks and history in the area. Philip recommended 2 great pubs, Prince Rupert in Newark and Hare & Hounds in Fulbeck. We also really enjoyed the Alpacca Farm and Doddington House. Philip lives close by and came to greet us on arrival. He is very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was great and accommodation very clean.

Beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. The large private garden was perfect for my dog and the hot tub added a hint of luxury to our stay. Really enjoyed our time here and will be returning in the future.

Blossom Farm is ideal for our family get togethers, location is spot on, very well equipped with do much attention to detail! Salford Warren is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a good place to walk the dog!

Another fantastic easy stay at Kirsty’s cottage. I was competing at Arena UK and our 3.5tn lorry fits in the car park. Great location and only a few minutes back to the venue. Cottage warm and tidy with nice touches. Hopefully be back again next year!

What a lovely lady! Jane was welcoming and helpful. The Annexe is lovely and felt like home from home. The surroundings are beautiful and her dogs are great. Henry is a scream. Highly recommend this beautiful little slice of heaven

sehr schönes Cottage mit steiler Treppe ins Schlafzimmer aber gut machbar ( Teppich und daher nicht rutschig) sehr schöne Küche und Möbel. kleiner eingezäunter Garten war Ideal für die Hunde. Die Kommunikation war einwandfrei. die Google Maps Angaben haben nicht gestimmt. Daher konnten wir es zunächst nicht finden aber nach einem Anruf beim Vermieter, kam sofort jemand raus, der uns zum Cottage gebracht hat. Wir hatten einen sehr guten Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder. 100% empfehlenswert und super auch ein großea Einkaufszentrum nur ein paar Meilen entfernt ist. Ebenso der Sherwood Forest und Creswell Crags sind einen Besuch wert.

The coffin makers cottage was beautifully presented, super clean and just what we were looking for. Warm and cosy with all required amenities. We felt right at home. Would highly recommend.

Katherine made us feel so welcome, and was at hand to help with any questions we had. The Hideaway was the perfect base for us to go and visit friends who lived nearby.

We stayed in a dog friendly cottage. Despite being near a busy road, it was so quiet. Tiles or wooden floors throughout, with covers over the furniture. This is excellent for dogs. Older dogs may struggle with the stairs as they are steep. The cottage was cozy and spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable. We are now looking at reasons to go back to Newark so we can stay there again! Highly recommended.

From our initial chat to meeting Rebecca and Stuart in person, they were the consummate hosts, making us feel warmly welcomed. The accommodation was beautifully appointed, with no detail overlooked. Upon arrival, we were greeted with thoughtful touches like milk, bread, and snacks awaiting us. This charming two-bedroom cottage was an absolute delight to stay in. The only downside was the cold weather—but this is England, after all!

Brilliant communication and quick to answer any questions. The accommodation was really cute and well done. Lovely toiletries and other emergency bits to hand. Anna and Ian have thought of everything.

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything is high quality. Spotlessly clean. Nothing too much trouble. Our two border collies made themselves at home. Every need catered for. Neighbours we met also really nice. We would definitely recommend and return ourselves. As a fussy person I’ve not worried about anything in this beautiful cottage. It’s safe, secure, smells lovely. Bedding lovely. Furniture really comfy. I could actually live here . Thank you Gary and Kate you have been the kindest nicest of hosts . Loved the dog welcomes too. Madeleine and David. Lovely stay in Nottinghamshire. Very quiet, secluded place to stay with easy access to Leicester, Nottingham and all the countryside around there!

Highly recommend John's place. Spotlessly clean with everything you need from crockery pans and cooking utensils to fresh bread and milk in the fridge. Spacious house with a lovely garden and outdoor seating area. Comfy beds. All in all we were extremely impressed and would definitely stay again.

Jaynes place is one of endless character and homeliness, made so by her care and attention to those small details. Positioned in glorious peace and solitude yet 10-15 mins from Newark and Southwell, it is just the ticket! Having stayed here previously, it is safe to say this most recent visit will not be my last.

The property is beautifully finished and clean - Jayne was brilliant at communicating and answering any questions prior to arrival especially clarifying location and parking. She was on hand to make sure we were settled in and everything was ok with our stay. Would definitely recommend this property for future stays 😊
