Zen Haven Farm Dog Paradise! A True Zen Escape!

We could not have found a better place to stay while having renovations done at our own home. We packed up our gaggle of golden retrievers and one beagle and felt welcomed the moment we stepped into the house. There were treats for the dogs, blankets to put on the couch, verrrry comfortable twin-sized memory foam dog beds and endless amounts of toys for our pups to enjoy. There was also a treat station as well as lickit mats and doggie painting to keep these retrievers happy and busy. This house is so dog friendly. It’s a perfect balance of a beautiful home for the humans that is also perfect for the dogs. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen large and well-stocked with necessities, such as paper towels, dish soap, dishes, pots and pans and that stove…. Beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and cozy. If the dogs hadn’t wanted to get up so early, we may have slept part of the day away. Having the availability to do laundry was also very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Frank went above and beyond to communicate check-in instructions, rules of the Air BnB, had all the thoughtful amenities for a slumbo! Definitely an ideal location for nicer weather with the location! Unfortunately the weather hindered the ability to fully enjoy this experience with the water so close! Would book again with better weather!!!

Tyler’s lake house is stunning, and we had a wonderful experience! The vibe was incredibly peaceful & calming, with breathtaking views of the water and mountain that made every morning feel like a retreat. Neighborhood was quiet and I felt very safe. Westminster is a hidden gem. I really love this area, perfect for unwinding and escaping the hustle and bustle. Check-in was a breeze, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. One of my favorite parts was seeing how relaxed my dogs were in the backyard under the lights by the water. They loved it! It was the perfect spot for them to enjoy the outdoors while our family soaked in the tranquility. The king bed is appreciated! I can only imagine how wonderful this place is during the summer. If ur looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful surroundings and a welcoming atmosphere, this lake house is the place to be. Plus the host is great! He checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and we were. 😃Thanks again!

Although we went in winter weather, Alicia’s cabin was super charming & cozy, loved the bannana bread she left for us. thoughtful bathroom amenities, love the clawfoot bath.The thoughtful cozy lighting thru out the house. , even a poetry book near bedside bureau. Alecia has a charming decor style ,I wanted to stay longer, but we had to get back , so we only stayed 2 days .May all who go find rest & peace . God bless🌺

We had an absolute blast on our girls getaway weekend!! The cottage and community were amazing, exactly what we were hoping for and Doug couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He was always available by text or phone. The cottage was clean, nicely equipped, and a great location!! We will definitely be renting this cottage again on our next trip!!! Thanks for having us... we loved every minute!! 🧙🧙🧙

If you are looking for an idyllic lake house experience, this is it! We could have spent our entire trip just sitting on the porches—upstairs, downstairs, one screened-in porch, and the lovely dock. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat multiple times. The house was perfect for us because we are a close family of three, but if you need privacy from other guests, this wouldn’t be the ideal house as one bedroom opens into the other. The beds are soft and comfortable as is the sofa. Paula and Tim were extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely return to this house. It was difficult to leave the gorgeous leaves.

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Location! Location! Location! Immaculate inside and out, we had the best time ( even though it rained all weekend)! Just feet away from the river..canoeing was fun! Plenty of hiking in the area. We felt right at home. The host supplied wood for the woodstove/firepit and a large cooler with ice! Beds were comfy...very private and peaceful. The open air toilet was great too Celie is very responsive and thoughtful...we are already planning another stay..Thanks!

Hidden Gem: Amazing lake house + all the amenities

My friends and I are photographers who make an annual fall getaway. Mike's place was beyond what we hoped for! It started with great communication--Mike answered any and all questions very quickly and offered additional suggestions of places to go and things to do. The house was located way off the beaten path on a very private road, right on a large pond. The scenery was gorgeous and we didn't really even have to leave the property to find beauty! We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch with it's fire table in the evening! Hopkinton is a beautiful small town that we enjoyed exploring! We hated to leave, but all of us look forward to booking this amazing place again very soon!

You walk into Eric’s place and it feels like a home thoughtfully set up so that you can just walk in and be comfortable. It’s an “and, breathe” kind of relaxing, homey place. Eric was super responsive to any & all questions we had. We absolutely loved our time there and look forward to rebooking in the future!

Tranquil Family Friendly Lakefront Retreat

The house worked extremely well for our family. We all had breakfast together and that was great. Having everyone stay together was great given the variety of bedrooms and bathrooms. I learned not to be the last one taking a shower as some used the hot water before me. We did not have the opportunity to use the lake or surroundings as we had a funeral to attend, but seeing the lake while eating breakfast was beautiful with the sun shining on the lake. We saved a lot of money versus 4 motel rooms for 2 nights.

Phil’s place was a great choice for the weekend! Plenty of room for the amount of people we had. Beautiful property right on the water. Spacious living room to hang out in. Everything was clean and tidy. There are also restaurants and things to do nearby! Would recommend.

The location was great! Beautiful water views. The pictures in the listing were unclear that the place I was renting was the small house in the middle. It would be great for 1-2 people, but was small for 3-4. It was fine for a quick trip, but would have been cramped for a longer stay. Loved the electric fireplace! A very nice touch!

Amazing Views, Skiing Nearby and Amenities Galore!

We absolutely loved our stay at Barbara’s home! It was spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and 1 child with no issue. The kitchen is well appointed, allowing us to cook meals throughout our stay. We had a small storm roll through, which dropped 5” of snow overnight (great for our next day on the mountain!), and we were thrilled to see that the driveway and walkway had been cleared prior to 7am. The bedrooms were comfortable and the view from the great room is truly stunning. Would love to stay here again! Thank you, Barbara!

the place was even better than the photos show. everything looked brand new. the bathroom was great with heated floors and nice shower. stocked with nice towels. w/d. kitchen was fully stocked with supplies. nice open space with plenty of room to be comfortable. nice TV with app access. garage for one and outside for another. Angela was very communicative and helpful. cost was reasonable compared to area and looked better than others. highly recommend.

The Wellington House

We had a wonderful stay at Sharon's place! During the winter the location was picturesque with the view of the horses and pond in the snow. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals during my stay. Sharon was a great host—she was very accommodating and proactive and made sure I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend staying here!

The Cabin at Lake Sunapee

The cabin was beautiful, spacious and clean. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and candies, Deb even thought of our little furry friends and left dog treats. We loved everything about it, the deck, enclosed porch, fireplace and very well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed hiking and going to the local brewery. Deb was easy to communicate with and one of the best host we have had. We hope to return next fall. Thanks again Deb for being such a great host.

The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. There were plenty of spots to gather, catch up with friends, and enjoy our stay at the lake front property. We love family style meals, and Lauren's kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Couches and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless! The view of the lake is gorgeous, and every space in the house is decorated so nicely. Although we visited on the first day of spring, and it was a little too chilly for us to swim, our pup loved going for a polar plunge! Lauren was a very responsive host, who gave clear instructions on how to access the property, and was happy to answer any questions we had. Thank you Geurtsen family for sharing your space with us and being such lovely hosts.

Myself and 2 daughters loved staying at Rob's house. We went for skiing and it's very convenient to get to the local ski hills. There was plenty of space for the three of us; it was clean, cozy warm and very comfortable. Rob is very personable and responsive; loved chatting with him! We will be going back again this year if we get the chance at another ski weekend. His place is also in a prime spot for summer, something we'll consider if we decide not to do tent camping. Overall 5 stars for us.

This is the second year we stayed at Paradise on the Pond, a great spot to access both Pat's Peak and Crotched Mountain Ski resorts. Cynthia was very accommodating of some changes in our schedule due to my upcoming surgery and she provided an extra very comfy blow up bed for a 3rd guest. Thank you Cynthia! We loved the home. Perfect for our ski vacation to Sunapee and Okemo! It was one of our favorite Airbnb’s. So cozy, great location, great atmosphere, great decorating, etc. We just felt right at home from a minute. We walked in the door Beds comfortable. The upstairs is great if you have a few kids who just want to crash on a bunch of different beds. Laurie, who we mostly communicated with, was fantastic. So nice and so easy to get in touch with if we needed her for anything. Thanks for a great day! Hope to come back someday.
