Everything was perfect and as described..location was ideal and right next to the complex with space for two cars which was great. The facilities in the bungalow were great and having two toilets was worth it. There was an issue with trying to get hot water in the shower where David was rapid in his response, the water did still go cold every now and again but nothing major. Great stay, great communication and will 100% be back for sure. 5 stars all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved our stay here. The house was perfect with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the blankets so we felt cozy on the sofa at night and the beds were so comfortable. There were plenty of spaces to park and there is easy access to the beach. A great place for sea glass hunters or if you just want to watch a beautiful sunset. We would definitely recommend Chad’s place. Thank you for a great stay.

Alison was an amazing host, she was so flexible and kept us up to date through out our stay. Was so clean and you can see the sea from the front window.

Absolutely spotless, so clean and tidy. Lots of extra bedding, blankets and sheets. The caravan smelt so lovely and was very well equipt with lots of plates, glasses, cutlery and everything we needed!! There were 2 adults and 6 children and we had lots of space! Diane was a great host and we cant wait to stay again!

Lovely stay at Powfoot over Christmas. Carolyn had very kindly put up lights and a Christmas tree for us which was extra special - thank you. Excellent instructions and detailed information about the house and the surrounding area. Also to highlight to take care on the mud flats when the tide is coming in. We enjoyed visits to Mabie Forest, Drumlanrig and Caerlaverock castles all recommended even on an atmospheric (wet!) December day!

We had an amazing weekend at Garry’s place. There’s lots to do in the area but we couldn’t think of a good reason to leave. The property is right on the beach which was very much enjoyed by children and the dog. The house is really well equipped. It was clean and beautifully furnished. Beds were super comfy. Lots of space for 4 adults two children and a dog.

We had an amazing time. The accomodation was right on the beach and the use of the Summer house and Hot tub was a wonderful addition. We did plenty of walking and found the guest manual very useful for recommendations around the area. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need, as were the bathrooms and bedrooms. Susan's instructions for check in were very helpful, and we knew she was there throughout our stay if we needed anything. We would definitely return in the future. Thanks for such a great stay!

a gem of a place, the location was ideal for beach walks and exploring the lakes. utility room is perfect for sorting wet clothes and wetsuits post wild swimming. Cosy, comfortable and perfect for a group of 8 (4 adult and 4 children).

We absolutely loved our stay here. Hosts were super friendly and responsive. I even asked if we could check in earlier to leave bags and they let us do this. The lodge has everything you could need and we found this to be the best lodge, location wise, on the park. The steps lead right down to the lake. We took our kayak and went out several times. The huge balcony which is fully furnished was great to watch the sunset of an evening with a glass of wine! Dog are allowed too which was a huge bonus. The We wouldn’t hesitate to book again! It was a great way to celebrate my birthday! Thanks again

We had a lovely couple of days at the caravan, the view was lovely. We really enjoyed the sunset and also watching how far the tide went out. As well as watching the ferries come in and go out again. The beds were really comfortable and the heating was easy to use. Having the large grassed area just outside was lovely for the child to run about on but within view. I would recommend for a family and those wanting a step back from the hustle and bustle.

We had a lovely break this Easter bank holiday. The communication was excellent. The caravan was well equipped, clean and well located to haven’s amenities. Children enjoyed the board games. Weather was warm enough to sit out briefly on last day. Outdoor furniture made this a pleasant experience. As a family we’d happily return to explore the area further.

Absolutely gorgeous place. We loved being on the lake and and having access to it. Vanessa gave loads of recommendations and communicated well. Pictures matched the place. Wouldn't hesitate going back.

what a great air b&b . clean and tidy . we had an issue which was our right within hours. everything was explained in the texts we sent and received . can't rave to much about van, sie ,area and host. what a sea view.

Had a great stay in a cosy and comfortable flat with a sea view. Well appointed flat and clean with everything you'll need. Easy off-street parking onsite. Chris is a good communicator and very helpful. Highly recommended place to stay.

We were lucky enough to have the weather to watch two amazing sunsets from the decking of the chalet. Gary’s directions were straightforward so it’s really easy to find the property. The chalet is cosy, clean and warm. The location is excellent and the steps down to the beach are right next to the chalet. Gary was really attentive and the marshmallows that he left for us to roast along with the bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my partner’s birthday were a very welcome touch.

I cannot recommend Gillian’s beautiful home highly enough, my partner and I booked it as a very last minute trip for new year with our two kids and it was just brilliant. Even in the typical Scottish weather the views were lovely and when the sun was shining it was stunning. The home has everything in it that you could possibly need and is so cosy and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen was really well equipped and was spacious enough to cook as well as being a social area. We decided to book again as soon as we’d arrived! Thank you Gillian x

Clean and comfortable little cottage with a wonderful, dog friendly garden. Sharon didn't leave lots of 'rules' about our dog, which was great and which ensured we treated her place with respect eg the dog didnt go upstairs and we were scrupulous about cleaning up after her. The set up regarding the house next door perhaps needs clarification as we weren't sure which garden furniture to use or whether our dog had access to the whole garden. The kitchen is bright and clean and equipped to an okay standard, although some serving bowls would be useful.

Jack's place was absolutely ideal for what I needed. space for the dog to be left when it wasn't possible to take him with me. I will definitely book again in the near future. It could just be doing with a better clean and the stuff left in cupboards is a bit lax, but other than that very comfy bed, and definitely served it's purpose!!

We had a fantastic stay at Spindrift, the scenery is truly stunning. As a host Wilma goes above and beyond, the cottage was very well stocked with everything you could want. The thoughtful extras were much appreciated. We will definitely return.

We found this house by Amanda on Airbnb at St. Beach, and it truly made our vacation this year unforgettable. It's definitely much better than the pictures and description suggest. A peaceful, small, and clean house, just a two-minute walk from the beach, with lush green hills and a restaurant for breakfast right in front. Just an hour's drive to many other Lake District towns. This is an ideal place to refresh your spirit. I would love to come back here again and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you so much, Amanda; I highly recommend your house!

Beautiful modern apt and furnishings and big . Fantastic sea view from bedroom and living room , loved having my breakfast there and waking up to a beautiful sea view . Bed was comfy and nice bathroom and kitchen with everything you need . . Loved our stay it was a perfect . Everything on your doorstep that you need . Just parked up and easily walked to places. We had an amazing stay , we couldn't get the WiFi to work and had problem with telly, Jodie did respond but it wasnt anything major so we said to leave it Going to miss waking up to that view. Hope to return one day .
