A lovely place. Not quite the romance of the older parts of Stromness, but it has a great view, is well-appointed, and has easy parking. It’s easy to get down to the shops in Stromness and easily equally to get driving out of the town. Definitely would return.

Nice place, Great view across the bay, Great host, Place was very clean and tidy and would certainly recommend. Plenty of parking space. We certainly had a lovely week at this property.

We absolutely loved out stay at Peedie Cott. It was one of the cutest most spotlessly clean, thoughtful Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. From the start, Cathy's instructions made it very easy to access the property. We arrived into a beautifully decorated, super cosy and comfortable little haven, which was in the centre of the small village of St. Margaret's Hope making it very easy to get around. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed and Cathy left great instructions on how everything worked (heating, wifi etc.). The whole place was immaculate. Lovely touches included the wood burning stove and the lovely little hamper and fresh milk Cathy left us. She had left lots of amenities in the bathroom in case we'd forgotten anything which was just so kind, she'd really gone the extra mile. We felt it was a very special stay and we wouldn't hesitate to return, I hope we can. If you've booked this property you're in for a treat and if you're thinking about it, just do it!

Evelyn was a great host, the house is lovely, very cosy and peaceful. Great views, shops/supermarkets within a short drive and it’s an ideal base for travelling around Orkney. The beds are super comfy.

Fantastic holiday property, the whole family felt at home. Spacious and comfortable. Tastefully decorated with a mix of modern and classic style. Lovely garden. The Woodburner is great for cosy evenings. The location is so handy for local shops and you can walk to the harbour or museums. The hosts were so helpful. Definitely recommend.

Everything about this Airbnb is first class. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is obvious great care has been taken to provide everything necessary for a perfect stay. Dawn was a great host and communication was quick and easy. Thank you Dawn.

Backaskaill is a lovely house in a stunning location. We had a great family holiday including beach, great cliff and dune walks and nearly 24 hour daylight. Will be back.

Our week on Orkney Island wouldn’t be so great without that place. As we came with children one 3 mo, it’s perfect and it feels like home. Close to the town center and shops etc. Also a good spot if you want to drive and see most important sites on the Island. Clean and cozy. Highly recommended.

Bert’s apartment was excellent. It was even better in real life than on the pictures. We had two dogs and a toddler with us and were all very comfortable for the duration of our stay. Bert was an excellent host. Really friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend a stay with him.

Enjoyed our stay at Jeans place! Just like the pictures. Looks and feels brand new, clean fresh bathrooms and linen, modern bathroom/en suite with complementary toiletries and even some local produce left for us to try. WiFi good, free parking (sometimes busy but never struggled to park). I don't think I could find a single negative point. Couldn't have been happier with our stay and the service. 5*
