A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs! We will enjoy a nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes. This experience is great for groups and great for teams! We love to host private and corporate groups, and socializing with the dogs is great for team-building! Other things to note: We will be in direct sun, so bring sunscreen and other protective wear. There are no bathrooms in Runyon Canyon. Your friendly dog is welcome to join us! Welcome to Silver Lake! This incredible neighborhood is one of the coolest places you can visit in Los Angeles. Silver Lake is home to celebrities, amazing restaurants, great shopping, and some of LA's best hidden street art. This 2.5 mile walk will take you up and down several hidden stairways in the area. Many of these stairs have been painted by some of LA's most talented artists. Hearts, rainbows, pianos, and more decorate the beautiful stairways. This workout is also film buffs, along the way you will see film locations from Laurel and Hardy comedies and "The Fast and Furious". Throughout the tour, your guide will share the fascinating history of this neighborhood and LA. You'll discover how Silver Lake got its name and grew into one of the most amazing neighborhoods in Los Angeles, all while hiking a unique route through the hills. As we walk, you will want to take tons of pictures! Most days we have great views of Downtown and the Hollywood Sign. Your guide is happy to be your personal photographer so that you don't miss a shot. Whether you want to pose with the art or just capture the view, this tour is great for pictures. Cat is international award-winning variety performer Vixen DeVille with 15 years experience in Fire Eating and Flame Manipulation. At the newly renovated Theatre 68 Arts Complex she will take you through the theory and safety precautions behind fire eating and body burning. We'll then actually light up the torches and explore this performance art fully with hand transfers, tongue transfers and of course, extinguishing the flame with your mouth. This is NOT an illusion! By the end of the session you'll be fire eating and body burning like a pro. Other things to note: Wear close-fitting clothes, sleeveless is ideal and either leggings or shorts. Flat shoes, no heels. Avoid wearing lipstick or body moisturizer & avoid use of hairspray. Long hair should be tied back.
