We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is exactly as described and as the pictures just a bit bigger than we imagined which was even better. The fact that there were two kitchens one at the top and one at the bottom made things a lot more practical and accessible. We really appreciate the good communication, flexibility and the small details in the house such as heated bean bags on the beds, small lights everywhere and great kitchen equipment and utensils. We had a fantastic family stay at Carol's beautiful beach home. It was spotless. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and we felt at ease and relaxed from the minute we walked in. Nice courtyard at the back to entertain and keep out of the wind on some of the days. Otherwise, a lovely braai spot in from of the house on the verande with ocean views. Morning coffee on the veranda every day, with a view of the ocean, was a treat. Just a short walk down the path to the harbour with restaurants and little shops as well as soft serve ice cream. A brisk 2km walk down to the main beach all along the coastline making. Carol was super friendly, and her home is truly a gem.

We had such a great time at Ciska’s place!! She made a huge effort to make sure we had everything we needed for our family with 2 young kids. The house has such a relaxed vibe, is super comfortable and well equipped. Safe neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, fun beaches… best vacation ever!!

We as a family truly enjoyed our stay On The Rocks in Onrus! The house was super clean and spacious enough to allow for privacy whilst remaining cozy. The big table was perfect for meals and games, and the yard (incl. trampoline) and downstairs were great for the kids. The house is also very well equipped. The location could not have been better! This was our first time in Onrus and the little town and the beach exceeded all of our expectations. Heleen, the host, is very responsive and friendly and eased all our concerns before our stay. This was a weekend of a lifetime.. This house is so lovely and we all immediately felt at home. So much thoughtfulness has gone into creating the home. Sitting in the heated indoor/under cover pool with a view of the mountain, while watching our friend doing the bbq/braai was one of those moments of shere gratefulness. It was a double blessing that we had a weekend with out wind in Betty's Bay. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us!

The historic Herbert Baker design provided a comfortable and homely space to dwell in. Our family felt at home immediately. Its was a privilege to have spent the few days at this property.

This place is really amazing. It is value for money. The pictures are exactly what you will get and more. Lots of space as well as not to close to the neighbours. The place is extremely clean and well put together. A very beautiful venue to break away from the city or just have some time together with family or friends. The host is friendly and accommodating.

We have booked Bruce's wonderful Whale Huys for our extended family holidays... we were a small group of nine people. I used to live in Gansbaai and De Kelders for a decade in 20 years ago, and my parents and my brother's family had already visited the region also. What a pleasure to discover Bruce's amazing house and to be able to enjoy Walker Bay and the coastline of De Kelders from this house. René, the property manager, welcomed us to the house and showed us the facilities. The house was absolutely perfect for our family and our stay... we just wish we had more time. The house is stunning and offers incredible views over the Ocean and Walker Bay... looking westward, the sunsets are just stunning. The house had every amenity one could need or dream of. The rooms and spaces were spacious, comfortable and perfect, the terraces were amazing, the bar room overlooking the pool was ideal, etc. Just the perfect home away from home. I highly recommend this house when visiting the region!

a great house in a wonderfully quiet area. perfectly and very tastefully furnished. a few minutes from the beach. with a bit of luck you can watch zebras from your bedroom in the morning ... hildegarde and thys are wonderful and helpful hosts. we would love to come back ...

What a peaceful environment. Quiet and private We loved the Lagoon and its easy access from the cabin. It was a real treat with lots do to.

Wow! What a great place to stay! If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. The hidden haven is located six kilometers from the road that leads through the valley. The house is very tastefully furnished, the bathrooms are great and the kitchen is fully equipped. We loved the pizza oven and the hot tub. An absolute recommendation !!!
