2024 Auburn Parents Weekend was a smashing success -- in large part do to our "home away from home" this past weekend. The space was lovely, location perfect, and our host was incredibly responsive. Three sets of parents in town from across the country -- and all of us agree...this one knocked it out of the park! Thank you, Francie -- so much for helping us make wonderful memories at Auburn and with our proud Auburn students. War Eagle!

Shaun was a great host! Extremely responsive n provided clear instructions. The house was spotless n inviting. Shaun clearly went above n beyond to make the home warm n friendly. Perfect location to enjoy the old downtown of Columbus. Stephanie gave great instructions and there is off street parking. Love the historic vibe of the place and the neighborhood.

The carriage house was set up nicely and we enjoyed our stay very much. The host was excellent at communicating whenever we needed anything she was quick to respond. We stayed in the ground floor apartment of the carriage house. You can hear everything from the guests who stay above. They were getting up at 4:30/ 5am so that meant we were too. That is my only complaint but I would still come back and stay again. I think it’s unusual that guests get up and leave at those very early morning hours. Or rent both units so you and your friends/ family have the whole place.

We are a family of four that often travel back to Columbus to visit other family. So far, this has been our absolute favorite place to stay. The bunk bed room and the private spacious backyard make it perfect for kids. It does not have a permanent kitchen table, but even better, a really nice folding table and chairs set. We took it outside and had breakfast on the back porch one morning.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. The location is incredible. We parked the car and didn’t have to leave our entire stay. We were able to walk to campus activities, shops and restaurants. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The check in and out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We can’t wait to come back and stay.

This was a hidden gem! Clean, comfortable and relaxing! We would definitely stay again and refer our family and friends!

The house was very nice and plenty of space for a family and are two dogs . Terry was very quick to respond on any questions . Beautiful view and we would definitely stay here again . We stayed for my sons AIT graduation in Ft. Moore only a 30 min drive . Thanks for everything Terry .

We had an amazing stay for our son’s family leave at Ft Benning. The home is a mix of Southern charm, comfort, and peaceful seclusion. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have hoped for. The setting is serene and surrounded by nature. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Columbus. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

Antonia’s place was great for our quick trip. Her house was stocked with so many extras for guests. The screened in front porch was our family’s favorite spot. Her place is peaceful, walking distance to local shops, and an easy drive to Columbus. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home during our trip for our son’s Turning Blue ceremony and Army graduation. The house was incredibly comfortable, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the fresh eggs, thoughtful snacks, and coffee! such a warm and generous touch! At first, we were a bit worried that the house might be far from the base, but it turned out to be in the perfect location. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’re truly grateful for such a peaceful and welcoming place to stay during this special time. If we ever have the chance, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Allison’s was wonderful! Wish I booked it for a few more days! Super easy to find. Such a great place to unwind and spend some good family time doing all the things-fishing, boating and hanging out on the dock. Beds were awesome too! So comfy! Thank you Allison for everything!! It was fun!! 😎

We really enjoyed our stay here. Amy was very friendly and responsive. The home was nice and the surroundings were beautiful. The few small concerns we shared were immediately addressed. The only amenity concern is the pool closed at various hours as it is listed to close at “dusk” which is up to the Callaway safety security team to decide what time that is. Other than that, the place met all of our expectations.

The place was perfect. Homey and very close to the base. Plenty of space for us and our soldier to spend time and rest. Loved that there were plenty of extra towels and linens for couch sleeping. Thank you for making this stay stress free! We were able to focus on our soldier.
