La Experiencia Original de la Cascada. Si está buscando experimentar la verdadera cultura, naturaleza y belleza de Costa Rica, esta es la experiencia que está buscando. Lo llevaremos a Las Monas (los monos) Selva tropical a unos 5 minutos de Jaco. Es una caminata de 25 minutos hacia la jungla donde aprenderá sobre la vegetación natural utilizada como medicina por los nativos de Las Monas. La experiencia dura de 2,5 a 3,5 horas, dependiendo de cuánto tiempo le gustaría estar en cada cascada y nadar en las piscinas naturales. No tienes que nadar si no quieres;) Una vez que lleguemos a las Cataratas, podrás nadar en las 10 piscinas naturales o saltar desde lo alto de las cascadas. En el camino de regreso tendrás el placer de degustar la gastronomía local en La Casita del Sabor, cocinada por la Abuela del pueblo de Las Monas. Join me on a guided, yet off the beaten path, tour of the local rainforest and waterfalls. We will hike through creeks and up mountains to reach multiple waterfalls - each one unique. In the first part of the hike, we will walk on flat land through creeks, and I will show you local flaura and fauna as we go. The second part of the hike takes us more uphill, to see the waterfalls, where you can swim in clear blue fresh water. If you want, you can also jump from rocks into the waterfall. I will make sure you feel safe and show you how to climb the rocks and jump if you’d like. We will also cross some bridges over the waterfalls, which give you a beautiful view of the waterfalls and trees from high up. On the third part of the hike, we reach the highest waterfalls. You can choose to scale the mountains using ropes to pull you up, or you can walk on the path which is easier (but still beautiful). You will be surrounded by trees, plants, wildlife (shrimp, lobsters, frogs, butterflies, etc), and of course beautiful waterfalls with pools at the bottom that you can swim in. I will bring fresh coconuts for hidration. I will also bring local fruits for you to try. I will share with you my knowledge of the area - from the history to the wildlife.

We will start your surf experience making sure safety and fun will be guaranteed. A 15 minute land lesson will cover the essentials to get you ready for your first ever waves. Maneuvering and wave reading will slowly but surely start happening over time . The fun will never stop during your lesson that’s for sure. Costa Rica is a small country in Central America that is home to around 5% of the world's biodiversity. Most animals in Costa Rica are nocturnal. If you like mammals such as sloths, armadillos, active birds such as owls, amphibians, reptiles, and many insects, then this is the opportunity to carry out an outdoor activity and learn more about the nocturnal behavior of many species of flora and fauna. It is an easily accessible route of around 2 kilometers, the ‘jewels’ of the cloud forest shine brighter at night. With luck, we will even be able to observe the famous bioluminescent mushrooms. the place where I do the night walk is very close to the center of Monteverde Santa Elena, it takes only 5 minutes by car. As the night grows dark, we'll step into our comfortable kayaks and get ready for a personal encounter with this remarkable phenomenon. We will lead you to the best spots, where sparkling algae accumulates. For a full hour, you will be enchanted by how every stroke of your paddle leaves behind a swirl of light, and fish light up their path like shooting stars in the water. The more YOU splash the water the more bioluminescent light you will experience. You are in command, the algae will NOT glow on its own, you have to ACTIVATE it with YOUR hands or the paddle. Come a bit early to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the bay and a nice cup of Costa Rican coffee, juice, and some snacks. You'll get a briefing, a suitable life jacket, before we go to the launch area for the kayaks. It will be like going on a cozy family tour, as the maximum group size is 10 people. Our trip continues down the road until we reach the beach of jaco where we we’ll get to enjoy the beautiful sunset as we ride. I offer a professional naturalist guided tour in the cloud forest of monteverde area . With 20 years experience working in tourism activitie I will lead you along the trails explaining about the different eco sistems found here. We use a professional equipment , like spotted telescope and binocular to facilitate the observation of fauna and flora. There are many interesting hidden animmals and plants in the forest and the only way to spotted them is with the experienced guide.

Monteverde in Costa Rica is one of the best destinations for Birdwatching around different birds habitats. I was raised in Monteverde where I have been living all my life listening all the different bird calls all the time, that I can recognize 99% of them. My 31 years experience made me very exigent to use different birdwatching places, depending the season or weather conditions to see as many birds as possible. We'll start birdwatching at 6:00 AM, where we'll see about 30 different species of birds at an elevation of about 4,500 feet above sea level. Then we'll stop at the cafeteria for a quick Costa Rican coffee. After that, we'll move up to Curicancha Reserve where we'll walk through two different life zones including different types of forests (secondary, transitional and primary) plus open areas where we'll be able to see much more variety of birds or Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve to be at a different elevation—about 5,000 feet above sea level—where we'll see much more interesting birds, including the resplendent quetzal, guans, barbets, three-wattled bellbirds, tinamous, and so many others. Nos reuniremos con el guía asignado en Sloth Watching Trail a las 8:00am, o en su hotel si es cerca de La Fortuna. (solicitar transporte) Primero nos dirigimos a la majestuosa Catarata de La Fortuna, (520 escalones) que tiene 70 metros de altura; donde si el clima lo permite, nos bañaremos en sus aguas cristalinas. (si llueve mucho no será posible) Estaremos alrededor de una hora y media en este lugar; luego tomaremos el minibús para dirigirnos al siguiente punto y uno de los más espectaculares, la caminata en el bosque tropical hasta la base del Volcán Arenal, donde visitaremos los coladas de lava de los años 1525, 1968 y 2010; Además mientras disfrutamos de este hermoso parque ecológico aprenderemos sobre los árboles y animales que habitan este lugar. (Aproximadamente dos horas hasta la base del volcán y una hora hasta la laguna verde). Luego del descenso disfrutaremos de un baño en la laguna verde de agua totalmente limpia y de formación volcánica. (Si el nivel está muy bajo no es permitido saltar al lago). Una vez que lo hayamos disfrutado, tendremos un almuerzo tradicional. Para finalizar retornamos al bus para dirigirnos al río natural de aguas termales (Rio Tabacón), donde disfrutaremos de un lugar majestuoso, también les colocaremos una mascarilla de barro volcánico. Para después de un gran día de aventura y experiencia, regrese a La Fortuna alrededor de las 4 pm.

Join me in exploring the cloud forest from a different perspective, a night walk is a unique and unforgettable experience. Costa Rica is a small country in Central America that is home to around 5% of the world's biodiversity. Most animals in Costa Rica are nocturnal. If you like mammals such as sloths, armadillos, active birds such as owls, amphibians, reptiles, and many insects, then this is the opportunity to carry out an outdoor activity and learn more about the nocturnal behavior of many species of flora and fauna. It is an easily accessible route of around 2 kilometers, the ‘jewels’ of the cloud forest shine brighter at night. With luck, we will even be able to observe the famous bioluminescent mushrooms. the place where I do the night walk is very close to the center of Monteverde Santa Elena, it takes only 5 minutes by car. As I'm born and raised in this area and know the sea since my younger years I'm able to give you a great local experience to this beautiful Island. We leave with the boat from Playa Los Organos, for a nice boat ride from about 20 minutes, on the way to the Island Tortuga you are able to enjoy the beautiful coastline with playa Quesera together with some marine life. We will pass the 'Arco Iris' (Rainbow Rock) where we will go with the boat through the hole in the rock, from here we will visit the group of Island called Morteros for snorkeling. The volcanic rock reef is surrounded by crystalline waters and famous for the large number of colorful fish and some corals. Changing the snorkeling mask for the sunglasses again, we are heading to the island itself where you can enjoy a swim in the warm waters, stroll along the sugary white sandy beach, hike the trail to the top of the island or relax in the shadow of a swaying palm tree. We will here at a calm beach (not the main one) some fresh fruits, drinks & a sandwich (ham & cheese, or cheese for vegetarian). You could just through down you towel in the nice sandy beach or just sit and relax on in the shade.

Surf lessons for any level on Santa Teresa Beach, Hermosa Beach. Incluides- 1:30 min. in the water with a professional instructor. All the equipment (board, leash, surf t-shirt, sunblock). Transport from your accommodation to the surf spot. Refreshments (e.g. water, coconut water, national fruits). You can aslo come and book at our surf shop Pocketwave

We will start your surf experience making sure safety and fun will be guaranteed. A 15 minute land lesson will cover the essentials to get you ready for your first ever waves. Within the first 5 minutes in the water you will get up GUARANTEED .As you feel more and more confident we start teaching you more levels of surfing . Maneuvering and wave reading will slowly but surely start happening over time . The fun will never stop during your lesson that’s for sure. We will take a break after the first hours and finish off with a more thrilling second hour that will leave you asking for more fun.
