Great place to stay. It was private and had great view. Birna was responsive to every question we had and her responses were quick and kind.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and well located. Everything we needed (e.g. salt, oil and even washing tabs) was available to us. Our beds were prepared for us and everything was in great condition. Thank you for having us.

Nous voulons faire le tour de l'île. ce premier logement était parfait après la journée de voyage. De quoi commencer parfaitement nos vacances en famille. un endroit chaleureux avec tout ce qu'il faut et une hôte super.

This house is truly a gem - so cozy, clean, and beautifully designed and decorated. We loved the location - away from the city yet still convienient to Selfoss and other sites in the south of Iceland. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt at home. After long days of driving and exploring, we looked forward to returning and settling in for the evening. We feel Margrét is a 5-star super host! She was always responsive and communicative and provided many wonderful recommendations for both restaurants and interesting sites to visit. We think this is the best AirBNB we have ever stayed in and look forward to a return trip to Iceland and to Margrét's place.

We had a lovely, restful night at Sigrún’s cottage. Very tastefully appointed and in a beautiful spot away from the city. One of our favorites in Iceland so far.

Wir waren eine Woche bei Haukur in der Hütte und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Er war immer gut erreichbar und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und super um abzuschalten. Es ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Es sah zu jeder Wetterlage traumhaft aus. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet. Man ist von Selfoss ca. 20 min mit dem Auto entfernt und dort gibt es alles was man braucht. Es hat uns sehr gefreut dich kennenzulernen, hoffentlich bis zum nächsten Mal!

We loved Hulda's apartment. The location is perfect for your Golden Circle Experience as it's really close to all the main attractions. The apartment is cute, very clean and easy to access.Also three of us were very comfortable and a family of four could manage well there. It's less than five minutes from multitudes of great restaurants in what looks like an up and coming town in Sulfoss. I could not recommend Hulda and her place enough!

wonderful location to navigate all the amazing places in Iceland. we visited the secret lagoon and tomato farm, just 30 minutes away.🤽‍♀️🍅 local hot pools 6 minutes away.🧖‍♀️ selfoss 20 minutes.🏛 golden circle an hour.⛲️ walked to the river an hour away with the neighbours dog accompanying us! 🐕 witnessed amazing Northern lights as there are no artificial lights. 🌌 Reykjavik just over an hour 🏢 we had some heavy snowfall and a 4x4 would have been an advantage but we did manage in our hire car. roads were kept clear. hosts checked on us and messaged too. we were a group of 12, 3 families and had the whole place, it worked really well for us. it's our 3rd visit to Iceland and the other 2 families first, I think they will be back!!
