I've been running through Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan as part of my own training routine since 2012. We will meet at McCarren Park Track on the border of Greenpoint/Williamsburg in Brooklyn. This is mile 12 of the NYC Marathon. I will go over running safety in the city. Depending on traffic we may side track in a few places where I feel a safer detour is necessary. Alimentos
I will bring one energy gel per person and a small water. After the run I can direct you to wherever you’re heading or give some local recommendations. We can happily take a bagel detour on E 61st St. to enjoy after reaching Central Park at guest’s expense. This is the best carb load after a run!

Dónde estarás

Beautiful McCarren Park, trendy Greenpoint, Pulaski Bridge, views of Manhattan, Long Island City waterfront and piers, Pepsi Cola sign Queensboro (59th St) Bridge crossing over the East River and Roosevelt Island, Plaza Hotel and along Central Park South to Columbus Circle, into south west corner of Central Park. I will alert you when restrooms and water fountains are available. I will describe how it feels to run these miles during the marathon
