You'll visit the famous Treaty Oak and get the chance to learn about it's long and sometimes strange history as a location for war and peace parties with various Native American Tribes. You'll get a chance to see one of the few remaining active moon-towers; was Jack the Ripper really in Austin first? We will take a ride through the University of Texas Campus to see the iconic tower that Charles Whitman made famous in 1966 and learn about school's founding in 1883. You will also take a pedal down to the State Capital grounds to talk about the founding of Texas and the struggle that took place in naming Austin as the capital.

I have been traveling since 2010 and after exploring and becoming a guide myself I now I truly believe the best way to learn about a city is through local guides and stories. I also believe that cycling is the greatest and most pleasurable form of transit ever invented. It allows one to explore the nooks and crannies of Austin in ways no motorist ever could. So by combining the two I am really excited to share the feelings of freedom one can feel in a metropolis and share Austin's rich cultural history with you. : )

Super gentle ride around town with a super informative native son who really made the jaunt with his deep knowledge of Austin history and fabulous personality! I recommend it highly!

Tour guide made sure we felt comfortable with our bikes. Great storytelling and attitude despite the on and off torrential rainpour (they had ponchos for us, thankfully). It was a bit hard to hear some facts if we were towards the back of the group, but for the most part any fun factso/history were told at stopping points.

Trey was such a cool tour guide! We love how personal & knowledgeable he was about the city. We learned and got to see a lot of the city. It was the perfect day & weather to go bike riding. We really enjoyed our tour with Trey & would highly recommend it!

Great bike ride! Our host was definitely passionate about the history of Austin. I would say as a heads up, you might want to bring your own water bottle. The description says "drinks" provided, but it's a stop at the not so COVID safe public water fountain. Water is a must for a 6 mile ride.

Not a big history buff but thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Laughed through a good bit of Adam’s storytelling. He kept it interesting, weaving quite a bit of current info and trivia throughout. Would highly recommend or take any new tours they added to the roster!

It's a heartbreaking for me to leave 4 star rating, because host was exceptional! Friendly with a passion to what he is doing and a lot of great stories about the town. Unfortunately the group size was too big (13 people) and they didn't even warn us about it (I'd reschedule the tour, we had some flexibility). Anyway because of the size we had to skip fast through the tour, it was hard for a guide to scream the information, and even if he did his best talking loud if you are at the end of the group you don't hear anything.
