Dónde estarás

We'll visit the industrial area of Nairobi to see firsthand how matatus are built and furnished. Then we'll take a matatu and witness people entering and exiting, conductors yelling to attract clients, directing traffic, etc. Observe how they operate as you enjoy the sights and sounds of Nairobi.

Más consejos

Expect to share what Kenyans experience every day on a matatu ride that is full of adrenaline, loud music, and ordinary passengers. Avoid carrying expensive gadgets and bulky handbags. Just like any trip on public transport through a busy African city, you'll need to dress comfortably and modestly, avoid taking valuables, and be alert. We'll be in a group so if we stick together and you listen to your host then there's no reason you should have a problem.
