Qué harás

Sip craft beer and socialize with rescue pups—while saving lives.

Who loves dogs and enjoys craft beer and cider?
How about enjoying both together during a low-key social fundraiser with fellow-dog lovers?
Your registration fee helps us save and care for additional deserving dogs.

Your ticket includes your FIRST DRINK - your choice of a craft beer, cider or a non-alcoholic beverage. You can purchase additional drinks directly from Cairn Brewing. There will be a food truck on-site for separate purchase.

Join us for this fun event and meet an average of 7-10 dogs from tall to small!
You'll meet adoptable foster dogs; Dog Gone Seattle Alumni (dogs who've already been adopted via the rescue) and volunteer's personal dogs.

The Dog Gone Seattle "Mutt Mixer" is held at a dog-friendly microbrewery.
Check in with your host Wendy at the table facing you as you enter the microbrewery.
(I'll be wearing a Dog Gone Seattle shirt and name tag.)

This event is held rain or shine. When the weather is nice, the microbrewery garage doors are up, bringing the outdoors in. We have reserved tables just inside Cairn's main entry door as well as comfy couches & lounge chairs.

I've been volunteering with the Dog Gone Seattle Rescue since its inception January 2017. We are a foster-based rescue who with your help has saved over 900 dogs in 2019.

We live our motto of "Rescue-Respect-Repeat" daily as we rescue homeless dogs from high-kill shelters. Dog Gone Seattle provides vet care, high-quality nutrition and basic training in a nurturing, experienced foster-home setting. We then carefully match each dog with their adoptive family.
A fin de proteger tus pagos, te pedimos que nunca transfieras dinero ni te comuniques fuera de la página o la aplicación de Airbnb. Más información

We loved this experience! The dogs were all super cute and well behaved, and it was great getting to chat with everyone and meet a few people.

Fun was to donate to a great cause; a pint of brew and opportunity to meet great dog people and their canine friends. Gather friends and come to Cairn's to support this great experience.

I was expecting introductions and dog stories, to pet some cute dogs and get to know their owners. This felt like an event for the dog owners to get together and talk, and inviting paying customers was just something tacked on to justify this as an "experience". In addition, I don't feel that the dogs or owners were properly screened. the owner of one dog admitted that he had Giardia, which is highly infectious, and another dog was so large he was towing his owner around the venue. Overall, I cannot recommend this "experience" and would recommend visiting a local humane society and donating to them instead.

Goes to a great cause, but fairly far away from Seattle and does not include any beer with the price paid. Would’ve been better if the rescue was more interconnected with brewery or if the event was private as other non-paying patrons were able basically pet and hangout with all the dogs even though they didn’t pay.

The venue was great, got to discover a new place to gather in the neighborhood. It was also great to meet Wendy and the other volunteers, and their dogs. Did not meet dogs that were looking for homes though...

This is a very unique & great event to share joy with dogs, & their foster owners or owners, while enjoying some good beer. I was just in the area for a weekend visit, and really loved that this special gathering happened to work into my travel plans, but the real benefit here would be to local rescue dog owners/fosterers & the rescue dogs themselves in this community! Not only do you get to meet any dogs looking for a home, but also it’s a great environment for the variety of rescue dogs present to socialize with other dogs & people, and work on certain skills (whether it be shy dogs learning to come out of their shell, or overly-exuberant dogs learning control... it takes all kinds!) such a fun & special event - All breweries & rescue pet organizations should have a partnership like this!
