Qué harás

Our day trip will take you on a special journey--we’re going to have fun, eat well, walk in the wild, and show you our favorite parts of the National Park. We keep our groups small; you may join a few other explorers (we limit our trips at ten guests) from all over the world. We’ll pick you up in a Mercedes Sprinter van from downtown Seattle at a stop convenient to you, then we hop on a ferry! We’ll roam the windy decks, have a little breakfast, and see some sweeping panoramic city views you won’t find elsewhere before continuing on to the northeast corner of the Park. In the National Park, we’ll see giant old growth trees, azure lakes and waterfalls, and watch for bears, birds and marmots. We’ll ditch the van to stroll through several terrains - from moss-draped forest floors to pillowy snow on Hurricane Ridge, or the soft rolling sands of the mouth of the Elwha River. We’ll cater activity levels to the desires of the group. At the end of the day we’ll return you to your place in downtown Seattle!
Other things to note
- Even if you're the only person booking a trip date - join us! It's likely someone else is booked (that called us to book) instead of AirBNB.

Dónde estarás

Our guides work closely with Mother Nature: Sunny? We take lots of pictures and walk through meadows of wildflowers! Rainy? Take shelter by walking beneath giant old trees and chase waterfalls! Snow? No problem, we’ll bring jackets and snowshoes. Some of our favorite places include: Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, Marymere Falls, the Mouth of the Elwha River, Salt Creek Recreation Area, and everything in between!

Breathtaking day that I will always remember! Sunshine, rainbows, fresh powder, yams and kale lunch, laughter in the van, otherworldly moss forest, freakish fungi and mushrooms and pristine alpine lakes.

This experience was one that, while expensive, I would do it over and over again because of how worth it it is. Being a Seattle tourist, I didn’t know the ins and outs of Olympic National Park nor did I know anything about the history of the state of Washington. A super great perk is that if you're within a designated "pick-up zone" – which happens to be where a lot of tourists stay – they come and pick you up right out your front door. Marty is a PHENOMENAL guide who is extremely knowledgeable. He has a talent for connecting strangers within the tour group and by the end of it, I left thinking that I was going to miss everyone that I met on that trip. He made the journey to the park seem way shorter than it really was because of his ability to guide conversations and educate the group about the indigenous people, sustainable practices of the state, and geology. Not only is he extremely educated in the content of his tour, but we had fun conversations about a lot of other things that he was also very knowledgable in. We didn’t quite luck out with the weather as it rained the entire time and stormed up on Hurricane Ridge, but he was such a fun guide that I didn’t even care about that. I would definitely book this experience again and if you’re on the fence about it, here’s your sign to just book it. And book it with Marty!

This was an absolutely incredible experience. Elk was our guide and I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. We saw so many amazing things (including two bald eagles) and Elk was incredibly knowledgable about the area and its history and kept us informed and entertained the entire trip. Breakfast and lunch were fantastic and the ferry rides were great, but the amazing views, the walk through the forest, the snowshoe hike, and the quality of our tour guide are what made this experience unforgettable. I'd highly recommend Evergreen Escapes to anyone visiting the Seattle area.
