Qué harás

4.98/5.0 starred online ORIGAMI host now offers in person sessions in Tokyo!
★You can't get the same experience on YouTube because....

1. You will learn how to make popular Japanese origami, which most Japanese kids learn from their mothers.
2. We will use traditional Japanese paper "Washi". You can choose from various "Washi" paper with beautiful designs.
3. You will not only make the shapes but also hear Origami's history and Japanese culture/values.

Only we as locals with expertise in Japanese traditional culture and origami can do this.

We meet up at a cozy Japanese style meeting room located in the central Tokyo near the downtown Shinjuku (We take you from the nearest station to the place). After picking paper you like, you will fold each origami following demonstrations by the host. The host’s hands are live projected on a large screen. We go step by step, emphasizing important skills. If you have questions or requests, either about origami or Japan, we can come over to help anytime.

Origami is a traditional art of paper crafting from Japan. Precision and dexterousness that are required to fold a piece of paper is CONCENTRATING as well as THERAPEUTIC.
This provides you a time to relax and share a common creative experience with people who you care. And you will create cool or lovely shapes by yourself.

It was a fantastic experience with Manami. She was very patient and very friendly and she taught us how to make three very interesting shapes on origami. Her storytelling about Japanese culture was interesting which dovetailed with the origami lesson. We learnt how to make a Sakura, a balloon and Mount Fuji! Thank you Manami this was an experience we will never forget!
