Dónde estarás

Cabbage Key is a small island in Pine Island Sound, just south of Charlotte Harbor and east of Cayo Costa. It is the site of the Old House, a restaurant housed in the historic home built by the American mystery author, Mary Roberts Rhinehart. On the island are nature trails, a water tower, a display of gopher tortoises, gift shop and boat harbor.

The boat ride and Captain Will especially was awesome. We saw a family of dolphins on our return trip, swimming in the wake of the boat for about 5 mins. Was delightful watching them jump while following the boat. Lunch at Cabbage Key was delicious. We watched two tortoises fighting each other, never seen that before! All around was an excellent outing, highly recommend it.

Capitan Will was an amazing host. Knowledgeable, funny, made sure we were all comfortable and took us to a couple of unexpected nature stops. We had dolphins ride our wake there and back! Would highly recommend.

That was a fantastic afternoon that the kids won’t soon forget. Beautiful atmosphere, lots of dolphins & bird watching, and a great lunch to top it off. Would definitely do it again:)

Capt. Will made sure we had a great experience! He was able to get us to Cabbage Key before the big tour crowds so we had enough time to eat, explore and visit the gift shop. The real standout was when he was able to find a pod of dolphins and engaged them to play in the boat’s wake. Such a memorable experience! Definitely enjoyed this more personal experience than a big tour group.
