  • This lovely home is surrounded by trees and is cool and inviting. Lucketts is a great area for antiquing or enjoying nature.

  • Michael and Jackie were just amazing hosts. They made sure I was comfortable and satisfied with the accommodations throughout my stay. Their home is lovely. I just moved to the area and I stayed there until my apartment was ready. The location was perfect for my new job. And there were shopping centers, outlets, restaurants, and gas stations only 5-10 minutes away. I enjoyed the quietness of the area. But I wasn’t too far if I needed to step out for anything. I recommend to anyone coming to the Leesburg area.

    Dorian2018-12-18T00:00:00Z
  • Micheal and Jackie were wonderful hosts. Location was perfect, close to wineries, breweries, and a short drive from historic Leesburg. Very peaceful location. I would definitely stay again.

Great location for a fun get-away! This cozy little cabin has recently been remodeled by a retired carpenter, and is perfect for a quiet stay in the country. Walking distance to Sugarloaf Mountain hiking trails, and a short drive to Sugarloaf Winery and Comus Inn, the cabin is perfect for couples, or solo adventurers looking for fresh air, hunting, wine tasting, hiking, or other outdoor fun.
The cabin is equipped with everything you might need for a long or short term stay. Two single beds, shower, kitchenette, TV and Wifi.
Sugarloaf Mountain Winery is a 6 minute drive away. They have wine tastings and many weekend events. Check their website for schedule. Comus Inn is the closest dining available. Good for fine food or romantic evening out. For obvious reasons, there is no pizza delivery here. Closest place for pizza is Dickerson Market.
  • The place is just as described if not better in person! Bob was a great host and walked us through the place as well as checked on us the next day in case we needed anything. Had a little trouble finding it but followed the directions Bob gave and no problems!

    Melinda2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • The listing did not specify that the main house is right next to the cabin so it wasn’t as secluded as we hoped but it was still a nice place to stay. Very cute cabin

    Natasha2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for two days and had a very relaxing time. We hiked sugarloaf mountain the first day. We parked at the Potomac view parking lot as the east and west parking lots were full. It turned out to be a great place to park for a quick ascend to the top. We took the white trail to blue trail for a short time which connected to the green trail. The green trail had stone steps leading to the top of the mountain for a beautiful view! Our second day we went to the sugarloaf winery for a tasting! I must say I was impressed, the wines are very good for the price. Then we went to Dickerson market for their famous fried chicken, very delicious!! We relaxed in the cabin and on the porch most of the time. It was a very peaceful place to get some much needed rest.

    Megan2019-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is just as advertised and what we expected. Excellent location for hiking up and around Sugarloaf Mtn. Great guide to the cabin features and local attractions. Comfortable, clean and a great place to relax.

    Terry2018-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was in the perfect location for all the wineries and hiking my mom and I wanted to do in the area. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the patio in the morning, enjoying the privacy and sounds of the woods. The cabin was clean and had all the basic necessities needed, along with extras like coffee and granola bars. I will definitely look into staying here whenever I visit the area again!

    Amanda2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place for a getaway. Bob was such a great host with everything that was provided in the cabin. The scenery and the cabin were both beautiful. This would be a great place to stay any time of year summer fall winter spring it has everything you could need. Awesome hiking and a great little winery just a short 5 minute drive down the road !

    annemarie2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is indeed cozy and well off the beaten path. Great place to get away from it all. One small warning: It is so remote that cell service is dicey and internet connection is s-l-o-w. Of course, the idea is to get away from it all, but if you like to stay connected while off in the woods, you may be disappointed.

This house is on 45 acres of property and was built by my father, Jack Yates. The main area is an open floor plan with two living room areas, a dining area and a kitchen. The house has a rustic feel with the walls being rough wood and wooden beams across the ceiling. There are also two bedrooms, a full bathroom and laundry/utility room. This house is the perfect place to get away or take a break. Just a short drive away from parks, trails and the Potomac river.
The house is located on 45 acres with open fields and woods to walk through. This is a great place for someone who likes a older rustic feel but still has TV and other modern amenities. It would be the perfect place to bring your family to get away and enjoy the present moment. There is a full kitchen so you can cook meals, but there are also restaurants in the town of Poolesville about 10 minutes away.
  • This is the perfect place for peace and quiet. We were serenaded by the birds during the day and the frogs at night with no sounds of traffic or civilization butting in. The house is just right for us and has tons of land for us to walk the dogs without worrying about the street. And we love checking in with William (the goat) and the cows next door.

  • We’ve had a great time at this cozy cabin during a very cold January weekend. We expected a cozy, rustic cabin and that’s exactly what we found. Wesley was very welcoming and responded quickly and kindly whenever we had any question during our stay. The piano and the fireplace are nice extras.

    Bastien2019-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great escape from a busy life. We enjoyed the outside deck area and relaxed. Very quiet setting.

  • Lovely little home tucked away on the farm. Feels full of history and stories. We enjoyed our stay very much.

    Sarah2019-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don’t do this place justice. 10-foot ceilings, walls made of reclaimed wood, plenty of space for several people to stay comfortably without being on top of each other. Highly recommended!

    Joe2019-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful farm views and sunsets, lots of land to romp with kids or dogs though bring your mud boots .. Maryland has had a lot of rain this year and it shows. rustic, eclectic decor, comfy beds and plenty of throws and blankets to snuggle up.

My place is close to Sugarloaf Mountain, a winery, outlet mall, C&O Canal, biking, hiking, kayaking, 40 miles from Washington, DC, an hour from Baltimore, 15 minutes from Frederick. You’ll love my place because of I have a very peaceful setting with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Cozy accommodations. Visit the sheep and chickens and my wonderful yellow lab, Trapper. Note: this room is not for long term. Just weekly, not monthly. I do allow some dogs but they CANNOT get on furniture or the bed.
Cozy Quarters: Spend the night on this charming small farm. Beautiful view of the sheep field and Sugarloaf Mountain. One twin bed. Full (shared) bath near room. Visit the sheep and chickens. Casual use of kitchen if needed. Price is for one room only, 1 person in room. I do have another listing (Garden Room) if you have additional people that would like to book (separate listing on Airbnb). I also have an air mattress for an additional charge of $10 that can be put in the room, although it will be tight. Dog =$10 extra. Add another person when booking for the $10. I am dog friendly as I have a labrador, but only one dog and no dogs on furniture or bed please. No cats. This room is not really set up for long term stays (like weeks or a month) as it is just off the dining room. It does have its own entrance.
My home is located in the Agricultural Reserve in Maryland, a land use and open space area with beautiful views of fields and farms. It's very peaceful and quiet. I'm only 2 miles from Sugarloaf Mountain which has great hiking trails. The C&O Canal is 3 miles away for biking, hiking and kayaking. A winery is just 3 miles away.
  • This place is charming. I stayed with Dalis during a bike trip and she was nice enough to let me go through the fridge and cook up dinner.

    Andrew2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous quiet historic house with great bones. Host is gracious and a total pro!

    Erin2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Second story studio loft, despite its size a nicely composed space with some midcentury touches amid the rustic. Has the all important comfortable bed and bedding and a camp kitchen setup that worked for my purposes (coffee!). Traveling with my dog this trip - and he blissed out on the country vista and space to run. It's surprising proximity to the MARC train makes it a quite viable space for DC trippers. Great communications with the host via AirBnB and IRL. Fantastic!

    Bill2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Dalis' farmhouse setup impresses with its vista, accommodating host and resident canine, and facilitating ways. This was my second stay - this time in the private room (cf. barnloft studio). Still made for a restful, immaculate getaway in a corner of Maryland with no shortage of excursion itineraries.

    Bill2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • It’s like a little piece of Heaven - carefree, relaxing, artist community with beautiful country views, fragranced with fresh cut grass and flowers. Dalis is delightful.

Reagan is super responsive to any questions and leaves little touches around the house, which make the place feel homey and warm. Hope to come back soon!! Thanks again!!

  • The cottage was very charming and well equipped for a short visit. Located walking distance to a winery and a short drive to local town with plenty of places to eat, drink and be merry. We dined at Market Table and had an incredible experience thanks to our host’s recommendation. A hammock for relaxation under the stars or accommodations for a home cooked meal are readily available. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting next time we head to Harper’s Ferry or neighboring towns.

  • Great location for exploring Loudoun County wineries/breweries and an easy drive to Harper’s Ferry. This location has a ton of space and privacy. Loved the outdoor patio in the evening and for coffee in the morning. Several breweries/wineries within a short drive. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Janice came over and introduced herself briefly and offered some great tips, but made sure we also had our privacy. Would for sure stay here again for a weekend trip to the area. A+

    Heather2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jorge and Janice’s place was exactly as described. Great location within a short drive to the town of Leesburg. Extremely clean, spacious, and serene. We loved relaxing on the back deck before hitting the town. A lot of thoughtful touches and recommendations on places to eat and things to do in the area. Their place was the perfect spot for us to spend our anniversary weekend. Would definitely stay at their place again or would recommend to friends visiting the area. Thank you Jorge and Janice!

    Amanda2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay here while in town for a wedding. The apartment had everything we needed and provided a cozy and private retreat away from the multi-day wedding festivities. Hosts were very kind and accommodating and provided great resources about things to do in the area. Beautifully updated bathroom was a treat to get ready in. Thanks very much for the provided snacks and a great stay!

Our spacious one bedroom apartment with exposed brick and a full kitchen is just minutes from dozens of wineries, breweries, antique shops, equestrian events and nature trails, with easy access to DC, Baltimore, Dulles International Airport, Potomac River and the Appalachian Trail. Come see the scenic beauty of Loudoun County and experience why it has been named one of the happiest, healthiest and highest qualities of life in the U.S.
This downstairs apartment comes complete with a full kitchen, full bathroom, full laundry (if needed for longer stays) and bedroom with a queen size bed (and two couches that pull out into twin sized beds). The apartment has a separate entrance with keypad entry for your convenience. We can stock the fridge with fresh eggs, as well as any local refreshments you may desire. We live on a small farm with 17 chickens and 2 ducks that have vibrant personalities. Let us know if you'd like to interact with them--otherwise, enjoy the eggs! As hosts, we are here to provide whatever you need, but we can also make ourselves scarce and let you enjoy your home away from home.
We live on the first small hill of the Appalachian Mountains, nearly 400 feet above Rt. 15. At different times of the year, this gives us a view of the towns in the valley below, or beautiful, enveloping foliage and lush vegetation. The neighborhood is quiet, and neighbors generally keep to themselves. Cars use our road periodically, but on the weekends, we also get cycling enthusiasts that use our road to train. There is plenty of room in our driveway to park your vehicle, and the area is very safe.
  • Kate, Brian and Viking were gracious hosts. The apartment was large, comfortable and clean. The welcome bottle of wine and farm fresh eggs were a great touch!

    Denise2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Brian was so helpful and accommodating to our check-in needs. The space was amazing and the yard was great for our canine travel companion. The eggs and note from the hosts were such a nice gesture. Totally recommend.

  • The apartment is perfect for a home base while you explore the wine/brewery country around Leesburg. In addition Brian was a great and accommodating host.

  • Stay here. Place is great and on a beautiful piece of property. Sparkling clean and well appointed. Nice touches like a local bottle of wine and all the farm fresh chicken and duck eggs you can eat. My kids loved it. Stayed here for a lacrosse tournament in Maryland and took a ferry across the river back and forth each day with no issues at all and it was a cool trip. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. Could not ask for a better experience. Would definitely come back again.

  • We had a fabulous stay at Laurelwood. The basement apartment was clean and had all the amenities. The lot itself had tons of room for our dog to run around. Kate and Brian were excellent hosts, friendly and great communicators. They even left fresh duck eggs from their "girls" in the fridge! We definitely recommend this place.

This charming upper level apartment space is perfect for a weekend getaway or a month long stay. First off, I want to say that there is no plumbing in the space but a bathroom is just 30 steps away (in the main house). Consider it luxurious glamping. Water is available for cooking, washing dishes and brushing teeth. A small kitchenette can service your cooking needs. It is heated and air conditioned. Views are amazing. Full use of patio area. Space is above a yarn studio. No pets long term.
This studio apartment is located on a small farm (3 sheep, 6 chickens) in a rural preserve near Washington, DC. Beautiful views surround the studio, with Sugarloaf Mountain nearby. Peace and quiet, a breath of fresh air and a relaxing atmosphere greet you here. Although there is no plumbing in the studio, a bathroom is just 30 steps away in the main house. Privacy and charm make up for it. You have access to the 2 acres of trees, gardens, patio, small pond and of course the views. I would prefer no animals but if you have a well behaved dog that does not sleep on furniture or beds, I will consider. When booking, please add one person for a $10 service fee. For long term stays, no pets.
We are located in an agricultural preserve so it's rural which means it's very peaceful and quiet. I have three sheep and 6 chickens (farm fresh eggs!) and three friendly dogs. Wineries and a brewery are nearby. Historic Frederick is just 15 miles away. For outdoor activities, there's hiking on Sugarloaf Mountain, bicycling on the many backroads, mountain biking at a mountain bike park, or biking on the C & O Canal (3 miles away). The Monocacy River and Potomac River and 3 miles away offering fishing, kayaking and canoeing.
  • Dalis' place was very charming and peaceful. Our host, Dalis was extremely kind and accommodating. There are a few things that were not clear from the description. It was not clear from the description that we would not receive a key to lock our belongings in the house; so we had to constantly take our valuables back and forth to the car. Also it was stated that we would have some privacy, however during the last morning of our stay, one of our hosts walked into the guest home unannounced and started coming up the stairs, all while I was scrambling to get dressed. Additionally, we did not realize from the description that we would be sharing a bathroom with two other people; anyone staying here might have to coordinate showering schedules in the morning. If the house was cleaner and the amenities like heating and air were more up to date, this would be better value. Also since the bathroom is more inaccessible, that does not justify such a high price. Also the house is older and a little renovation might make it better value for money. Dalis did mention to us that she did not have a chance to clean before we arrived there. We thought that in that case it might be appropriate for her to find someone to have it cleaned, especially since she charged a cleaning fee. When we arrived the home was dirtier than expected, but not too much. The biggest problem however was that there were ants in the dining room that we had to deal with during the entirety of our stay. To be fair, this was one of our hosts busiest weekends in her entire work-year. Overall the stay was acceptable, but not what we expected. The dogs on site were so friendly, so make sure you make time to pet them. Dalis is a very kind host and she has a restful place. If you're in the area for business that needs to be attended to swiftly and efficiently, then look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a getaway, this is a decent option!

  • Amazing place!!! Dalis’ barn is magical. It is a great option to disconnect from the busy city and connect with nature. 100% recommended.

  • Dalis' place is a paradise for a knitter, animal lover, or someone looking for a simple but comfortable retreat. There are linenes, dishes, a little fridge and a water dispenser. The bathroom and sink are in the main house, but this is very workable, and the space itself is charming and pastoral. Would be a wonderful retreat for a writer or artist or someone who just wants a change of pace. The sheep and resident dog were all charming, and the land is a georgeous slice of paradise amazingly close to the city.

  • The “apartment” was very close to the wedding venue which was very convenient. The space had a quirky cool decor. The bed is a double which was a bit tight for me and my 6’3” boyfriend. The farm itself is charming with sheep, chickens, and a friendly yellow lab. The only thing that I felt was a bit tedious was that the bathroom was inside the main house where the Airbnb owner resides. Going in to use the restroom or shower felt a little intrusive. Especially if you have to go late at night. The owner Dalis was very friendly and welcoming however.

    Mary2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The space was exactly as described and super clean! The grounds are beautiful and Dalis was super friendly and helpful.

    Katherine2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely spot, consderate host. A tall person could bruise his head on some low-hanging door and window frames -- that's the worst thing I can think of saying.

    James2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Terrific spot, especially in the warm spring weather!

    Joe2019-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • This remains one of the most peaceful inns we’ve ever stayed in. The privacy and pastoral landscape can’t be beat. We would have loved to enjoy a bonfire, but sadly the weather had other ideas. Each time we leave, we start to ask ourselves when we’re coming back.

  • Dalis was a remarkably warm and welcoming hostess, and her home was very comfortable and modern. We stayed overnight with our 2 year old to get out of the city and enjoy hiking at Sugarloaf. Dalis was very kind to our little one, and he became best buds with her big, gentle dog. Our room was well-stocked with towels, coffee, tea, extra quilts, wi-fi, and mini toiletries, the bed was comfortable, and the shower felt like a warm rain shower (with great pressure!). In the morning, Dalis greeted us with delicious coffee and my son and I enjoyed a walk around the farm, looking at the chickens and sheep, and enjoying the clean air and quiet country morning. There is a fun winery nearby that seemed very popular - lots of folks eating/drinking outside on picnic tables. We didn't visit, but plan to on future trips. We spent most of our weekend hiking the mountain and skipping rocks at a creek Dalis was kind enough to direct us to after we mentioned how much our son loves to play in them. It was an absolutely idyllic stay and we will certainly be back! This place is also great for anyone looking to hike Sugarloaf mountain, bike the countryside (Dalis is happy to pick up bikers/hikers from the MARC station that is very close by!), enjoy a romantic getaway, or just catch a break from city life and spend time in nature. Highly recommended - two thumbs up!

  • It was an absolute pleasure staying at Dalis’s place, so warm and welcoming! Everything was perfect:-)

  • Dalis has a lovely home and made my husband and I feel very comfortable during our 1-night stay. The back patio was great for a late breakfast after a run on the C&O Canal trail. It's near the Potomac and Monacacy rivers (we kayaked on both) and an easy drive to Frederick for dinner/shopping. We would happily stay there again. Next time we'll try hiking at Sugarloaf.

    Claire2016-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Dalis's home is beautiful, creative and welcoming, as is she. Set in a beautiful location, quiet and pastoral. Wonderful host. Makes you feel right at home. Thanks Dalis!

  • At the last minute, a friend and I decided to get out of DC for a few days. We came across Dalis's beautiful space and we were so pleasantly surprised by what we found. She and her adorable lab, Trapper, could have not been warmer or more welcoming. The room in her home was warm and comfortable. Dalis is an outstanding host with many thoughtful details (water, glasses, coffee and tea in your room). I look forward to many more trips in the near future. Thank you, Dalis!

    Erica2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic host! Dalis knows just when to help and when to leave you alone. Her location is a hiking mecca! Trips to Sugarloaf Mountain, Gambrills State Park, Harpers Ferry (don't miss the overlook hike), Thurmont (hiking and swimming at Cunningham Falls), C&O Canal were just the thing for getting me back to my fitness routine. The views were breathtaking. Not far from my friends and baseball in DC. Far enough away to avoid traffic and close enough to do what you wanted in DC with about an hour commute. Rest, relaxation and hiking. My pets were welcomed and felt very comfortable on her property.

    Debbie2017-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Dalis was a wonderful host! I would recommend her and her home to anyone. The only disappointment was that I had to leave.

    Robin2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience! It was very lovely, Dalis’s taste and sense of color is charming and comfortable. There were thoughtful amenities and happy dogs and a hot tub! Who could ask for more??

  • We had an amazing stay at Charles and Amber's lovely home. We couldn't have asked for a better space to decompress after a long week of midterms and tests. The pictures don't do the property justice! We hope to be back again. Thanks for everything, Charles!

  • We rented the place for a work related retreat for an opportunity to bond and relax. The place is a separate house next to the host's main house and there is very private. We are very happy with the set up - space was enough for all 10 of us to fit in comfortably. All the amenities are as accurately described from the listings. The host was friendly and helpful. Response time was quick. Thank you!

  • Charles + Amber were excellent hosts. There property is beautiful and the apartment is spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when in the area! They are also very accommodating and friendly. Additionally they provided lots of water and other snacks/food to make the trip easier and more enjoyable. Amber even had coffee ready to be brewed for our first morning. A+

The spacious apartment for two is situated above my art studio and accessed via indoor stairs to second floor. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed, seating & dining area with magnificent views of the mountains in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. The bathroom and galley kitchen are located on the first floor adjacent to my art studio. My art studio is off-limits to guests other than as a pass-through to the galley kitchen and bathroom. We provide fresh towels and linens, basic condiments and snacks. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. The galley kitchen, located on the first floor, is equipped with coffee & tea supplies; a small refrigerator and microwave. PLEASE NOTE: The galley kitchen is not for cooking and meal preparation as in a full kitchen. It is for heating simple food and drink items in the microwave. The bathroom has a shower. Artists and writers may find it a perfect setting for inspiration and meditations on their creative projects. Meads Run Farm is near the Potomac River in western Loudoun County, Virginia's wine and horse country, minutes from the C&O Canal bike and hike path (on which you can bicycle to Harpers Ferry, WV only 12 miles away). Bring your hiking shoes and backpack for a day hike on the Appalachian Trail, minutes from our home. Country fairs, festivals, farm and arts tours are other key features of this area. The historic towns of Leesburg, VA and Frederick, MD are only 20 minutes away by car. We both love the outdoors and look forward to sharing our enthusiasm and knowledge about the area, including our interest in local agriculture & John's organic vegetable garden; native plants, birds and other wildlife.
For some of our favorite restaurants, vineyards, points of interest, please go to the Guidebook section. Please note that grocery stores are one-half hour away in either Frederick, MD or Leesburg, VA if you wish to stock up on prepared foods and basics. There is a 7-11 convenience store in the Town of Lovettsville. We live in a rural area which still has horse and cattle farms, open space and small villages scattered through the county. Lovely country roads can lead you to a vineyard, an arts festival, a farmers' market, local musicians playing in a brew pub or cafe. Lovettsville hosts an Oktoberfest in late September, nearby Waterford has its well-known annual Waterford Fair in October; the Western Loudoun Artists Studio Tour is held every June; events at Morven Park in Leesburg are close enough to consider during your stay; and much more.
  • Suzanne met us and showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The upstairs apartment was roomy and comfortable. The location is very quiet and secluded. Close to the excellent Creeks Edge Winery and farm to table dining in Lovettsville.

  • I wish I could have stayed longer. Not only was the Apt clean, cozy and comfortable, but Suzanne and John were incredible hosts and two of the nicest people I've ever met. The property is beautiful and quiet. You have to drive down a dirt road to get there (big plus for me) but it's only a few minutes to get to town where I had a great dinner and beer. Around the house are a couple walking paths through the trees. John and Suzanne told me about other great hikes in the area, but unfortunately I had work commitments and ran out of time. When I got back in the evening though, I sat on the porch and read, all of the stars visible overhead. The apartment itself was spacious- I was there on my own but it'd be more than enough room for a couple. There were a few chairs, a dining table and a big comfy bed. Everything was clean and I slept better than I have in months. Hard to describe how much I enjoyed staying here and really hoping I'll be able to come back soon when I have more time.

    Steven2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful, relaxing stay! I can't wait to come back for another visit. The apartment was perfect, just as described only more comfortable and peaceful than you could imagine. I was surprised by the beautiful sunrise view from the bed each morning! The trail was awesome, and there were so many birds. The property is secluded and you really feel like you've gotten away from it all. Suzanne was a perfect host - helpful but not in the way :) She welcomed me with some tasty homemade yogurt and tea and some other things in the fridge! I can't wait to return.

    Jane2016-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I enjoyed every moment we spent here. Suzanne, her husband John, and daughter Kaila (who was visiting from college) were wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were very responsive to messages and extremely accommodating when it came to helping us and answering questions. They took the time to get to know us on a personal level when we performed a few songs for them on their porch and they are SO much fun to hang out with! The property is beautiful--the nature trail, the house/studio itself, The horses/stables, etc. There is so much peace, serenity, and good energy at this place. It is exactly what we were looking for as a little get-away and it definitely brought us much closer in our relationship. We will DEFINITELY be back! We absolutely loved it. Highly recommended.

    Amanda2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time staying here. The room was very clean and comfortable. The galley kitchen with a fridge was perfect for what we needed it for, which was somewhere to keep stuff for breakfast and sandwich supplies. The bathroom was also very nice and comfortable. The property is very beautiful and there are many great views. It is about 30 minutes driving from Harper's Ferry which is where we were at during the day. Suzzane and her husband were both great hosts, and always asked if we needed anything extra. They brought us delicious fresh cherry tomatoes from the their garden at one point. Overall great place to stay.

    Sebastian2015-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • My fiancé and I chose to stay with Suzanne on our visit to Harper’s Ferry. As you enter the property you feel like you are going into the back country area, but are greeted by a secluded, yet beautiful house. When we arrived Suzanne welcomed us with open arms and showed us around. She had great recommendations of restaurants and things to do. We initially didn’t think it would take more than a day to visit, however we quickly learned how wrong we were. Suzanne’s house is meant for the outdoorsy type who wants to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life and come to a calm place. They have a walking trail from the house. The guest house is on the second floor of her studio. We had an amazing time staying at Suzanne's place and slept in an extra hour due to how peaceful the area was. The next morning she had homemade yogurt as well as steel cut oats that were delicious. Her house is very close to Harper’s Ferry as well many wineries. We would definitely visit again.

  • We were so happy that we chose this AirBnb. Charming house, beautiful location, wonderful hosts. We are looking forward to going again.

    Joseph2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • I chose this airbnb because of itslocation. I'd stay there again because of its charm. The apartment is located about 2 miles from the C&O bike/tow path and the additional cycling is well worth it. Nestled among woods and fields, the apartment is a delight. It is light, airy, spacious and private. If you're up early you can lie in bed and listen to the birds as you watch the sun rise through the mists that hover over the Potomac, a mile away. The hosts, John and Suzanne couldn't be nicer. They are generous, kind and helpful. For this trip, it was a perfect stop on the bike path. Another time it could be a wonderful romantic getaway.

  • A great, clean, and comfortable place stocked with great snacks and other welcome touches. The hosts are the real prize: professional, super responsive, and with a true knack for making visitors feel welcome. Very much recommended for a quiet get away with plenty of nearby activities.

  • These guys are super accommodating and own a very lovely property. We will definitely be returning. The grounds offer so much you don't need to leave other than to get food. Our dog played all day with their wonderful dogs. A serene slice of paradise!

  • We had a long weekend away from the city. Our stay here was amazing. If you have any questions the hosts are easy to reach and quick to answer. This stay exceeded all of our expectations. The location is close to so many hiking trails and nice places to swim, not to mention the pool on the premises. If you're willing to do some driving, DC is not far and neither are many historical areas, not to mention caverns. We had a very busy, very awesome long weekend here, and ended every night watching some Netflix or Hulu and falling asleep in front of the beautiful, large TV before one of us inevitably woke up and sent the rest to bed. We can not wait to come back.

  • Stone Leaf Cottage is welcoming and stylishly appointed for a relaxing stay. It is comfortable and the hosts are incredibly accommodating. We needed a place after a 6 day trek across the country and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and regroup!

    Cecilia2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • One of, if not the best Airbnb experience I have had. Not only were the grounds amazing with water falls, zen gardens and perfectly manicured grounds, but the inside was as clean as it gets. They provided amazing snacks, fruit, wine, water, the list goes on and on. The towels were amazingly soft and the hosts themselves were extremely nice when greeting and welcoming us to their property.

    Justin2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had a wonderful time at Stone Leaf Farm! The guesthouse was comfortable and filled with all kinds of small amenities like a fridge and pantry stocked with snacks and drinks. The property itself was very peaceful with a waterfall right outside the door and a pretty garden and woods surrounding the house. We really enjoyed swimming in the pool, taking a peek at chickens, and sitting around a fire in the evening. Zach was a great host who really helped us get the most out of our time. He is clearly committed to making his guests' stay perfect and provided us with lots of tips on what there is to do in the area. I'm only sorry we didn't have enough time to take the kayaks out for a spin!

    Bansri2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect weekend get away for us (husband, self and dog). Surrounded by beautiful trees, listening to the waterfall, enjoying the grounds and relaxing by the pool. Zach/Andrew/Marc go above and beyond to provide all the finishing touches. Might sound odd, but they have an amazing television and we enjoyed having a leisurely night watching a movie. You can enjoy their property or take advantage of the many local activities like hiking & tubing. We had a fantastic meal at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farms and highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

  • My boyfriend and I can't stop talking about how lovely the place -- and hosts -- were here. The house was so peaceful, the room comfortable, and the tasty treats Vickie whipped up were just delish. They gave us great recommendations, and even a lift to town for our bike ride home. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • Enjoy gourmet breakfasts, amazing hospitality, a game room to keep you occupied on bad weather days or nights in, and perfect proximity to wine country. We loved every minute of our stay. Vickie and Richard also accommodated my gluten free need without any issues. We intend to go back with friends.

  • Vickie and Richard went well above and beyond what we could have ever anticipated. It was a 5+ star experience from the time we arrived til the time we left. They made us feel like long time friends of the family, enjoying much conversation with them throughout, as well as the nighttime bonfire. Truly an amazing experience, and the love of what they do resounded throughout our stay. We highly recommend their place to anyone!!!

    Rich2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Accommodations were luxurious! Vickie and Richard were gracious hosts, attending to every detail to give us the most restful stay we have had in years! Vickie's cooking was superb and abundant! We recommend visiting their lovely home nestled among the rolling Virginia hills. Look forward to swimming in the pool, by day and toasting s'mores by Richard's bonfire in the evening. A soak in the glorious hot tub is a perfect way to end the day!

  • I cam here for my 35th birthday with 5 friends, and all of us had an amazing time! We loved the gorgeous, historic location and the hosts, who were very warm and welcoming. The location was close to vineyards, antique shops, Historic Leesburg and the outlets, and we took advantage of the situation! We also spend some time exploring Rocklands itself; the estate is incredible and we enjoyed driving around and seeing the sites. We would highly recommend this guest house to families and groups of friends looking for a fun, relaxing trip!

    Alyson2017-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Talk about a gem! Wow! My girlfriends and I booked Libby's guest house on her family's property for a wine tasting ladies weekend and we could not have been more pleased with the level of hospitality, cleanliness and amazing location! Their farm and home are a slice of paradise from the moment the sun rises over the gorgeous, rolling misty fields to the moment you lay your head on the comfortable beds at night. Their home is conveniently situated just minutes from Historic downtown Leesburg, gorgeous antique shops, dozens of wineries and some awesome breweries. We were welcome to walk the grounds and enjoy the views at every turn- don't miss this gorgeous Loudoun county property for your next visit to the area! Many thanks for a wonderful visit!

  • Elizabeth and Nick were wonderful hosts and the grounds are lovely. The front porch with a view over the fields was a delightful place to hang out and enjoy some quiet time in the countryside.

    Barnaby2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriends and I stayed here because we had a wedding in the area - it was awesome to wake up to the fog resting on the farmland and sit on the porch or in the living room and drink coffee. We went for walks and saw calfs and their mamas and families of groundhogs. The grounds were beautiful - it was like sitting in an English garden. There were plenty of towels and paper goods - the house was well stocked. AND, the beds were comfy. :)

    Nicole2018-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time relaxing on the large deck of this nicely appointed house.

    Nick2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Quarters at Rockland are located in the most gorgeous setting; the gardens and beautiful old trees surrounding the home made for a very serene stay. The house was very comfortable with every amenity we could've asked for, and check-in/out was a breeze. Don't miss the opportunity to have a cup of morning coffee on the bench under a centuries old tree surrounded by wild strawberries, or to take a walk down the nature trail to see the Potomac!

Detached Guesthouse with private entrance. Completely renovated and refreshed for your family. Close to the downtown restaurants and shops, Morven Park, Cornwall Medical Campus, Heritage Hall Health Care Center and the Loudoun County Courthouse. A great home base for all Leesburg and Loudoun county have to offer. Our Guesthouse is exclusively offered through Airbnb and is not available as a long-term rental property.
Comfortable living room with flat screen TV, full well equipped kitchen and dining area. Two spacious bedrooms with full bath upstairs. We offer parking on the property for one standard size vehicle and the neighborhood has ample street parking.
The neighborhood is located in an established section of town near Ida Lee and Morven Park. Our little bungalow was constructed in 1910 and the guesthouse was built in the 1980s. The property is 3/4 of an acre. It is quiet and peaceful with nice neighbors. On snowy winter days our street is plowed first because we are near a hospital. Easy access to highways, bike trails, and all that Loudoun County has to offer.
  • We had such a nice time at Howard’s place. The house is so cozy, and offers great views of the yard and garden. Howard is very responsive and provided such generous hospitality. If I am back in Leesburg, I will definitely stay again.

    Kelly2019-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • AMAZING! This cozy, adorable home feels like a fairy tale cottage. I think the pictures are what sold me to book this place and I was impressed to find that it even looked better in person! There were four of us that stayed here (very comfortably) for a wedding in Landsdowne, VA and the commute there from the house was very easy. You are also just a short drive away from downtown Leesburg and it is the cutest, coolest little town so be sure to explore it! The local diner had an amazing breakfast and if you like pie and cookies then you must go to Mom's Apple Pie Bakery! Howard was one of the best hosts I've had through AirBnb. He is very sweet and accommodating. Our communication with him was excellent and he was very flexible with the check-in and check-out times. He even checked in with a quick text during our stay to see how everything was going. 5-star host! Will definitely return.

  • We stayed in Howards guest house for NYE weekend while visiting family in the area. The guest house is lovely, beautifully appointed clearly well maintained and with great amenities. This will be my go to spot when coming to Virginia to visit with family.

  • We loved staying at Howard’s!! What a perfect, well-appointed guest house. Very comfortable for my husband and I, my parents and our 10-month-old son. Lovely grounds as well and within walking distance to downtown historic Leesburg. Great place for families!

    Cameron2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • The guesthouse is perfect for a short or longer stay. The location is great for checking out Ida Lee park and it’s walking distance to downtown Leesburg. We had a great stay and appreciated the excellent hospitality.

  • Perfect, private cottage in the ideal location. We are a family of four that travel frequently. This is perhaps the most ideal rental we have ever enjoyed! While the setting is peaceful and quiet, we were only a few minutes walk to our girls' lacrosse games in Morven Park. Forget staying in a hotel with doors slamming all night, kids running up and down the halls...This rental boasts a private back patio, full kitchen, off-street parking, expansive bedrooms, and ample space for the four of us the spread out. This is a quiet street where we slept very soundly and were truly able to relax. We drove into Leesburg, but it is certainly a walk or bike ride away in good weather. Also, you are about a 5 minute easy drive from the Leesburg Outlet center. I can imagine this would be a great starting point for a girls weekend or romantic getaway to the VA wine country.

    Liz2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very clean and nicely decorated. The hosts are responsive and helpful. The location is a quick drive downtown (in extreme temps) and a nice walk when the weather is good. The property is on a beautifully landscaped property.

  • This is a great little AirBnB nestled in Northern Virginia farm country. The house was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. I would definitely check out the recommended vineyard near by, it was beautiful with great outdoor and indoor space. It is walkable as mentioned, it’s about 8 minutes down a county road which I thought was perfectly fine and most will agree, but know that there is no sidewalk so if you’re uncomfortable with that you can drive and there is plenty of parking.

  • We loved our stay at Reagan’s cottage! She was an extremely helpful host, answering all of our questions and providing us with tips prior to our stay. The cottage was beautiful and all of the little touches that Reagan added were lovely. We would definitely want to stay at the cottage again and highly recommend it!

  • We loved the newly renovated cottage with it's cozy & warm decor and updates that met all of our needs! It was also conveniently located near a very nice winery. What else could you ask for? Enjoy your stay & don't forget to pack your cheese, crackers, fruit, & snacks for the winnery.

  • Have you watched HGTV? This inside is stylish and the king size bed to comfy. I mean it looks like it is straight off a tv show, scored major brownie points with my girlfriend with booking a place like this. The land was spacious and the inside was big enough for 4 people to hang out and relax. The water does have a scent because it is well water. But the awesomeness of this house is off the charts! I would 100 percent stay again! 10 out of 10!

  • This wasn’t our first time staying here and it definitely won’t be our last! This adorable little cottage is perfect for a weekend get away. It is nicely renovated and decorated and has everything you need for a perfect weekend. We also love it’s proximity to Creeks edge winery and Roots 657 (best burgers ever). Thank you again Reagan and Donnie!

  • We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It has ample space for a couple and child. Reagan has lots of good advice for activities to fill more than a weekend. You can also just relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. The cottage is close to a great selection of restaurants in Lovettsville. We hiked and ziplined near Harpers Ferry. We will be back.

  • Vickie and Richard provided incredible hospitality, going over and beyond what would be reasonably expected. It's a gorgeous setting, beautiful house, everything one could want for a weekend get away. We look forward to a return visit.

  • I did bot know what a true 5 star experience was like until staying at Vickie B&B. Hands down best experience I've ever had. Upon arrival she greeted us with wine and a cheese plate. Gave us access to her full home, pool, jacuzzi, fire pit and all! Spectacular views! In the morning she baked us apple turn overs and then a full homemade breakfast- simply incredible- and did i mention the champagne! Vickie herself was so kind and personable. She gave us the space to make it a romantic experience but also was happy to talk and provide us with anything we needed. I cannot wait yo go back with friends and family to this amazing home.

  • We had an amazing stay for our first wedding anniversary! Vickie and Richard went out of their way to make our weekend special- we were greeted with a lovely snack tray, and provided with excellent suggestions for things to do and see in the area. The rooms were gorgeous and they made us feel at home with full access to the pool, hot tub, and several sitting rooms throughout the home. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal and we were also spoiled with cakes, cookies, coffee, and treats throughout the weekend! Our favorite part was when Vickie hand made and packed us a special picnic lunch for us to enjoy at the wineries (for a small additional fee)- it was tasty and the perfect addition to this beautiful weekend! We've already booked another stay and can't wait to return.

  • We had a wonderful overnight stay at at Vickie and Richard’s home. We were greeted with a picnic basket of fresh cheeses and fruit to take with us as we went wine tasting. We chose wineries and our dinner reservation based on their recommendations and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. In the evening, we returned home to a great bonfire, homemade cupcakes and more wine! In the morning, we woke up to great coffee, a hearty, country style breakfast and more recommendations to begin the day. We will definitely be back!

  • We stayed for a biking trip on the LoCo Ale Trail with friends. We had read great reviews online and the home and hosts, Vickie and Richard, are truly wonderful! They were flexible with our arrival time and were easy to communicate with regarding our plans. They also gave us great tips for dining, events, and wineries to visit. We were greeted with offers of coffee since it was morning and they had wine, cheese, and snacks when we returned after biking. They also had a fire in the fire pit with freshly baked cookies in the evening for us. It was great having coffee and bread or muffins by your door in the morning before a fabulous breakfast in the dining room. The house is beautiful with lots of gathering spots. The downstairs has bar and game rooms with a pub feel. The bed was very comfortable and room was lovely. Everything was great!

  • Vicki and Richard are wonderful hosts with an absolutely stunning home.....not to mention offering the finest granola east of the Mississippi ! I highly recommend you give them a try!!

  • Thank you again Vickie and Richard! This is by far the best Airbnb my husband and I have stayed in! We felt so welcomed and relaxed from the moment we arrived. From the wine and snacks on the beautiful front porch, to smores by an amazing bonfire, to coffee in bed and of course the home cooked breakfast to die for... Vickie and Richard thank you for treating us to such a special night away! We can't wait to come back!

  • Our stay with Vickie and Richard was amazing. From the moment I reached out until we left, we were taken care of. The home is beautiful and welcoming. We only wish we could have arrived earlier and stayed longer. Vickie made every moment special with unexpected touches even after we left she was sure to help me find a particular flower she had picked for the table so I could enjoy it once I got home. Incredible hospitality and care. We can't wait to go back.

    Lori2018-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Vicki and Richard means staying with friends. Outstanding hospitality, wonderful accommodations, serene setting and more all adds up to a great time and place to unwind.

    Marvin2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • My trips here should speak for my love of this place! Three times a charm they say...I say four and every time here charms! This trip was only one night with a friend and we never left the house! We had a fire, wine and good company. Played some mean games of shuffleboard and finished the trip with some great coffee, fresh apple turnovers and yummy breakfast! Never a dull moment and nothing is ever forgotten. It will restore you!

    Cassandra2017-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our second time staying with Vickie and Richard. We were honored to stay with them while my wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. If they are available for our next time in Northern VA, Vickie and Richard will be our first choice.

    Chris2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Vickie and Richard set the bar for graciousness, service and thoughtfulness in a host! Their home is lovely, even more beautiful than the photos. Everything is spotlessly clean, and very tastefully decorated, often with personal items interspersed for a "touch of home." Quality bathroom amenities are also provided, as well as plenty of fluffy towels. The bed is very comfortable (just note: the one in the "Master Suite" is high, and may require you to use the steps provided to climb in. If this is an issue, choose one of the other rooms.) The back yard is beautifully landscaped; we have used the pool on a previous visit in warm weather. The bonfire is magnificent (though this trip, the rain interfered). We have yet to use the hot tub -- but it is available. We played shuffleboard (indoor) and enjoyed the games provided on our rainy week-end -- not to mention sitting by our cozy private fireplace sipping wine that we'd purchased that day at one of the area's wineries recommended by Vickie & Richard. Alas, we had to forego stargazing on our private balcony due to the driving rain... but we shall return! Vickie & Richard''s gracious welcome, flexibility with arrival and departure times, and thoughtful little extras (including the early-morning coffee & baked goods waiting outside your door before official breakfast time!) are unrivaled by other hosts. An added extra is Vickie's delicious 3-course home-cooked breakfasts! Not to be missed... don't sleep in or you will regret it. After a weekend at this lovely retreat, you feel like you will be returning again and again to visit old friends. Vickie & Richard genuinely enjoy what they do, and that warmth shines through in how they treat their guests.

  • You should definitely stay with Vickie and Richard! They have a beautiful house in a beautiful part of Virginia, and are just great hosts on top of it.

    John2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place was fantastic! Everything was taken care of down to the mints on our nightstand and the robes for lounging. The home is beautiful and so is the view! Vickie made us an amazing breakfast. When we got there we were offered a nice cheese and fruit plate as well as a local bottle of wine. The perfect getaway from the city!

  • This house is even more beautiful in person and very spacious. Marzie was great and responded to every message as soon as possible. I loved that the house sat alone, but it was a little hard to find. The address kept sending us further down the street and their were no lights at the entrance so it was a bit harder to find.. i would definitely stay here again!

The course is only 8 1/2 miles from the home. The P.B. Dye Club is another great course and very challenging. In typical P.B. Dye fashion there are plenty of railroad ties that you can bounce your ball off on a bad shot. This is 15 miles from the house but seems closer, as it a nice country drive. Whiskey Creek Golf club is about 15 miles from the house. It is very, very nice. Very well maintained with a lot of elevation changes There is also easy access to hiking, canoeing, polo matches, winery tours, antiquing, biking or trail riding either your own or a rented horse, and public golf. We can help you find caterers to serve you meals at home, or help you find just the right restaurant for your outings. Keywords: golf, horseback riding, hiking, polo, wineries, canoeing, fishing

  • We were glad to have chosen to stay here. The home is spacious and comfortable and has ample space to spread out. (The weather was beautiful while we stayed there but this is a house that would be great for a rainy or cold day indoors). Also, the hosts were quick to respond to questions and the location is unbelievably pretty --and very private.

  • Tony and Alyse were super easy to work with...The house and property are situated on a horse farm which is absolutely beautiful. We had a group of 9 adults that stayed for a long weekend and everything went off out without a hitch. Setting was great for hangin out and just relaxing. Groceries and dining in nearby Poolsville were easily accessible - we especially enjoyed brunch at Bassett's. Fantastic vistas with lots of horses - bring some apples, they'll walk right up to the fence and let you feed them! We would absolutely stay there again -Thanks Tony and Alyse!

  • We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. The house is spacious and comfortable and the setting is amazing! So peaceful and private.

  • While this was a last-minute option for a dozen of us after our prior plans fell through, the home and location were so beautiful that I can't imagine having stayed anywhere else. If you want to enjoy a calming, bucolic weekend only an hour from DC—particularly with a large group that wants to sleep comfortably—I cannot recommend this location highly enough.

  • We had a wonderful long weekend here, and Tony and Alyse were a pleasure to deal with! The house has plenty of space and is well suited for several couples. The property and surrounding area is beautiful - great for biking and walking. We spent a lot of time cooking in the well-appointed kitchen, and on the several decks, patios and porches. Alyse asked a friend to stop by to make sure we had everything we needed the day we arrived, and, hearing the grass was a little long, arranged to have it cut. The property was a very easy trip from Washington, DC, and we would definitely come back!

  • Great hospitality, a gorgeous setting and a wonderful gathering place for our family. Close to DC but feels like a world away.

  • I celebrated my 40th birthday at Tony and Alyse's spectacular home and could not have been more pleased. I wanted a comfortable and beautiful atmosphere with easy access to Washington DC and nature. All my wishes were met including have an phenomenal dinner party in their beautiful space and plenty of places to explore and connect with my guests. I would love to stay again and strongly recommend to anyone looking for an easy access get-away that gives the feel of the country. I searched for the perfect venue for a long time and finding this place was very well worth it. If you are considering, book it as soon as you can!

  • This is a wonderful place to spend time in DMV wine country. The sunsets overlooking the pasture are worth the trip. The hosts are great, the beds are plush and the sheets are like butter, the amenities are top notch, I am talking about the sauna and message room. Their kitchens are fully stocked and have the best kind of gadgets, it made cooking breakfast at the house fun and easy. The home combines New York luxury and cowboys style with has a very personal and friendly feel. The number of activities in the area made the entire weekend enjoyable, we spent one day hiking sugarloaf and it was a great time, we also spent time out walking around the trails near the house.

  • The facility was very clean and the setup was excellent. We had some very minor issues when we arrived but the staff took care of it instantly. They were fantastic about checking in with us to make sure that the issue was resolved and that we didn't have any further issues. The location was very conveniently located close enough to town so if we needed anything we were literally 15 minutes away from all major retail stores. Also the lodge had very comfortable setting for our retreat, and BEAUTIFUL trails and open fields for us to use. All in all, amazing place and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking.

  • The place was exactly what we needed for our retreat! They had bedding and towels ready for each guest, a full kitchen stocked with the necessary tools, a chapel and comfortable beds. It was a great experience for our students! We look forward to going here again!

  • A very nice place for retreats and family gatherings. Close to DC metro area.

  • The Freedom Center was the perfect getaway from the city. Our group loved the location and the Liberty lodge. It was nestled in nature and beautiful all around. We hiked and had a wonderful time in the woods. The lodge had more than enough beds and a warm and cozy common space. It also comes with bundles of sheets and pillows and blankets and towels. Everything you need for your stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful location.

  • We rented this as an adjunct to the main house and it worked well. However it would also be lovely as a stand alone rental - very comfortable, everything you need, great location.

  • We stayed at Charles's main house and guest house for our week long annual family vacation (18 people from age 16 months to 82 years) and had a wonderful time. We experienced easy and prompt communication with Charles via text/phone/in person. The houses were very clean with lots of nice extras such as paper products, all linens/bedding/beach & bath towels, soap/shampoo/lotion, spices/coffee/sugar, etc.. The AC worked great. We enjoyed the tiki bar/pool house and the pool/spa. The pictures in the listing accurately show what is available at the houses and everything in the house was in good working order. We were 100% satisfied with the houses.

  • There was entertainment available for all ages, which was very thoughtful. The place was well-maintained, clean, and fun. The owners were available at all times for questions. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was ample sleeping space (we fit 11 very comfortably). Highly recommended. We will definitely book again.

  • This is a great house for a long weekend with a larger group. A bunch of law school friends were in town for a wedding, and we decided to stay here. The house is beautiful and has lots of nice amenities (multiple grills, basketball hoop, great big yard for lawn games, pool, etc). The beds were comfortable, the towels were soft, and everything was very clean. Charles and Amber were responsive and helpful. The house is a quick drive to various breweries, wineries and other fun things to do, but we mostly grilled and hung out at the house. It was a lovely way to reconnect, and if we are ever back in Leesburg, we would certainly stay there again.

  • This Airbnb exceeded all my expectations! Multiple TVs, a game room, internet access, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of space to easily handle our group of 11 (and more if needed). Located in a magnificent and very private location with fantastic view of the Potomac. Convenient access to wineries and train access to DC. The host was easily accessible and extremely helpful. We even had Charles and his wife over for one of our parties! And lastly, the cost-savings vs. hotel stay is well over 50% plus it allowed our group to be together while still allowing privacy if desired.

    Dennis2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • We were very pleased with both this house and the guest house. It meant all of our expectations and more. Perfect for a large group. Location was ideal for a winter family reunion.

  • Over the past decade or so we have rented 3 homes a year. Family vacations, Father/Son weekends and Penn State weekends so we have stayed at a lot of places and this is the top of the list. The amenities this home offers is amazing. My sons and I all love to cook and the kitchen in the home is amazing. I usually travel with my chef's knife, cutting board and spices but I could have left them all at home. In my mind the more the home offers, the less worry and less packing is needed and thus less stress. Charles and his wife are very pleasant and so easy going and very prompt to reply. We had 9 adults and 5 children and we all felt we had plenty of space to unwind, relax and the kids (and adults!) loved the playroom and the pool!. One of the most important things I have learned over the years is that everything probably isnt going to be perfect but more importantly its how quickly and adequately the owners respond. And respond they did. They went above and beyond to insure our stay was amazing and cant say enough about the greta job they did! Thanks!

  • If you’re looking for a lovely spacious home on beautiful acreage then you found the right place! Seven good friends spent a few nights to reconnect and it was more then we expected. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms with high quality sheets and towels. Plenty of outdoor activities like kayaking and games for inside play. We’re already making plans to come back!
