Perfect for couples and up to two well behaved dogs are welcome.
  • Leslie’s cottage does what it says on the tin, it’s locality to Dulverton is fantastic with a pleasant 5 mins stroll along river bank into an extremely beautiful little town with all the amenities you will require. Thoroughly recommended.

  • Cottage as described and situated in a great location for exploring Exmoor. Dulverton has plenty of shops and eateries. We had a great stay but do think the cottage would benefit from some updating (decor a bit tired). The bed is a bit modest in size for those of above average height. We would be happy to return for another stay.

Number 38 is a cosy cottage offering B & B in the heart of Dulverton, a beautiful small town in the Exmoor National Park. The area is stunning whatever the season and the cottage is a perfect base for exploring Exmoor, whether you simply want to walk from the cottage and stride across the Moor or simply hang out and enjoy the cafes, restaurants and independent shops. Tarr Steps, Dunkery Beacon and Dunster are just a few miles away. A full continental breakfast is available at no extra charge.
The double room is light and airy, with morning sunshine and is very quiet at night. The double bed is new and the en-suite recently modernised with WC, washbasin and shower. I have provided tea and coffee etc but you are most welcome to use the kitchen. As the only guests the cottage is very peaceful. You are also welcome to use the courtyard garden.
  • Linda was a fantastic host, she gave us knowledge on the local area and the place was very clean and modern. The location was perfect for exploring exmoor. If you have access to a car you can explore tar steps, Lynton and lymouth, porlock and watersmeet. All of these locations have fantastic walks and views. If we are back we will definately stay here again.

Delightful two up, two down terraced cottage situated near the centre of the picturesque town of Dulverton. Ideally placed for exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby North Devon Coast. Excellent local amenities. Parking space for two cars available.
The cottage is situated in a very quiet lane just off the Dulverton centre. It's a no through road so only traffic that has business in Chapel Street or Millham Lane comes down.
  • Andy was extremely friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and where to explore for our bike trips. Lovely cottage, very quiet, and having a parking space for our car was a very welcome bonus. 10/10 would recommend and stay there again.

  • I compact cottage in the centre of Dulverton, a picturesque village on the edge of Exmoor. Great as a base that get out and about and explore the local area and the delights of Devon and the National Park.

  • We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Cornwall. The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished which gave the place a welcoming feel. The location was perfect for a short stopover (although we could have happily stayed longer). Dulverton is a beautiful place and very well equipped. The cottage is right in the centre of the village so a nice break from having to drive. Hope to come again sometime.

  • Andy was a great host. He left clear instructions and was thoughtful about parking. The cottage was in a perfect location; close to the delights of Dulverton and quiet. It is simply furnished and equipped which was perfect for us. He lives close by and was on hand if we needed him but left us to ourselves.

  • This is a lovely space in the heart of Dulverton, just behind the 'main' street (Dulverton being a small place!). Despite this, and it being a bank holiday weekend, parking was easy even though there isn't any dedicated space linked to the cottage. One of us parked just up the road from the cottage, and I found a spot a little further out. Four adults, one tiny baby, and a medium dog fitted throughout very well and my partner and I, as new parents, particuarly appreciated the Lavazza coffee waiting for us on arrival... We went for some lovely walks up behind the Church and refreshing pints in the Bridge Inn. We plan to be back at some point!

Wisteria Cottage is a cosy weekend B & B in the heart of the picturesque town of Dulverton, situated on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park. The one double room is in a private annexe, so you can come and go as you please. The room is warm, quiet and features an en-suite shower and wc. Breakfast is included in the price, featuring homemade artisan breads and you can choose between the traditional Full English and other cooked breakfasts such as Eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros.
The fact we only cater for one party of guests at a time means that the atmosphere is very laid back – we want our guests to have a really relaxing stay. We take our time in preparing breakfast just the way the guests want it and the guests can take their time to enjoy it.
Dulverton is the perfect base for exploring all that Exmoor and the surrounding areas have to offer. The town itself has a selection of good pubs, restaurants and cafes, so regardless of whether you have been for an all day hike, a 50 mile bike ride or you’ve just been browsing the local shops, you will not be short of choice for places to satisfy your appetite or quench your thirst. There are plenty of independent shops where you can buy everything from locally produced cakes and pasties to gifts, clothing and items for the home. There is also a supermarket for those essentials. Once you leave the town, you can then enjoy the scenery that Exmoor is renowned for; from the exposed high moors to secluded wooded valleys, fast flowing rivers and the spectacular cliffs on the north coast. There are plenty of picturesque villages and small towns, together with a variety of attractions suitable for all ages and interests.

  • Wisteria cottage, a total gem of a room, tucked down a tiny dead end lane, a blink and you’ll miss it type location. A lovely cosy and well appointed room, the tea tray came with amazing home made chocolate flapjack! Breakfast was fantastic, really good full English topped off by seriously good freshly made that morning home made bread of two types. Cracking host, very accommodating, we were able to check in early (as attending a wedding locally) which was very much appreciated and made our stay a great deal easier.

Buchan Cottage is named after John Buchan, author of "The Thirty Nine Steps", and there are 39 steps from the road level up to the private sunbathing terrace in the garden. The cottage is a 5 minute walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants of Dulverton, and a short drive or a longer hike to the woods and moors of Exmoor National Park. We are very well equipped and comfortable, with a wood burning stove for winter evenings. We welcome dogs, so bring yours and come for a wonderful stay!
Wonderfully positioned on the edge of Dulverton, we are well placed to explore the whole of Exmoor, and yet it is a short stroll home from the pub or restaurant at night - no need for designated drivers here!
Dulverton is a uniquely friendly small town. It has 2 deli's, a wonderful second hand bookshop, gift shops, boutiques and a gents outfitters and many more small independent shops........England as it used to be! The famous "Woods" bar and restaurant is a must - multiple winner of "National Wine Pub of the Year", our guests always recommend a meal here, and another at "The Bridge", a quintessential traditional English pub, serving the delicious "Exmoor Ale". Tongdam Thai Restaurant has a lovely garden terrace, strung with fairy lights for summer, and a cosy woodburner for winter nights, you can even take your dog with you!
  • We loved Dulverton! The bedrooms in the house were lovely. We brought the dogs and found plenty of walks and places to eat where the dogs could come in too!

We booked our wedding venue whilst visiting Dulverton and we have recommended your cottage to family and friends to stay in during the wedding! A bottle of red and a cake was left for us both which was lovely. Must needed weekend away enjoying the local pubs and walks!

  • Very comfy and clean cottage. Although property is dog friend, for those who need a garden for their dogs, there is not one. If you are visiting without a dog you will not be disappointed!

  • Had an amazing long weekend away for me and my partners anniversary, Jennie place is simply stunning over looking a flowing river and woods. The cottage is in a perfect location just 4 min walk from Dulverton center and 4 min walk to the start of a good hike to the Tarr Steps. After a long hike cuddling up next to the fire with a glass of wine was perfect. Will definitely be returning.

Our house is located in the beautiful town of Dulverton. The house has recently been modernised and was previously a dairy. Some of the furniture has changed since taking the photos. It has a bathroom and shower room downstairs as well as two good sized bedrooms. Upstairs is an open plan living room, kitchen and dining room. Towels and bedding are provided. There is on road parking only. There is no garden but the house is next to the Church Yard and on the edge of Exmoor.
Dulverton is a delightful small town in the Barle Valley on the southern side of Exmoor and is also known as Exmoor’s Southern Gateway. Dulverton has a wide selection of shops, cafes, award winning restaurants and pubs. On the whole these are run by independent traders. If you plan to eat out in the town it is advisable to book, as the restaurants do get very busy. Close by you will find Tarr Steps which is a medieval clapper bridge over the River Barle, iron age hill forts and a castle. For further information on Dulverton Town Council website is very useful:
  • A beautiful, peaceful, cottage with a very modern interior, 1-minute from the centre of Dulverton. The bedrooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms. The Kitchen/Sitting Room are on the upper-storey whilst the bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. The village has all the amenities you need. There are some lovely, individual shops in Dulverton and we ate twice at The Bridge Inn. Would certainly recommend and would love to return next year.

The flat at Brimblecombe is a comfortable quiet retreat in the centre of Dulverton, the gateway to Exmoor. It is close to award winning Woods Wine Bar, the Bridge Inn and all the shops and cafes. There are lovely walks from the centre of Dulverton but only 10 minutes drive to the moor where there are stunning views with red deer and Exmoor ponies. Spectacular North Devon Coast 45mins away.

Jane is truly the host with the most, and was so kind during our stay, offering helpful advice. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you so much!

  • A very comfortable stay and a great location. Thank you, Jane.

  • We loved staying at Jane's place. It was sparklingly clean. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The shower was excellent. Flat is spacious. Location is excellent for exploring Exmoor and is a stone's throw from an excellent pub! Jane is an excellent host too.

Our welcoming cosy well equipped cottage, set right in the heart of Dulverton, with great pubs and restaurants and stunning surroundings, with off street parking. Well behaved dogs welcome.
    It's peacefull and relaxing!
    Friendly and helpful
  • Great cottage, well equipped, great location, with added convenience of a garage (note you won’t get a large car in due to narrow nature of lane). For stays of a week or longer, no washing machine is an inconvenience, but there is no yard to dry them so no point (there is a rack that hooks onto door which is fine to allow hand wash). Definitely one of the better properties we have stayed in.

  • Really perfect spot within the village and a super cosy and comfortable stay!

    Danielle2019-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful stylish space well located in the centre of dulverton. Everything that you need and more! We would definitely recommend the Thai restaurant!

  • Really clean and well presented cottage. Great value and very well located.

    Ian2019-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cottage right in the heart of Dulverton ( which has been a favourite place of ours for twenty years ) with the bonus of a garage. An exceptionally clean property.

    Sue2018-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is excellent, spotless clean, well kept and very cosy. It is right in the centre of the village and the garage is a bonus for parking. Andy was great with communicating, everything was explained and well thought out. Loved it. If you are undecided....just book. I know we will be going back soon.

    Louise2019-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous, cosy cottage in a great location. Really nicely decorated, beautifully clean and comfortable beds. Dulverton is a great base for Exmoor with decent places to eat.

    Rob2019-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Andy's cottage in Dulverton. It was a perfect place to stay for our family - two adults, a small child and a small dog - for a few days in the beautiful village of Dulverton. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was unbeatable - tucked away around a corner, just a few seconds from the very centre of Dulverton but very quiet. The village is gorgeous, and had several wonderful cafes, pubs and restaurants which we made the most of. We will be back next time we're in Devon!

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families, big groups and up to 2 dogs. The cottage is centrally heated and also has log burners for that cosy feeling. It is 5 minutes walk from Dulverton town pubs and restaurants so park up at the end of the day and relax; no need to worry about whose turn to drive. There is a riverside garden on the other side of the road for use from Easter - September, great for a relaxing lunch and total peace.
There is a cosy sitting room with log burner, a separate dining room and a kitchen. A bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs. There are many places to visit on Exmoor eg Dunster Castle, Tarr Steps, Wimbleball lake for water activities, Lynton and Lynmouth, also snowdrop valley in February. The walking is fantastic with moorland and coastal areas, you can walk from the front door. Dulverton itself has a variety of shops, an art gallery, Exmoor National Park Headquarters and visitor centre and heritage centre to visit.
Dulverton is a thriving small town in the Somerset side of Exmoor. There are lovely welcoming pubs and restaurants within the town and also further afield, if you are only visiting for the weekend and want to eat out you may want to book a table in advance. It is within easy reach of the coast and less than an hour from Exeter city which is a great place to visit.
  • Lovely cottage. You can not park outside so park behind the police station(off the road in front of the Bridge Inn) From there you can take a path along the stream to Northmoor Road - about 5 minutes walk to the cottage.

    Christine2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely picturesque cottage which is comfortable and easy to make home for the weekend. Cottage was even nicer in real life than on the pictures. Would definitely book again!

    Matthew2018-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • The home is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Read the house book! I did not, and found things out the hard way! The large garden is across the rd and next to the river. The children loved the rooms and played hide and seek! We made friends and got lost in enjoying Dulverton so we didnt make it to sites in the end. Anstey is nearby where horseriding came highly recommended. We ate at the Bridge Inn and the staff there were very helpful. The local mechanics got my car started for free and everyone was generally very nice and friendly. I fell ill and the GP saw me no probs. I also found the other side of Town with wild horses etc. Certainly a lot to explore in Dulverton!

  • Lovely characterful house with plenty of space for 6 people. Close to town and the river and also with a lovely garden. Plenty to do locally and a great base for discovering the area. Good communication from the owners .

    Matthew2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage in great location for Dulverton town, only minutes walk from shops and pubs. Nice walks locally, great places to eat. Communication was perfect with hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks!

    Elaine2019-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cracking cottage, very well equipped with a cosy, home-away-from-home feel. Excellent location with various short walks from the cottage itself and better ones still within a short drive. Jo and Gary are very helpful and quick to respond to queries. Highly recommended.

Travel cot and highchair. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. This characteristic, 15th-century cottage with its thatched roof and unusual feature of terracotta tiled exterior make this a unique holiday destination. Although having all the old charm outside, internally the cottage has been finished to a very good standard and provides a comfortable and convenient interior. The semi-detached cottage is situated in the Exmoor town of Dulverton not far from the banks of the River Barle. So, whether you want to wander into the town centre, enjoy one of the local pubs and restaurants, or sit by the river and watch the world pass by, all this can be done without having to step foot in the car. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on Exmoor and many other places to visit to make a memorable holiday. The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watersmeet Gorge (NT), valley of the rocks and the funicular cliff railway are close by. The West Somerset Railway is worth a visit for those with an interest in steam engines. Dunster Castle (NT) and village, with its beautiful terraced gardens, Deer Park and Mill will make for an interesting day out as well as Porlock Weir. There are beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor for all to enjoy. Shop, pub and restaurant 10 yards. Free WiFi
  • This cottage really is a lovely place to stay. We hired it for a family weekend and it suited us perfectly. The house has a lovely large living area with a log fire and a great dining room. The kitchen isn't big but it is very well equipped and everything was so clean. The bedrooms are small but the beds are comfy and there was plenty of room. One thing to note if you are travelling with children - only one of the bedrooms will take a travel cot. There is no garden or outdoor space at the property but we had 2 lovely day trips out which I can highly recommend - one to Tarr Steps where there is a great pub and the other to Wimbleball Lake which are both perfect with kids. Dulverton is particularly lovely too. The house is next door to The Bridge pub which is great. I can highly recommend this property.

  • Lovely impressive place, super clean and comfortable. Next door to everything

    Mark2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at the Boot over the Bank Holiday. The rustic, historic cottage was beautiful, with a wonderfully large living area and well equipt kitchen. The location of the house was perfect, right next door to the bridge pub and the green bank of the River Barle which we enjoyed sitting by in the evenings. We went on a lovely circular walk of Dulverton which started almost next to the house, one day which was lovely, if a bit steep at points! The cottage was full of quirks and period features, we thoroughly enjoyed our sunny stay.

Riverside stylish holiday cottage at the gateway to Exmoor just a stroll from the vibrant town of Dulverton in Somerset
The three bedroom accommodation is spacious and open plan, stylish and well equipped. With quality furnishing and exacting housekeeping standards, Trout Cottage is like a luxury boutique hotel but with the benefit of self-catering in a home from home. We hope the thoughtful finishing touches will surpass your expectations so you will want to return time and time again! The versatile layout of the cottage with a twin or king size option and a separate dining room which also doubles as a games room and dog hotel makes it an ideal holiday let for couples, families, singles and friends.... as well as being heaven for dogs! For romantics who want to walk back from an Exmoor pub, be amazed by stars in a dark sky and snuggle in front of a log fire. For adventurers who fancy exploring Exmoor’s landmarks, discover its unspoilt beaches and enjoy a full range of activities from fishing and kayaking, to horse riding and red deer safaris. For seekers of peace who want to park up the car, enjoy cottage life, unwind and recharge. There is lots to see and do or just enjoy doing nothing in a cosy cottage immersed by beauty and the hypnotic burbling of the river.
Dulverton is the gateway to Exmoor with its unspoilt moorland, valleys, woodland and wildlife stretching to a dramatic coastline rich in legend. Exmoor National Park has its headquarters here and under Europe’s very first International Dark Sky Reserve so you can wonder freely at the universe and maybe be amazed by a meteor shower. Within Exmoor there are the tallest trees, the highest cliffs and the highest number of wild Red Deer in England. Native Exmoor ponies live freely among almost 250 species of bird and over 1000 different flowering plants and grasses. There are over 4,000 archaeological sites representing some 8,000 years of history. Exmoor is a beautiful, accessible and often overlooked part of the country. Whether you’re visiting Snowdrop Valley in early spring, wild swimming or exploring beaches in the summer, walking though ancient woodlands followed by a cream tea, stargazing by the campfire in autumn, going back in time on the steam train to Dunster or experiencing twinkling Dulverton by Starlight in December, this is an all year round destination that offers something for everyone whatever the weather.
  • Truly wonderful cottage! Has everything you need for a great holiday. Highlights were dog walks down to the village in the mornings, visit to the Tarr Steps and Valley of the Rocks and dinner at Woods pub in Dulverton. Our dog loved swimming in the river and streams too. Highly recommend.

In the Summer, sit outside in your own garden space and enjoy a cold glass of local cider. There are plenty of local walks, riding and watersports. Woodleigh is perfect for a romantic trip to the country or a family break with up to two children. In the winter, cosy-up in front of the log-burner.

  • Beautiful cottage and great location. Warm and cosy with amazing fire place and beautifully comfy beds. Jane has thought about everything and we had all we needed for our two night stay. Dulverton is a great village wit everything you need and close to all the best walks - once you've driven o the cottage you don't even need the car - so it would also be great for a nob- driver who got public transport to dulverton and wanted to walk and explore exmoor. Highly recommend the cottage for a family stay, or even if you wanted to be on your own as you're close to people if you need Them but also able to relax And feel safe on your own. Will be back!

    Thea2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • There is a good space for parking in Jane’s Drive. After a days mountain biking we could hose our muddy bikes and kit down and space to store bikes overnight in the wood shed. We lit a log fire on our return from biking which was awesome (logs in shed, leave £5 a basket). Kitchen facilities were great, everything to cook meals in evening. You can walk to town in 5 minutes and a must is to book a meal at Woods award winning pub and restaurant, awesome atmosphere and food. There is a Co-op in town open early til late 7 days a week. Bed was comfortable and house cosy and warm. There are some lovely walks from Dulverton and Tarr steps is definitely worth a visit. We cycled to Tarr steps then to Winscombe on a circular route and walked from Withypool to Tarr steps circular route another day. I would definitely recommend this cosy cottage in a beautiful location with everything on your doorstep.

  • We had a lovely stay at Jane's cottage. Their house is near by which is great if you need to ask anything and Jane was there for the check in- but the cottage is totally private. It is such a shame that the weather was not very good as there is a lovely private garden to sit in but we could not really use it. The location is great - you can easily walk to the shops and restaurants in Dulverton in a few minutes but because their grounds are so big it does not feel like you are in the town centre. Great base to explore Exmoor and we were able to do a tour of Dunster, Lynmouth etc in one day in our car. The cottage is well equipped for self catering and reasonably spacious. We were just myself and my wife with our baby daughter. But you could easily have 4 adults staying here in the 2 bedrooms although there is just the one bathroom. There is a large open fire place in the lounge which I loved. Note that this is a genuinely old building with typically low doorways in places - so anyone tall needs to watch their head!

  • Just back from a wonderful week in this lovely, homely cottage. So special to stay in a place steeped in Dulverton history. The wine & flowers on arrival were a lovely, welcoming touch. The fire was particularly appreciated during our February stay. We very much enjoyed sharing tales of our mutual love & affection for Dulverton. Many thanks to you both for a wonderful week. Am sure we’ll be back!! David, Jenny, Jacob & Ruby Doodle. xxx

  • Jane's cottage is cosy and beautiful, with a gorgeous fire place and in a lovely setting. Jane was a great host, recommending us restaurants in the area and having a bottle of wine ready for our arrival! The cottage is literally 3 minute walk into the centre of Dulverton village so is very well situated. We had a lovely weekend. Thank you Jane.

A unique and spacious Grade II listed house, overlooking a large garden with views across the Barle Valley. It sleeps up to eight people, has open fires, log burners, a sun room and even a roll top bath. Just a minute’s walk from the centre of Dulverton, a lively spot with its great range of shops, restaurants and pubs. At the gateway to Exmoor National Parks’ stunning walks, rides, cycling paths and country pubs.
The house has four bedrooms, a dining room with a log burner and a double-length living room with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to relax in front of the open fire and additional log burner. The house enjoys a secluded location with wide views across the Barle valley, a large South facing garden and off road parking for up to three cars. Once inside its five hundred year history shines through – with stone and cob walls, thick oak beams and period features. Dogs can be accommodated downstairs (the sunroom is an ideal spot)
Restaurants in Dulverton - We have a good selection of restaurants and pubs with food. The Bridge Inn - a great pub with dining, very friendly with good to great food. Informal and relaxing. Tel: 01398 324130. Dog friendly. Woods - celebrated wine pub of the year - 5 years running - for the whole of the UK. Casual bar at the front with locals and visitors and then excellent food and wine at the back. At Woods you can have a steak salad or sandwich at the bar - but also a wonderful French meal, made with local ingredients and excellent cooking and wine in the restaurant. A bit more expensive than The Bridge Inn if you eat in the restaurant- but good value for the quality. Also open Sunday night. tel: 01398 324007. Dog friendly. Tong Dam - genuine Thai cuisine. Excellent choice and good food, friendly staff. You normally see people celebrating a birthday or anniversary there. Tel: 01398 32397 There is also a fish and chips shop in the town which is good to pick up and bring back to the house and we're lucky enough to have a good Co-Op which is open until 10pm too where you can get all supplies - plus delis and cake shops. Outside Dulverton Tarr Farm Inn - next to ancient clapper bridge Tarr Steps - is great after a walk - 01643 851507. Good pub food and also a restaurant. Masons Arms at Knowstone - http://www.masonsarmsdevon.co.uk/ - a 13th century pub and Michelin-starred restaurant. Good for a treat! No doubt there are lots of other good places around which you might be aware of - but above is a good selection for a short stay. The Dulverton ones are all within a 3-5 minute walk of the cottage so you don't have to worry about the car.
  • Woodlands was a real treat to stay at. Lovely real fires in most downstairs rooms add to the sense of a real home from home. Dulverton was just a few minutes walk down the road and offers good facilities, including several good places to eat. Lovely walks within easy reach. Great hosts.

  • This is a house of great character and a great base for exploring and walking (or cycling) Exmoor and beyond. It's just right for large groups (families or adults) and has a really good, relaxed and lived-in feel to it. Dulverton is a great base with good pubs and places to eat. Our hosts gave us recommendations which we followed up on and they were all good.

  • We all had a wonderful weekend staying at Jane's. The house and gardens are gorgeous and perfect for a big group, six of us and two dogs. We were there for a weekend walking and it couldn't be better located with walks on the doorstep and the moors only a short trip away. Bill and Jane were wonderful hosts and really helpful. They were there to greet us when we arrived, give us a tour of the house and make sure we had everything we might need. I really can't recommend Jane's place enough - come and stay, you wont be disappointed!

  • Jane's house in Dulverton suited us perfectly for the weekend. It is well located in the centre of Dulverton walking distance from all shops & pubs! The check in was super easy and Jane was on the end of the phone if needed! We would definitely recommend and will come back in the future! Thanks!

  • We loved our stay in this beautiful house -It had everything we required, was fully stocked and cream tea on arrival was one of many personal touches to the stay. Jane was a wonderful host, meeting us on arrival and sharing information around the area. Dulverton is a super location for days out with from with the children and the dog. We had great trips to Tarr Steps, Blue Anchor Beach, Lynton and Lynmouth to name a few and the log fire was also perfect for the inconsistent British summer when we came back in the evening. A house with the wow factor, we look forward to returning.

  • We had a really enjoyable holiday at Abby's place. All the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was great for cooking and eating our meals, and we had some sunshine time to sit out on the patio. Great location, less than 10 minutes walk into town and the riverside.

  • We had a wonderful week here with our dog. The house is very spacious and well equipped. Dulverton proved to be an excellent centre for exploring Exmoor and North Devon. There are some great walks through amazing scenery. There are local pubs, tea rooms, restaurants, a well stocked supermarket and other small shops. A delightful place. We were made to feel welcome and Abby was next door if we needed anything (we didn't though!)
