    SHARED ACCOMMODATION- my room is on one end of the condo, the room for rent is on the other. Located 100m/yd from the Stampede grounds, train station and the citywide bike path system, walking distance from Mission, Inglewood, the Beltline & the downtown core, all of them expansive shopping, dining and entertainment districts. Enjoy the contained master bedroom with full private bathroom and ample storage space; access to kitchen & living room. DURING STAMPEDE I WILL PAY FOR GUEST PARKING.
    Your host is a native Calgarian who can provide recommendations on sightseeing, booking trips to the mountains, renting a car, all sorts of things. I speak poor French and Chinese.

Also in the building are Starbucks, Royal Bank, a Liquor Store, and other restaurants.
    You will love this bright space with floor to ceiling windows. Quality furniture, decor and mattresses make this a great place to stay in Calgary. If you’re lucky enough to have this place at Stampede, you’ll have the best view of the action in Calgary. Please note that reservations during the Calgary Stampede are non-refundable 60 day prior to check-in (as opposed to the 5 day moderate policy which applies for the rest of the year).
    Across from Stampede grounds/Saddledome, the BMO Convention Centre, Cowboys Nightclub and Casino. Five dollar taxi/Uber to 17th Ave bars and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to Stephen Avenue. Trendy Inglewood is really close to the east, but it’s a long walk, so I would suggest an Uber.

Like the other reviews said, the sunshine in the morning made it a bit harder to sleep in, so be sure to bring an eye mask. As well, there is some noise from outside traffic that can be heard. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Thank you!

  • Phil’s home was very nice and clean. It was just the right amount of space for our group. The only downside was the that when we left the building for dinner someone else parked in our assigned stall for the unit. Phil was fast to respond that he didn’t know who had parked in the stall and there wasn’t much he could do about having the car removed. He offered to reimburse us for parking expenses else where. It was not Phil’s fault but it was just really inconvenient to drive around at night trying to find parking.

  • Being a realtor I get to see a lot of homes and how people live and maintain their investment. From the moment I booked with Sierra nothing was missed. Very quick to respond and went beyond my expectations. The place was extremely clean, bed was super comfortable, Breathtaking VIEW !! Everything was in brand new condition, she had all the little things any hotel would, towels were super soft and clean and endless amounts of Starbucks coffee inside the unit, lots of condiments and cookware, Internet was quick and location was incredible, you can literally walk anywhere you need to in ten min. With all that the place was inexpensive, I would highly recommend Sierra’s place to anyone and will likely book for any future Clients needing a place to stay. Thanks Sierra !!!!

You can BBQ your dinner with a great view from the 19th floor balcony! If you’re lucky enough to have this place at Stampede, you’ll have the best view of the action and fireworks in Calgary.
    Across from Stampede grounds/Saddledome, the BMO Convention Centre, Cowboys Nightclub and Casino. Five dollar taxi/Uber to 17th Ave bars and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to Stephen Avenue. Trendy Inglewood is really close to the east, but it’s a long walk, so I would suggest an Uber.

  • Stay away from this place! Check the reviews- he has none for a reason! When I arrived the internet didn't work. As i was on a business trip this was one of my main concerns. The location is right on a main highway so if you are a light sleeper stay away from this place as the various sirens, cars trucks and street noise is significant. The internet was fixed two days later but remained unreliable and inconsistent throughout my stay. I thought the place reasonably clean but a day in to my stay there was this horrible nauseating smell emanating from the closet. It was like wet sheets that had not been dried, or sulphur or rotten eggs. Definitely check the bed sheets as their was a stain on my comforter. The location is very convenient in terms of amenities and has an amazing gym. The owner was very difficult to deal with and very passive aggressive. There are way better places in Calgary to stay for the price and the hassle as I am a regular air b guest in the city.

Amenities in the apartment building include Gym, Steam Room, Hot Tub, Lockers, Theatre Room, Pool Table and Free Outdoor Parking from 6pm-8am. We have just refurnished this unit with a new couch, bed, and all new kitchenware. We will have updated photos of the unit early by the first week of July.

  • MJ is a fantastic host and her condo was perfect for our trip. I would highly recommend this property. We came as a couple to Calgary to watch hockey, see the city, and visit Banff/Lake Louise. The condo is within walking distance to the Saddledome (and has a great view of it!) and it is a close walk to many delicious restaurants. Having the Market on the first floor was also a bonus. We were able to have breakfast at the Market and stock up on snacks to bring back to the condo. The condo was VERY clean and check in was a breeze. Prior to our arrival, MJ sent a package that contained very helpful/detailed information about the check-in and check-out process. This was my first time staying at an AirBNB, so I was glad to have such a helpful host! MJ checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. This is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it!

  • Great location for the Calgary Stampede. There is a huge construction site immediately next door just starting with a tower crane eye level to this 14th floor unit. It will be under construction for probably the next 12 months.

The building has 24 hour security as well as a concierge at the front door during the daytime. The building also contains a large well equipped gym as well as a common area with tv’s a ping pong table, fire pit etc...
    Beautifully decorated, this one bedroom condo has everything you need for a short or long term stay. Underground parking, or hop on LRT which is a 3 minute walk away. Attending a hockey game? Stampede? Event at BMO or convention centre? Super convenient location. Short walk to downtown Stephen Ave shops, 17th ave, downtown offices and much loved East Village and Riverwalk!!! Building has 24 hr security/concierge. Walking distance to grocery stores, shopping and fantastic restaurants.
    The Guardian North has an exceptional location for anyone visiting Calgary. Main sports venues, theatres, convention centre, downtown office buildings all located within a 10 minute walking radius. Public transit is a stones throw away. Depending on traffic, we are a 20 minute drive from the airport. This is a safe downtown location with the police station located across the street. Building is safe with access only by key fob.

  • Jameson’s lovely home is located right in all the action for Stampede. Was a great space and clean clean clean. Plenty of fresh linens and a comfortable environment made our stay just perfect. Would recommend this apartment, for sure!

  • Our stay at Jameson’s place was perfect. The place was amazing. It was such a beautiful space, perfect for my partner and I. It was very cosy with everything you could possible need. Smart tv with all the Netflix you could want. The bath was amazing, exactly what I needed in the cold winter and an amazing kitchen right up the road from a market. Walking distance to all the shops and the Calgary tower. We lived our stay and would go back anyday.

  • I am so happy with my decision to book this place! It is located in a quieter area of Calgary, but nearby to everything you need. The restaurant on the main level is excellent, I went for breakfast every day. There is also an amazing Italian place nearby and one of Calgary’s best ice cream spots just a block over. The building is quiet and the unit is spotless with a luxury feel. I highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting Calgary, especially for conference/business travel.
