Gated Private Entrance w/lock, parking spot, studio room w/custom foam mattress 51Wx80L . Bed high off ground. 200 sq ft. hot water for 5-6 minutes in shower.1 ba rm w/standing shower. Wifi, window A/C unit. One mile to convention center/downtown . Take a bike to the zoo, rail yards, weekend farmers market, bosque trail along the river, or downtown ABQ. Easy access to airport. 5 minute walk to historic Barelas Coffee Shop! Close to downtown restaurants & breweries/bars/music venues.
This space is a true tiny house, 200 sq ft nestled away from the downtown scene. Has studio bedroom with custom foam mattress 51Wx80L. The bed is high off ground and requires a step stool to get in. Additional single floor mattress, small kitchenette, bathroom with standing shower. this is a true tiny house with small hot water heater that last 5 to 6 minutes of hot water and 45 minutes to refill with hot water. Window a/c unit. Sleeps 1 comfortably but can sleep 2 (ideal for couples). There are 2 different growers markets close by on weekend mornings during the warmer months. Several breweries in the area. The tiny house is walking distance to the historic Barelas Coffee house, The Rail Yards, Zoo.
My neighborhood represents the heart of Albuquerque once the main rail yard neighborhood, I am a 3 min Uber ride or 10 min bike ride from the main transportation hub, and the rail runner when I feel like taking a train ride up north to Santa Fe. I am a short Uber/biking distance from some of the best breweries in town. I am also 1 mile from downtown/ Convention Center. Small city and advise people to not walk alone in the evening no matter what area.
  • Staying overnight in Drew's tiny house was a fun way to end our trip to New Mexico. The chick in process was very clear and smooth. The bed inside the tiny house was comfortable, and even with the heat we slept great.

  • We enjoyed staying in this clean and cozy tiny house, especially getting to watch Netflix in the Super comfortable bed! We slept very soundly for the night before continuing on our road trip. Thank you, Drew!

  • The place is small but so amazing inside; well worth the money. I highly recommend for anyone making the trip to Albuquerque.

  • This tiny house (Tiny Zia) is a really cool small space to stay in and has everything a couple should need. We made use of the cable TV and WiFi which were nice creature comforts. The shower (whilst it has a limited run time due to the tank, we never ran out) was hot and had plenty of pressure. Drew provided a book of local tips and recommendations as well as clear instructions on how to use everything in the Tiny Zia. We stayed here for one night and had big bags as we were on a long road trip and found the garden path a little awkward to navigate through but if you had normal bags you’d be fine. The area was quiet with a few dogs in the nearby gardens, however we would not have felt comfortable walking around the area at night.

    Daniel2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Was a nice cozy tiny home! It had everything we needed and though it better fits one person it was me and one other person that stayed there and it was plenty room for us! Great communication from drew! We enjoyed our stay!

  • Great place for the location and value. Super nice guy!

    Donald2018-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Easy to get down town! It was a great place for my husband and I who spent our 20th anniversary there! Everything you needed was there! We never had to reach out to Drew for anything!

  • Drew's tiny home was lovely. A great location, lovely amenities, and a cozy spot to call home for a few days. Definitely recommend if you're 1-2 people looking to enjoy the southwest. Thank you for sharing your space!

Large Victorian style house centrally located within minutes of the Railyard Markets, downtown, the University area, Nob Hill, Old Town, and the Bosque. We're very close to bus routes and are a 5 min drive to the airport. The room has a private secure entrance, shared bathroom directly across the hall, secured parking and yard with common sitting area, and is down the hallway from the kitchen. Small pets are welcome, we own a small friendly dog and a very friendly fat cat.
The guest room has a private entrance accessible from both the front and rear of the house. Guests will have wifi, a smart tv with Netflix access, as well as a coffee station and microwave in their private room. Towels, basic toiletries and an extra warm blanket are also provided. Kitchen and bathroom are shared. There is a laptop in the room as well, it's old but gets the job done if needed. The house is occupied by an artistic family and decorated with a lot of unique artwork and collectibles, including some taxidermy. These are mostly all located in the owner's half of the house, but we mention it out of respect for those who might find such objects questionable or offensive.
We are nestled right in the heart of the city, minutes from several attractions including downtown, the Zoo and Biopark, the Nob Hill shopping area, and many diverse bar and restaurant choices.
  • Excelente lugar para hospedarse, cama cómoda y arte en las paredes fuera de lo común. Sabrina muy amable y brinda la información muy clara.

    Heidy2019-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Sabrina's guest room was eminently habitable. would stay again

    Sean2018-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sabrina was welcoming and kind, and the room exceed our expectations for the price. It's a steal considering the convenient location, cleanliness, bathroom across the hall and private entrance. Plus, a very sweet dog and not-as-fat cat. Should I need to come back to ABQ, I would definitely stay here again.

    Ella2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Super accomodating place, great location for a great price.

    Amanda2019-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Sabrina’s place was a perfect stop on a long road trip. She was friendly and there if needed, but she was not up in ya business, which was appreciated after a long day of travel. I loved the art on the walls and the VERY comfy bed. Would definitely stay again.

  • Good stay! We had a very late check in but it was easy. Comfy bed.

    Yuko2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fun stay! Large room and own entrance was awesome! I had a little bit of trouble getting the lock box on the gate open but I finally got it. It was no big deal. Had a nice stay. Would very much recommend.

Sleek, clean, newly-remodeled mellow space for two travelers with sunny back yard, off-street parking, and morning coffee. Close to bus line, restaurants, the university, airport and downtown night life with spacious, private bath and laundry facilities. Single beds are comfy and new. Kid-friendly. There is one well-behaved dog in a household owned by 2 queers. Eco-friendly soap and shampoo provided.
The South Broadway Neighborhood developed in the 1920s for the railroad workers.
  • Such a great experience. Easy to get to the place, they even let me park my Uhaul in the driveway. Good conversations, comfy room, very nice bathroom. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer!

    Carl2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Darcy is an absolute sweetheart. She ensured my brother and I were comfortable. She was very easy to communicate with and she responds very quickly! The single beds are super soft and comfy. The blankets were soft and as all the reviews agreed, her home is sparkling clean. The bathroom is also very clean and spacious! If you stay in the summer, she has a portable A/C. It runs a little loud but it definitely kept the room nice and cool. Definitely worth staying here as it is also nearby downtown and old town!

    Cannie2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome!

    Bethany2019-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • We were able to comfortably spend the last night of our trip in Albuquerque and to do plenty of long walks to go for dinner, and a couple of drinks. The bedroom and bathroom, are very comfortable and clean, which is really nice and appreciated.

    Maria2018-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Darcy's place was the perfect place to rest after a long drive. The bathroom alone makes it worth the stop.

    Jennifer2018-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • I have been with Airbnb for 5 years and am a SuperHost who spoke at the 2016 Airbnb Open: I say that because Darcy's place was THE nicest surprise I experienced as a guest. From the inviting title of her listing, to the warm welcoming, to the cozy bedroom, the beeeeeautiful bathroom, the yummy morning coffee and the kind good bye note, everything had a welcoming and personal touch - all of that at an unbeatable price! A few minutes from downtown ABQ, in a quiet neighborhood with easy parking, staying at her house was by far the best choice for my pup Wellington and I. Darcy, her partner Kate and their sweep pup gave us a 1st class experience and I have no doubt Darcy will be listed as a SuperHost in no time. I would hope to return to ABQ for work soon, and would most certainly love to stay at Darcy's. If you haven't been her guest yet, do yourselves the favor, and book it now :-) You'll love it! PS: Oh, and if you happy to be a #BreakingBad fan, you'll love how close her place is to all the main cool spots on the #BB self-drive map ;-)

    Pina2017-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • I do not end up staying with Darcy, because I arrived early and left I had 2 hours more I could drive. But communication was great.

    Katie2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Darcy's place was very cute and the bathroom was beautiful! The backyard was pretty and it was relaxing having coffee out there while watching the hummingbirds. If you tend to get hot while sleeping, just crack a window in the bedroom and bathroom and you're all set!

Spacious and unique room in my downtown home (READ ENTIRE LISTING PLEASE). Fairly private space to sleep/shower/stopover. Shared bathroom if my other guest room is booked. Walk to popular places in ABQ! Near Old Town/University/Nob Hill/airport/train station/bus terminal. Park free on the streets surrounding complex. Great for cost-savvy travelers. *Only Verified Accounts with positive reviews can book this space. Newbies are welcome to book once they have some experience on the platform*
Located in a prime downtown location. Everything is walking distance! First floor includes the two rooms (two separate listings) I have available for guests and the bathroom. Must be able to climb stairs if accessing the kitchen on the second floor. My space is on the third floor (not open to guests) so guest spaces are fairly private. Note: This room is a garage that has been outfitted into a room space so no natural light (ie no window) and which means it is great for sleeping since it's like having blackout curtains! Also, the room has a sliding door which is a little bit smaller than a regular standard door (see photo). If this is possible issue please check with me...large equipment or extra large suitcases, etc. Please DO NOT book this room if you are not ok with the description. It is a great space, though! People who are adaptable, have experience staying in hostels, or have an adventure streak: you'll enjoy the space. This room has an a/c unit in the summer and a space heater in the winter. -Must have a verified account and a history of positive reviews to InstaBook. Serious and Kind of Silly Note: Adults who want "special time," it's really awkward for everyone in the house when we hear you, and we will, so if you're looking for that time together, please book a more private space. :)
Downtown. Located next to nightlife, theaters, government buildings, incredible breweries, cafes, a grocery store, The University of New Mexico, CNM, Amtrak/Greyhound/Airport, The ABQ Zoo/Botanical Gardens/Aquarium, and Old Town. There is a great gym a couple blocks away if you want to work on your fitness. Most of this is walking distance.

  • I was driving through Albuquerque one night and just could not keep driving. Around 9:30-10pm, I messaged Joe in desperation and asked if it was too late to stay. He said absolutely not and met me immediately. He was so kind and so welcoming and took the time to give me the run down, even though it was so late. GREAT price, great stay. Exactly what I needed. Joe to the rescue! Would recommend to anyone! :)

  • Joe's place was nice and a convenient spot to crash at a solid price. I stayed for one night following a canceled flight, and Joe was able to accommodate me under short notice, which I appreciate. It's a private room directly connected to the main foyer, so you have your privacy.

This casita is private and comfortable, just minutes from central Albuquerque and walks along the Rio Grand. In an old New Mexico neighborhood, for a unique experience in small home living with every thing you need and nice hosts to boot.
Our home and casita are located south of Downtown Albuquerque, bordered by the Rio Grande and historic Route 66. Centrally located just 12 minutes from downtown, 14 minutes to the Sunport Airport, 15 minutes to UNM and the Nob Hill districts, 10 minutes to the Rail Runner to Santa Fe and freeway access and 9 minutes to BioPark Aquarium and the Zoo. We built our casita 3 years ago as an experiment in Small Home Living. We lived comfortably here for a year with kitchen, full bath, bedroom, sitting/dining room and a secluded outdoor living space.( and we're still happily married!) The kitchen is set up for light cooking with a refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, microwave and coffee maker. Some necessities are stocked as well, with grocery stores near by. The bedroom has a double bed with feather comforter and blankets, your choice of pillows and crisp new sheets. The bath features shower, toilet and lav sink. Newly installed hot water heater assures guests a generous shower on demand. Remember tho that Albuquerque is experiencing a prolonged drought so conservation is always important. There is secure off street parking in a fenced yard for your privacy and your pets pleasure. Of course, pets should be contained if left unattended. There are several bikes available for access to nearby River paths just blocks away. Albuquerque is a great bike town with miles of dedicated bike paths and lanes (maps available). There Is TV with local reception, DVD and DSL wifi provided as well as a great music system, iPhone/iPod compatible. We can help you discover and enjoy the area or leave you comfortably alone to explore on your own.
All the map apps will get you right to our neighborhood. If you have turned on to our road and are unsure of the next step, the house is the 3rd house on the right. Pull into the parking area through the gate, the casita is located at the back of the property through the blue gate.

  • My experience at Saba's South Valley Casita was great. There was granola, milk and coffee waiting in the fridge. I woke each morning and had a cup of coffee on the outdoor patio - so relaxing. I was out and about for most of my stay, but I found the bus to Downtown was very convenient.

    Carey2014-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • What an adorable casita! Made for such a comfortable stay. Saba was such an awesome hostess - great communication and she made us feel so welcome! She also gave us great food recommendations. Would love to stay with her on my next visit to Albuquerque!

    Lauren2015-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Quick last-minute response, very clean and tastefully arranged, great kitchen, comfortable bed, good central location, nice grapevines around the casita patio. We were thankful for this lovely, pet-friendly place. Would definitely stay here again!

    Manda Clair2018-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I enjoyed Saba's place a lot. I especially appreciated the bicycles that were available as I am a bike-lover and the town and river is so beautiful to bike through. My puppy Spider also appreciated the backyard, and on our last day, she ran circles in excitment and enjoyment. Saba responds in a timely fashion also if there are any questions or issues. We recomend this for future guests.

    Ythuan2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great cozy casita. Quiet neighborhood, and easy to access. Off street parking made us feel safe and secluded. Beautiful and relaxing backyard. Saba is very helpful and communicative. We would stay here again.

Close to UNM and downtown and Located about 5-10 minutes away from the Sunport Airport (depending on traffic.) I live in a cute and cozy 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house with my house mate, Jessica. Our one extra room is used for Airbnb. Early check ins or late check outs require a 50% fee of one day price. Pet friendly but please let me know if you are bringing a pet! Late night check-ins are no problem.
I have a cozy house with an extra bedroom for the weekends. I have a small house and our rooms are right next to each other. Depending what I have going it is usually a quiet homes. My roommate Jessica and I like to watch movies in the living room. Keep in mind because of how small it is it can get noisy.
I live in a very Hispanic neighborhood and a church just a couple doors down. I have gotten to know all my neighbors in the past year and they have all been friendly and trustworthy. I have never had a problem with missing or stolen property but still I have cameras set up and bars on the windows, with a safety mechanism from the inside, in case of fire.
  • Our host was very nice and extremely friendly great value for a comfortable bed and amenities extra blankets and towels it was a great stay.

Cozy and unique tiny home in the South Valley of Albuquerque, NM. Nestled within a newly planted orchard with a rural feel but close to everything! This hand-built, one-of-a-kind tiny home offers a special experience in sustainable living with a bucket toilet for humanure (composting human waste!). 10 minutes from the Airport and Downtown Albuquerque. Close to the Bosque where you can take beautiful strolls or bike rides beneath the cottonwood trees.
This totally unique tiny home was designed and built in Albuquerque. It is built on a gooseneck trailer, with a partially lofted bedroom (with a queen size bed). There is a mini-loft above the bathroom with a memory foam pad that can be used as a cozy reading nook. There is a full (though small) and fully stocked kitchen with an apartment sized fridge and range. The shower/bath is made out of a watering trough and requires a high step-over to get in. The tiny house is a 70 yard walk from the parking area. We are happy to help with carrying any luggage to the tiny home. We live in the big house at the front of the property; 70 yards away from the tiny house. The property also houses another tiny home with a permanent resident, and a casita which is an office space for an herbalism collective. Our property has a front gate which we lock with a combo lock at night or when no one is home. We keep honeybees on the property and one of the hives is 50 ft from the tiny house, with the entrance facing away. The waste water from the tiny house drains directly to the garden via a simple grey water system; therefore anything that goes down the drains must be 100% biodegradable. We provide soaps and shampoo for your convenience. The toilet is a simple 5 gallon bucket with a sturdy toilet seat on it. Guests make their 'deposit' in the bucket and cover it with sawdust. It works surprisingly well to contain smells! We dump the full buckets into our humanure compost piles to make compost for the future!
Our neighborhood is an interesting mix of rural and urban. Within 5 minutes there are vegetable farms, the Rio Grande, and downtown Albuquerque. There are some tasty New Mexican and Mexican restaurants close-by, like Kathy's and El Paisa. We live on a busy street but the property is long and narrow, extending away from the street, and the tiny house is at the back.
  • Very clean and a quiet place to stay ❤ Trevor was extremely nice when we met him upon check in

  • This is a beautiful tiny home with plenty of room for 2! Trevor and Elena were wonderful hosts. It’s a very special place.

    Liz2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Truly one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at!! Trevor and Elena blew me away with their incredibly cozy space and thoughtful touches. I never wanted to leave. Using a compost toilet was a whole new experience for me and I’m glad there was instructions. They also included teas, oats and milk alternatives for breakfast. They made us feel welcome with a nice note when we got there. I would come back to NM just to stay here again!

    Emma2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Albuquerque for an evening! This place was incredibly cozy and quaint. We wanted to live in it. Location was great when arriving from the airport late at night and finding the place/getting checked in was a breeze. Trevor and Elena even had coffee and granola fixings for us for breakfast. Such a great stay!

This one bedroom casita is centrally located in the South Broadway neighborhood of Albuquerque. It includes a bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen and fenced in outdoor area. Off-street parking and high-speed internet are included.
  • Jesse's place is close to everything in Albuquerque, and is a good value for the price. Good for solo travelers or couples.

    Ashley2019-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • It’s easy to find! Really cozy and relaxing. Whole place is well maintained and taken care of. Rainfall shower is probably the best feature. Has tv with local cable channels and a full kitchen. Heaters work great! Just make sure to set the heaters accordingly because they can make the place pretty warm. Parking off the street is definitely a plus here! Jesse was great and was able to make accommodations due to getting there late at night. Really recommend this place and will stay here again!

Bright, comfortable space filled with natural light and lots of space inside and out. Local artist's work and crafts are through out the property as well as local coffee and beer growlers for all local breweries downtown ,provided for your stay. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walking distance to popular restaurants and nightlife (Bio Park, Zoo, Old Town, Downtown). Hiking and bike trails near the river. Also a wonderful farmers market every Saturday morning.
Guests are welcome to use everything.
  • This is precisely why AirBnB is SO MUCH better than hotels--great location, interesting and beautifully decorated, thoughtful little touches like fruit and good coffee. Received a great tip on a fun cocktail & arcade place just five minutes away. Made a quick place to crash into a lovely min-vacation. Would definitely book again.

Our place is a 5-10 minute walk from downtown and one block from the zoo. (Hint: Use the Albuquerque Zoo as a way to search if our place is close to what you want) Easy access to restaurants, nightlife, activities, and Old Town. You’ll love the place because of the neighborhood, the light, the comfortable bed, the kitchen, and the coziness. It is a great space for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The room is located in the upstairs portion of the house with a private bathroom.
The space is upstairs in our house, quite separate from our main living space. 3/4 of the way up the stairs is a private bathroom that has a shower, sink and toilet. You will have a sense of privacy as we do not use the upstairs when guests are staying here. The bedroom is on the East side of the house and furnished simply with a bed, dresser, bookshelf, writing desk, office chair and cushioned chair. If you have more than 2 people in your party, you have the option of using an air mattress on the floor in the room across the hall. This would be ideal for children or someone traveling with you who would like their own space. Please write me to request this option so that I can make sure the extra room is set up for guests (It is usually my study and can get quite messy).
Our neighborhood is nestled between downtown, Barelas (one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city) and the Country Club. It has a lot of character and is a good place to stay if you want access to Old Town or Downtown but want to be in a residential neighborhood. For those of you who are Breaking Bad fans there are lots of iconic spots within walking distance.
  • Jessie’s home was a perfect place for my brief stay in Albuquerque. My goal was to see a bit of town and get in a bike ride or two. The river bike path was a few blocks away; good for two 20 mile rides along the Rio Grand. Jessie’s neighborhood was safe and quiet yet close to downtown. I didn’t get to the zoo but it was practically in their back yard. A pleasant stay.

    Sandra2018-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing and super comfortable. Very quite neighborhood. More so than expected. Will be my first choice for all ABQ stays. Loved it !

    Michael2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Easy access to airport and my conference site. Quiet street, quaint home. Room was cooled quickly with an in room air conditioner. Coffe, yogurt and granola was a quick yummy breakfast.

    Debbie2019-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay in Albuquerque!! Not far from the airport, not far from shopping, close to the highway, great places to eat near by! (If your going to Balloon Fiesta: the closest park and ride is at Airport Parking and it is only a few minutes away!! The bus ride to the park is only 15 minutes and you don't have to mess with parking or traffic) The room is so comfortable! Jessie and Michael are great host and make communication SO EASY! Warning - the shower gets VERY VERY HOT!

    Danielle2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice room on the second floor, with AC and reminder page and info of Albuquerque, happy to stay again!

    Frank2016-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • I had a lovely time staying with Jessie and Michael! Their home is in a wonderful location. It is walking distance to the train station, Marble Brewery, and Java Joes (where Walter White meets with Tuco for you Breaking Bad fans out there). Michael gave a great recommendation of going to Barelas Coffee House - one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while. Thank you so much for your hospitality and adorable purple bedroom! I will be back.

    Jamy2018-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jessie and Michael were great hosts and attentive to questions I had about my visit. I especially liked the cleanliness of the room and bathroom and the private air conditioning unit which cooled the room nicely during warm nights. Great location next to downtown Albuquerque!

I lived in this neighborhood for about a year and a half. What I love most about this area is it's close proximity to restaurants and local breweries in the downtown area. At the same time I love how peaceful it is and how many friendly people you see out walking at various times in the day.

    Jing Jing2017-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • We were in Albuquerque for a conference and Jason & Mandy's place was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything! There were three of us so having three sleeping areas was perfect. The sleeping surfaces were all quite different with a super sink-in-to-soft bed in the bedroom, a springy sofa mattress, and the futon. As a almost 3rd trimester pregnant lady, the bed was a bit challenging to get in and out of, but otherwise we had a great stay! The place is quaint, stylish, and has anything and everything we needed.

This gorgeous loft makes for the ultimate urban stay in the city. With a 92/100 walkscore, you can quickly explore the downtown area. Old Town is just a few minutes by car and there is quick freeway access. We have put a lot of thought into this space, from the eclectic decor to the fully stocked kitchen!

Catch a show at Albuquerque’s SunshineTheater, only a short ways away! Old Town is just a short drive away! There is quick freeway access to easily get around the city. On Sunday's (May-October) the nearby railyard comes to life. The Railyards Market is a local gem filled with local artisan crafts, fresh fruits/vegetables, and tasty treats. Just as with the downtown area of most major cities, Albuquerque's Downtown has a large population of eccentric, transient, and homeless people. This is something for you to be aware of but not alarmed by. I have lived in this neighborhood and feel comfortable walking, though I do pay careful attention to my surroundings just as I would anywhere. The condo is located around the corner from a shelter but our property is securely fenced and gated ensuring there is never an issue. • This is a great place to stay. It even had extra hygiene amenities Incase you forgot anything. And the living conditions were super comfortable and cozy.

  • I would describe this space as visually stunning. Modern loft style, with windows of glass looking to the north. Roomy, comfy, stylish, with some beautiful art adorning the walls. We stayed overnight, but I could see myself holing up here for several days and doing a writing retreat. There is an excellent coffee house and microbrewery a half a block away, a higher end grocery store a couple of blocks away, and many dining options in the vicinity. Gated parking was handy to have.

    Jeffrey2018-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Good location, walking distance to coffee shops and market. Very clean and fun loft. Easy communication throughout. Would stay again!

  • We truly enjoyed Lacy’s loft! It was perfectly located and had a great neighbor who greeted us several times! The view was lovely and the bed was comfy which is two combos that I appreciate and need! Also, she had great little extras like plenty of linens and plenty of wine glasses! 👍🏻👍🏻😉. We definitely would come here again and always enjoy our trips to Albuquerque!

  • Excellent

    Nicholas2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • We took all of Lacy’s recommendations for local food and it was amazing! All of the information she gave us was so helpful in getting around town and getting to the balloon festival. The location of the airbnb was very central to everything we wanted to do and made it easy to get around.

    Emily2018-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed a night in Lacy's place in Albuquerque on our long drive from Houston to San Fransisco. We were quite pleased with a comfortable, clean, and stylish place Lacy has provided. The location is very close to Central Ave and downtown area where the nightlife hustle and bustle is. Also notable was Lacy through instruction and quick responses. We had a pleasant stay and a comfortable night sleep thanks to Lacy. Well done!

Our host, Douglas, was very clear and succinct with his informational piece for guests. We were given several contact methods, just in case. But everything went swimmingly. I highly encourage a stay if you're heading to Albuquerque.

I lived in this neighborhood for about a year and a half. What I love most about this area is it's close proximity to restaurants and local breweries in the downtown area. At the same time I love how peaceful it is and how many friendly people you see out walking at various times in the day.
  • beautifully decorated & very tidy. close enough to everything downtown. would recommend jason to friends & family

  • It’s clean.

    Gabriela2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jason & Mandy's place is adorable, spacious, and conveniently located to everything in downtown Albuquerque. The check-in was flawless, the space was well-maintained, and the guest guidebook was filled with everything I could think of, from restaurant recommendations to a pictorial guide to using the TV remotes. I would highly recommend Jason & Mandy's place to anyone.

  • Neat, stylish, and the bed was so insanely comfortable. Also very nicely located!

  • Very nice corner of Albuquerque and a spacious, good value 1 bedroom apartment.

    Brian2018-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place downtown close to attractions, and well worth the price.

    Adan2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Don't know what to add that others have written...Mandy, the apartment, the location and the ease of it all epitomizes why we stay in Airbnbs. If you find something to fault this place for, there's something wrong with you. Our only complaint about Airbnb apartments/whole houses, generally, is that too many proprietors have priced themselves out of the market. Yes, the naked profit motive has, sadly, won the day. Having said that, I want fellow travelers to know that veteran Airbnbers, like ourselves, to know that we believe that this place was a good -- not great -- value. We've stayed in inferior apartments for more money. (Note to Jason and Mandy: Don't raise your price.)

This home is located is a new development in an old neighborhood. The street does not have much thru-traffic but the surrounding neighborhood is lively. Just as with the downtown area of most major cities, the Barelas neighborhood has a large population of eccentric, transient, and homeless people. This is something for you to be aware of but not alarmed by. There is very little foot traffic on the street.
  • Beautiful place to stay with family or friends. Stylish, interesting, and comfortable🎉

    Megan2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • This house is so comfortable, quiet, and clean. She was so quick to respond to any and all questions! It's quick access to the highway, downtown and old Town. Great off street parking.

    Taylor2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • A true diamond in the rough, Casa Benecia is a lovely home with a very modern, simplistic decor that I thoroughly enjoy. The street the home is on is a private drive but there are still people that walk and ride their bikes in the wee hours of the morning. The host did a great job explaining this in the description so I wasn't that surprised. The host is easy to get a hold of and responds quickly. She is very helpful. Though I don't think I would rent this location again I would be interested in checking out some of her other properties.

  • Our stay at this home was great! Very clean and love the decor. Lacy was very quick to respond when we had a question regarding the home. Stayed here twice and our experience was great both nights. Would love to stay here again if ever in Albuquerque again.

one bedroom in East of Downtown/Huning Highlands neighborhood--1985 Victorian-inspired townhome in a historic neighborhood, walking distance of restaurants, movie theater and much much more. Close to UNM, Presbyterian Hospital
My neighborhood is Albuquerque's first subdivision, platted in 1885 to provide housing for people flocking to work in "New Town", as that section of town created by the railroad was then called. Many National Register and State Register historic homes, walking distance to restaurants, downtown, Convention Center and downtown hotels, restaurants. Airport is about a 20 minute drive, and my home is 5 blocks away from the primary central city bus station, light rail and rail station. Convenient access to major interstate highways I40 and I25.
  • It was such a pleasure to stay at Gordon’s place! Very convenient location near downtown Abq, clean and comfortable, and some very enjoyable conversations in the morning! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again

    Tyler2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Gordon is a fantasy caring host, very knowledgeable and passionate about Albuquerque and the local indigenous people's. He is a great person to have a conversation with and will make your stay in Albuquerque much richer with his input

    Irvin2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time @ Gordon's house. Once again, Gordon was a very charming and congial host. I would highly recommend staying at his lovely house in a quiet historic district close to downtown Albuquerque.

    Alice2016-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Gordon is a great host. I couldn't have enjoyed my stay more and hope to visit again. He was welcoming, delightful, considerate, and all the things that a host should be. He gets five stars. :) I'm a vegan and the immediate area, in addition to being historic and lovely, was filled with unexpected treasures within walking distance; "Holy Cow" has a great veggie burger and veggie fries to die for, there's another cafe with great vegan options and kitties where I had a vegan cookie and sat with all the awesome kitties, and a wonderful consignment shop where I picked up a designer bag for a great deal.

    Tams2016-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Gordon was a very pleasant and easygoing host and his house is lovely. Besides, he is the right person if you want to know more about the area and the Native American people.

    Rémi2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first air bnb experience and I couldn't have had a better host. Gordon made me feel comfortable right away and was very welcoming. I just stayed one night as I was passing through, but I would definitely stay there again if I was ever back in Albuquerque. Thanks Gordon!

    Andrew2017-06-14T00:00:00Z

The casita is literally blocks away from the Rio Grande River and the Bosque. The University of New Mexico campus, the UNM Lobos Football Stadium, UNM Pit, the Isotopes Baseball Stadium, Old Town, Downtown Albuquerque are all within a few mile from the casita. The Albuquerque Zoo, Botanical Garden, Art Museum and Hispanic Cultural center are also close by and accessible by bike trail from the casita. It is close to just about every major attraction in Albuquerque.
We call our home Casa Namaste, which translates from Sanskrit to “I honor the place in you of love, light, truth, and peace, that reflects that place in me.” We designed our home and it’s grounds to be an oasis, a retreat where our guests can feel a sense of sanctuary from the world, and commune with nature. We invite guests to enjoy the privacy of a walled, gated compound, complete with bamboo groves, flower beds, an orchard, fountains, and a waterfall.
Casa Namaste is a traditional adobe Southwest style home located in an older, south valley neighborhood. Most families in the area have lived here for at least a few generations, coming originally from Mexico. As newcomers to the area, we enjoy the quiet almost rural feel, while at the same time being in close proximity to downtown, Old Town, and Nob Hill... all fun places to hangout, and find good eats...We also love that in the valley we have a green oasis in the desert with lots of giant cottonwood trees, and many varieties of fruit trees. Being only three blocks from the Rio Grande River is also a plus, as we enjoy biking and walking and running and checking out the wild life...All in all we feel our neighborhood offers an eclectic diversity, coupled with a closeness to nature and easy access to the amenities of Albuquerque.
  • The location is amazing, both Wayland and Elizabeth are great, and the casita is lovely. I highly recommend staying here if your visiting.

    Emily2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We've only stayed in a handful of Air B & B's, but this one is special.

    James2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • The casita was an absolute oasis. Both the garden and the casita were beautiful. Very quiet and we felt super safe. The location was great with easy access to downtown and old town locations! The restaurant nearby el Paisa is one of our favorites. It was also so wonderful to have a full kitchen if we wanted to stay in to eat. I wish we could have stayed longer! I would highly suggest staying with Elizabeth and Wayland if you are in albuquerque!

    Margaret2019-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Bigger than expected and great amenities! Very cozy and more isolated than expected. Would recommend for a cheaper stay but still nice.

    Mike2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at La Casita for 10 days with my daughter! Everything was as expected, even better. I was a little worried about cockroaches and insects but I didn't see any inside the house! We had everything we could need for a long stay. Wayland and Elizabeth were helpful in everything I asked them. La Casita is cozy, comfortable and quiet . We also enjoyed the yard, specially for breakfast in the morning. The only thing is that wifi didn't worked at all inside the house, but they told me they were going to fix it. If I return to Albuquerque, this is my choice for sure!

  • We were at Mandy’s place for an extended stay. It has a great location, lovely space, comfy bed, and a good, working, small kitchen. A great base camp for us. Mandy is very responsive and friendly; she provides basic and extra amenities. Definitely a wonderful place to land in Albuquerque.

Our two story Victorian home (1904), is located in East Downtown, within walking distance of The Grove, Farina Pizzeria and many other top restaurants, cafes and breweries. We are also within walking distance of downtown and the Railrunner train, which you can ride to Santa Fe. Share bikes and e scooters are located a few blocks from our house. We are a 7 minute drive to the airport, and even closer to UNM, CNM and Nob Hill. Fun Fact: Our house was Duane Chow's house in Breaking Bad (Season 3).
Featuring high ceilings, large windows and a tranquil blue-green and grey interior design, our house offers a retreat in the heart of Albuquerque. The house has front and back porches with outdoor furniture to enjoy our beautiful New Mexico weather. The front and back yards are tastefully landscaped and available to guests. We have a charcoal grill and a locally hand-forged outdoor table that seats 4. Both bathrooms have showers with glass doors, and the upstairs bathroom has a tub. The towels in the downstairs bathroom are from Restoration Hardware and the ones in the upstairs bathroom are organic. We provide bathroom products, including many items from Los Poblanos, one of Albuquerque's premier organic farms. We are an environmentally conscious household and use mainly eco cleaning products. All of the interior paint is Benjamin Moore Natura, so there are no harmful VOCs, and the upstairs carpet is made from plant fibers. The downstairs bed is a Lifekind organic rubber mattress that provides supreme comfort. The kitchen is outfitted with plenty of modern amenities, including a dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, plates, silverware, glassware, wineglasses and All Clad cookware. We have cups and mugs from Hanselman Pottery, a great local business to visit in Corrales. There is a filtered water button on the inside of the fridge, and we regularly replace the filters. We have a small french press and provide coffee ground for it. We also provide organic black and green loose leaf tea. We have high speed wifi and one TV that is connected to an Apple TV. We are signed in to Netflix and Hulu (no commercials), which you are welcome to watch while you are visiting. We also have a Mac Desktop on which you can sign in as a guest. There is a an iron and ironing board in the downstairs bedroom closet. In the upstairs bedroom, there is a mini split for individualized heating and cooling. Please keep the suite door closed for best temperature control. Down the long narrow hallway, there is a closet with hangers and extra blankets and towels. The shades are cordless, and you can gently push them up or down for privacy. If you've forgotten anything, please feel free to use any of the items in the bathrooms, bathroom storage areas or kitchen.
Huning Highlands is located just east of downtown Albuquerque. Most of the houses were built in the late 19th and early 20th century in various styles common to the Victorian era. The neighborhood is in transition with some houses fully renovated and others in desperate need of repairs. There are new, modern style homes where old Victorian houses were removed. The neighborhood is in an urban environment, so there are wonderful restaurants and walking opportunities but also the potential for urban crime.

Remodeled artist studio is now a cozy hideaway in the midst of downtown Albuquerque. One queen bed plus private courtyard sitting area provide both privacy and space for you to enjoy. Three-quarter bath, kitchen area, and closet complete this hidden gem.
Casita is located in the historic Raynolds Neighborhood. A walking tour available online for free will take you past the many architectural highlights in our neighborhood. Only four blocks from Central Avenue and the bus service, two blocks from Tingley Park and the Albuquerque Zoo.
  • Perfect spot! We recommend.

    Tiffany2019-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is in a great location -- a five minute walk to a wonderful cafe with amazing baked goods and the best dirty chai I have had in a while (Java Joe's) in a sweet neighborhood. I was there only one night so I didn't get a chance to explore, but would do so if I went back. The space is pretty basic -- studio with a bathroom -- plus there is an outdoor space to hang if it's not too hot. In the bathroom there was what looked like homemade soap -- nice touch. Everything was clean; bed was comfy; there were tasty snacks and extra water, which I really needed. There was good communication so I knew exactly how to get in. It was a great value and I'd stay there again if I needed to be in ABQ for a single night.

Just off Route 66, Barelas Railyard, close to art galleries, restaurants, nightclubs, shopping and airport. You’ll love my place, fun & sunny with a modern twist rustic adobe casita in the heart of the SW. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers. We prefer guests with previous reviews, sometimes we allow it with additional verification. Decorated with authentic work from fine artists of New Mexico & around the country, including sketches by Frank McCulloch, Alice Garver and others.
Cozy & private adobe features converted attic, sleeping loft, (low ceiling) with pressed red-wood steps, newly upgraded, for comfort and ease of access. Pull your car up in between the fence along the casita, along the wooden fence for off-street parking.
Welcome to the historic Barelas neighborhood. My favorite authentic mexican food nearby at EL Modelo, 1715 2nd St SW, Albuquerque NM 87102 Green chile cheese enchiladas. (huge portion - take out only) El Paisa, Tacos Pastor & Gorditas Desebrada en rojo, 820 Bridge Blvd SW (Tacos Pastor still $1.25 each) Kathy's 823 Isleta Blvd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, Stuffed sopapillas and Adovada breakfast Enchilada basket red chili (carne adovada filled) (my personal favorite $6)
  • Anton is a wonderful host! He is approachable and very responsive. I stayed for a whole month and was quite comfortable. The place was perfect for one or two people and the decorations were adorable! The kitchen is nice and has a Keurig that I used regularly as well as a little stove/oven. The heating is super warm and cozy. The only downside was that the place hadn’t been swept/mopped/dusted in quite a while and the blankets need a washing. Great value and would absolutely stay again! Thank you Anton for a wonderful stay!

  • Antons casita was perfect for a weekend get away in Albuquerque, he is close to Central and some amazing hole in the wall restaurants. He was prompt at returning calls, and met me with the keys as soon as I arrived. I would recommend this casita, and would stay again.

    Anna2016-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Anton was a great host. Friendly and responded quickly to a couple of questions I had. There is plenty of parking, the house is close to the zoo and the airport and downtown. As others have mentioned, the bedroom is in the loft/converted attic, but it very well decorated and, if I weren't out and about most of the time, the loft bedroom's sitting area would've been a fun place to hang out. I'd definitely stay again.

    Martin2016-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Anton was very flexible on our arrival since we were driving from Denver. He was very communicative and met us outside with the key, showed us where to park and gave us some suggestions for us to eat, play, and visit while we were in town. He also left some fun goodies for us as a thank you for staying at his location, which was unexpected and very nice! As a couples get-away, we loved staying here and greatly appreciated the ambiance that was created in his little Casita! The Safari theme was a fun twist and the bed upstairs made it seem like you were staying in a tent in Africa - super cool! The price for the place was perfect and we would definitely stay here again!

    Sarah2016-10-09T00:00:00Z

Tortuga's Art House is near Albuquerque's art district and is right next door to Tortuga Gallery. While the gallery does not have regular hours, it is open during events and by request. This cozy house is convenient to downtown, the Hispanic Cultural Center, South Broadway Cultural Center, UNM and CNM. The backyard features a pond, herb garden and shady path.
This one bedroom house is in the South Broadway neighborhood, one of Albuquerque's oldest areas. It has rustic charm and may be a little rough around the edges. The art gallery next door hosts monthly events including poetry open mic and game night. There are often concerts, poetry readings and art events. Guests are welcome to attend events that coincide with their stay. Feel free to request a viewing if there are no open times. The neighborhood began when the railroad came through Albuquerque in the 1880's. It is a multi- generational neighborhood with a diverse population. The building that houses Tortuga Art Gallery, was built in 1886 and was a General Store. It is now an art gallery and community space and a vibrant part of the neighborhood. In 2018, it was part of Albuquerque's Mural Fest and received a beautiful mural depicting the bosque of the Rio Grande.
  • Super clean, cozy space in a good location. We also loved eating some apricots from the tree out back. Logan was a great host.

  • Exceptional hosts with their art gallery next door. Delightful to speak with, and great recommendations of things to do or places to eat nearby. New Mexico has the best vegan and Ayurvedic food around!

  • Pretty good house, and friendly host.

  • e recently spent one month in Logan's and Pax's Tortuga Art House. The high point of our stay was meeting Logan and Pax who were very generous, attentive, creative and interesting hosts and we wish we could have spent more time visiting with them. As far as Tortuga Art House itself it is a charming and eclectic decorated house, but it is a work in progress with great potential, and as their first month-long guests we did leave some suggestions about things people may enjoy having and believe they will act on many of those suggestions. Pros: Large bathroom; comfortable bed; good size kitchen and cozy living area. There is a wonderful sculpted garden/yard to enjoy in the back; the gallery is a wonderful space and we were generously invited to the events; we also had good parking right in front of the house; 5-star hosts. Things to note (not pros or cons): Air conditioning is a Swamp cooler so may not be as effective when it's very hot; TV is not cable or satellite just Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc... but no local or national stations; the neighborhood is very mixed, if you travel a lot it may not be an issue; guests are requested to leave the place clean and tidy, but aren't required to do the laundry meaning if guests before you leave it very clean you'll be happy but if they don't you may have a bit of cleaning to do as we did. The washer works great but the dryer is not vented to the outside, so you may want to hang your clothes on the clothes line outside so as not to have lint and heat blowing into the house. Cons: Poor lighting in the bedroom; due to age of the house and yard you may have some bug issues - Pax did some work on this during our stay but it did persist; the little courtyard entry was a bit disheveled (as it was Pax's next project it should be great for future guests); refrigerator was a problem but it is being replaced; back door could use a screen as to allow for better cross ventilation. As mentioned, we left a list of things for consideration to add and fix and when done this will be a very comfortable place to stay.

  • Jill's place was great. It is a very spacious and comfortable home. It was convenient to everything that we wanted to do, and check in/out was super easy. Jill was there to meet us and give us tips about Albuquerque. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and baking, and is stocked with staples and everything you'd need (ie pots, pans, measuring cups, utensils) if you want to prepare food during your stay. Jill is a great host and very responsive to any messages or questions that you might have.

  • This place is incredible!! Truly amazing location and value, this quaint home was so cozy and comfortable for a short weekend away. Logan and Pax were great and made the trip SO much more enjoyable with local tips! Loved our stay in Albuquerque at this awesome house.

  • We absolutely loved our little Tortuga Art Cottage and Logan is an awesome host!!!!!! We've often dreamed of having a little cottage like this at the beach in Florida so we felt right at home. The backyard garden was a wonderful quiet place for coffee in the mornings! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

  • Tortuga House is a lovely place to stay. The house is clean and filled with lotsa art. The hosts are friendly and do their best to accommodate your needs. The location is close to downtown in a quiet little neighbourhood. Events at the gallery next door are a bonus.

Comfortable and bright one bedroom townhouse with two sleeping areas, awesome backyard with deck and ping pong table, ample parking, private garage, and interesting collection of art, in the heart of Downtown Albuquerque. Private backyard with trees, pingpong table and ample seating . Two cable TVs and internet. Fully stocked kitchen with all the tools to cook and entertain. Bluetooth speaker, two full baths. PRIVATE GARAGE
This little spot is a few blocks from Central Avenue restaurants and nightlife, close to the river, zoo, airport and highway. High fences make the green backyard very private. I am an art collector, and have stuffed the place with art. The sleeper sofa downstairs is very comfortable an easy to set up, with all bedding inside.
This is the urban core. I am a block from two courthouses, and two blocks to the fabulously hip coffee shop Zendo and the brewery Sidetrack. One block to family restaurant La Mexicana. ten minutes to the airport, four minutes to I-25 and I-40.
  • This was an incredible space, the floors were heated...like WOAHHH. Exceeded all my expectations and would stay here in a heartbeat if I ever get in town again.

  • Great location, easy check in and fabulous artwork. The bedroom was comfy and dark. Nice private outdoor space with a ping pong table. I liked the garage, too.

  • John's place was awesome! And just like a great place he was an awesome host, we traveled from Texas and got there a bit earlier than expected and thankfully he worked everything out with us, and our experience was great!

  • Everything was great about the stay. The house is full of art and very clean. I just wish the host would have been responsive to my messages. Even though the instructions for checking in and out are straightforward a response out of common courtesy would have been appreciated.

Ruthie's Place is a charming, well lit casita in a perfectly walkable neighborhood. The space features natural brick, meticulous design, and amenities to make your stay very comfortable. Staying in East Downtown (EDO) means surrounding yourself with the best dining Albuquerque has to offer, easy walkability, and simple access to Downtown, the University of New Mexico (UNM), Old Town, and Nob Hill. Whether you're in Albuquerque for work or pleasure, you'll find yourself comfortable here.
A little about the house: Ruthie's House is a 100+ year old casita (literally translated to "Tiny House"), and was a tiny house before the Tiny House movement was cool! For more than five years, the space has welcomed 400+ guests from 20+ countries, under a prior name (Casa Yucca), and remains in operation today with a breath of new life. What's with the name: Ruthie's House is named after my pet pygmy goat. She's a bundle of love, and came from a petting zoo in Roswell (long story there - you can read about it in the welcome folder when you arrive). You'll also see a couple photos of her around. The amount of joy she brings the world inspired this place, and I hope it brings you the joy she brings me. About the kitchen: It is fully equipped for light cooking, but if you're planning to bake, this might not be the best place. There is a countertop convection oven, microwave, electric stovetop, coffee pot, tea kettle, and pots and pans, utensils, an assortment of tea, and a local medium roast blend of coffee. Some of the best restaurants in town are less than a block away, so it is very tempting to not cook when given those dining options. About the bedroom / living room space: There is a 43in flat screen Smart TV, featuring access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBO Now. Those are the ones I have subscriptions to, and are provided free of charge. There are other "channels" on the Roku-powered TV to access local news in your desired areas, and a few other networks like ABC News. If you're into music, there's a vinyl record player with mostly new albums to choose from, paired with a couple classics. If you don't see an album you'd like to listen to (Don't skip Dessa), you can pair your phone or computer to the player via Bluetooth. For working, there's an adequate desk, complete with basic supplies like some paper and pens. The wireless internet is amazing in the unit (I think up to 80 mbps). The bed is a Full/Double, sleeping two, and is described as "medium firm" memory foam with a pillowtop mattress cover and fresh, clean bedding every stay. The couch can sleep one person adequately - length-wise, don't plan on sleeping on it if you're more than 6' tall. Laundry machines and detergent are provided for your use. You'll find the dryer with clean sheets/blankets/towels due to time-saving measures, but you are more than welcome to utilize the machines during your stay. I just ask that you place the clean dryer linens in the laundry basket in the closet :) The bathroom is a 3/4 bath with clean towels, washcloths, hand towels, and all amenities you'd expect. There is a hairdryer under the sink, too. Outside amenities: There's a front and back patio - the front patio has a tiny patio dining set underneath a shade and near a budding wisteria plant. The back patio features one of the most relaxing swings I've ever sat in. A few Albuquerque-specific disclaimers: - This house is located in a very walkable area across from a school, and down the street from several local restaurants and shops. It's also down the street from a food pantry. I would call this one of the best locations in Albuquerque, and the foot traffic is as diverse as you could expect in any city. - on-street parking is generally plentiful. Occasionally, film crews shoot some footage of one of the shows Albuquerque creates, like "Better Call Saul," right next to or in front of the casita. In these rare instances, you may need to park a block away and walk, but generally, that's not the case. - As in any city, don't leave valuables in your car. - While I do my absolute best to ensure there are no bugs in the space, you still may see the occasional one. I regularly schedule pest control, but bugs, unfortunately, are part of the desert city life. That being said, we rigorously clean between every stay, and ask for your understanding if you do see the occasional bug. - There's been tons of thought, planning, and neuroticism to ensure your stay will be as pleasant as possible. If you need anything at all during your stay, you are more than welcome to contact me.
East Downtown is situated between Downtown and the University of New Mexico area. This neighborhood has some amazing restaurants like: Farina (amazing pizza), Artichoke Cafe (High End Dining), G's Lunch Spot (casual, but still very good), Standard Diner (hearty meals for good prices), and the list continues east and west. The Apothecary Lounge is one of the most gorgeous bars in Albuquerque, featuring sweeping views of the mountains and the downtown cityscape - it's especially epic at sunset. The neighborhood is also considered "Historic Huning Highlands," featuring some of the most gorgeous residences in Albuquerque.
  • Excellent experience and a wonderful space. Perfect for relaxing and awesome location. We couldn’t have asked for a better Airbnb. Thank you Austin!

  • Ruthie's place was absolutely fantastic and better than I could have ever imagined it would me! You wouldn't even be able to tell that it was a tiny home just based on everything that was included and Austin gave so much great insight on places to visit that made our trip fantastic. We felt like locals and the neighbors were also so sweet to us, saying hi as they saw us and loving on my doggo as if we were new neighbors. It was a short walk to downtown and local eateries as well as a quick drive to some fantastic hiking spots. We will definitely be returning in the future!

  • Ruthie's Place is a hidden gem in the heart of ABQ - EDO! My stay here was quiet and pleasant. This tiny casita is a cozy little place. If you ever plan to stay in Albuquerque, this is it. I hope to return soon! Thank you, Austin. You've been a great host! -M. from sunny PHX, AZ

Beautiful classic decor, Queen sized bed, laptop friendly desk, private attached bath with shower, flat screen television in room with roku/netflix, wifi internet, covered patio with garden access, private access entry via side gate, complimentary coffee, tea and/or juice in the morning. This is KBGT friendly home.
My home is near downtown, old town, and literally next door to the Albuquerque country club. It is a less than 20 minute drive to the Albuquerque International Airport, Kirtland Air Force Base and Sandia National Labs. It is walking distance to Tingley Beach and the Rio Grande River with its walking and biking trails. Within 5 minutes or less by car (or a less than an hour stroll), you can reach several local attractions including the Rio Grande Zoo, Botanic Garden, Albuquerque Aquarium, Museum of Art & History, Century 14 Theater, Museum of Natural History, Explora! Science Center, Kimo Theater, Albuquerque Little Theater, Downtown restaurants, bars & concert venues, the Albuquerque Convention Center, Maxwell Museum of Anthropology, the Holocaust and Intolerance Museum, Isotopes Park, and only a short drive to the Albuquerque International Balloon Museum and Balloon Fiesta Park (15 min by car).
My neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, close to the river and directly across the street from Kit Carson Park. Every evening it is common to see people walking, bicycling, and jogging past, or enjoying the beauty of the park.

  • What a wonderful experience! Beautiful location, clean, comfortable bed, Jerry was kind and thoughtful, affordable, the suite I stayed in had a direct entrance to the fenced in back yard and a private bathroom. Jerry was wonderful to talk to, Miss Lillian (his dog) was sweet and friendly with my two dogs. Also, the house is filled with beautiful art! I will definitely be staying there again! This was, by far, my best Airbnb experience yet!

    Emily2019-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • My day started as a dream and so, naturally, I wound up at Jerry's house. Becky, Jerry's assistant, welcomed me in with open arms and got me settled. When I did get a chance to meet Jerry, he definitely made me feel right at home. We had such a wonderful and special time as he shared meals, ideas, friends, and insights. This experience has enriched my life, and I look forward to seeing them all again soon. Best wishes always! Henry

  • Jerry's place was the perfect place to rest during our first visit to the Balloon FIesta. Less than 20 minutes away, we were able to drive to the event every morning and evening easily. We loved having an attached bathroom and the ability to come and go easily as our schedules saw fit. He was very accommodating to our late arrival and departures and his dog Lily is such a sweetheart!

This bright, airy studio is located right downtown. Step out the front door to Central Avenue which is the home to many local attractions, restaurants, bars, and nightlife. 88/100 Walkscore! This apartment is located downtown and is within walking distance of coffee shops, dining, bars, nightlife, convenience stores, a laundromat, etc. There is also a bicycle rental station located just down the block. Catch a show at Albuquerque’s historic El Rey Theater, only two blocks to the east! Old Town is just a short drive away! There is quick freeway access to easily get around the city. On Saturdays (May-November) the park across the street comes to life. The Downtown Grower's Market is a local gem filled with fresh fruits/vegetables, tasty treats, and local artisan crafts. Just as with the downtown area of most major cities, Albuquerque's Downtown has a large population of eccentric, transient, and homeless people. This is something for you to be aware of but not alarmed by. I live in this neighborhood and feel comfortable walking alone or with my young children, though I do pay careful attention to my surroundings just as I would anywhere.
  • This was the perfect place to stay for a conference at the convention center. Lacy was so helpful and I knew I could reach out to her for any reason. The snack bar was much appreciated after long days at a conference and I slept soundly every night. The affordable price saved my organization money. I will definitely stay with Lacy the next time my conference is in Albuquerque.

  • Great location in downtown Albuquerque. Was at a conference downtown and the casita was only a 10 minute walk from the Convention Center! Also, rented a car for our stay and we never had an issue finding parking. Overall, great amenities, location, and Lacy is an amazing host!

    Molly2019-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • My sister & I were very satisfied with our choice of Lacy's casita! First, all communication with Lacy was clear, detailed and quick. Lacy didn't mind our late night check in of 930pm. The casita itself is clean, locally decorated, and stocked with extra blankets/towels. We found the honor snack basket to be a cute/thoughtful touch. The location worked for my sister and I because we were able to stroll into the downtown area, have a few drinks and walk home, no need for an uber or a designated driver because of the distance. Note- because of its location, the sounds of the city do flow into the casita. We are from a big city so it wasn't a bother for us. Would recommend for one to two travelers. Will book again if back in ABQ!

Spacious, bright and fun spot 10 mins away from the airport. Short walk to Downtown,Old town,River Trails and the Zoo. The outdoor living area, filled with fruit trees, fresh herbs and flowers, is an amazingly quiet and relaxing place to be . Recently remodeled everything is brand new including the most amazing bed ever!! The decor is a collection of local artists work as well as my own surrounded by comfortable fabrics, fluffy pillows, comfortable furniture and a great book and dvd collection.
Eclectic bohemian vibe, filled with lots of art and natural light. Very comfortable space with a most amazing bed and shower !

  • Zackery's home is beautifully decorated with local art. This stylish space is a quick walk to downtown- about 10 minutes. The back patio is spectacular, I only wish we had warmer weather to enjoy it. Zackery was helpful and quick to answer a call for any question. We had a wonderful stay and 100% recommend his home to anyone visiting Albuquerque!

  • Amazing little spot. Worked perfectly for a business trip but would also be great for a little land of enchantment getaway!

  • I killed several roaches after I arrived. It was late so I stayed the night and left in the morning. The host refused to refund my money for the next two nights and Airbnb has been no help. I think I got $34 back. I don't recommend this place. Roaches aside, there were other cleanliness issues and the kitchen is poorly furnished. The artwork throughout is wonderful along with an eclectic collection of books and movies. I appreciate their creativity and craftsmanship, but the place does not live up to the photos on the web site. I hope they can make some upgrades, but right now this is little more than a college crash pad.

    Don2018-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • A very eclectic place full of art and unique pieces. The outdoor space was super cool. The cherry on top is that this space is dog friendly and it has plenty of space for them to be comfortable. The location is nearby great food places and museums. It was a safe area too. Zackery was a great host and would definitely come back.

  • Zackerys place was great. Artistic, roomie, and clean. my fiancée and I loved it easy to get around from the apt to bars, restaurants, and Sandia. I’d stay here again.

    Christian2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Originally we were booked here for 10 weeks, thankfully we had it reduced to 4 weeks. We had to stay in this filthy place for 2 weeks because our RV was being repaired. The apartment was absolutely filthy. We should have left the moment we arrived. We didn’t see the host for 3 days, and when we met the host he said that it was this way because he allowed pets. The sofa was so dirty we had to use an upholstery cleaner on it and even then had to take the covers to the laundry. There was vast amounts of dirt under the sofa covers, under the carpet and even under the sofa itself. It looked like any cleaning done was to sweep the dirt under things. The kitchen was not much better. The bowels had residue food on them. Pots and pains were not clean. The only saving grace was that the bed was clean and the back yard was peace full if you could blank out the sound of gunshots in the neighbourhood. The host’s idea of cleaning appears to be a swifter and fabuloso. When we complained we were offered $150 for a meal to make up for it. We took a lot of photos and if we could show them we would. When we left, the apartment was the cleanest it has ever been.

    Stephanie2019-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great space in a safe neighborhood, and convenient to both downtown and Old Town. Absolutely loved the little artsy touches of detail. Was nice having a private backyard to relax in with tea. Very cozy casita, highly recommend.
