Welcome to our room perfectly located in the heart of Poole. Great for a few nights away, working in the area or just visiting family and friends. With its own kitchen, fast Wifi and large TV, this Cosy room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to Poole hospital, The Lighthouse theatre and Stadium with frequent bus and train services nearby.
We are pleased to offer a choice of bath or shower facilities with complimentary toiletries. Included with the room: Double bed, usb charging, fast Wifi, TV, fridge, tea / coffee, cooking facilities, crockery / cutlery, towels, bedding and parking on site. We are a 5 minute drive to Poole ferry port. Late check in is no problem. Washing machine available at additional cost via meter ( £3 ).

Onsite parking and basic kitchen facilities including a fridge, kettle, microwave and induction hob mean you could make simple meals in the room.   • Location was fab, less than 10 mins from main train station, it’s also right next to Poole Park with a lovely lake and 15 mins to Poole Quay. Clean, with enough amenities and use of kitchenette which includes microwave, cutlery, and fridge. Carina and husband Steve were very helpful and accommodating. Recommend for a stay!

  • This was such a great, convenient spot for staying in Poole. 5 mins walk from the train station, but also in a really attractive location near the lakes with plenty of beautiful places for walking. The room was perfectly clean, and the bathroom (shared) was spotless. All the basic amenities were covered - there was a convenient fridge and microwave downstairs, an extra sink in the bedroom, and towels and spare blankets. The area is calm and quiet and I got a good night's sleep here. The room is nothing fancy, but it's neat and clean and well-kept, and the value for money is really outstanding. Would definitely come back here when travelling on a budget.

    My cosy, warm 2nd floor flat welcomes you. The room’s at the rear of the building, where street noise is at a minimum. Only minutes walk both to the Quay & town centre. Close to the historic Old Town & Poole museum & lovely rooftop cafe (well worth a visit!) I provide a continental breakfast & can accommodate individual tastes, wherever possible. Bus & railway stations, ferry port, shopping centre, theatre & hospitals are extremely close by. Also near to High Street & all pubs & restaurants!
    Guests have a quiet, clean, cosy and very warm double room to themselves; with a home from home feel. There’s a chest of drawers and a large wardrobe with hangers. The guest room, as it is at the back of the flats is quieter and away from the road. The room is centrally heated, but there is a small fan heater too if needed. There are extra pillows and blankets if needed. There are bedside draws available for 2 guests’ usage. Provided are towels, toiletries & a hairdryer in the bedside drawer. Guests have use of a very recently refurbished loo & bathroom including a bath and a shower. Also a fully equipped & sunny kitchen, with a table & 2 comfy stools to eat breakfast at. My flat backs onto a quiet communal garden and is in easy walking distance to both the Quay & the town centre. Both rail & bus stations are approximately a 10 minute walk from here. Poole General Hospital is 15 mins away. The Lighthouse Theatre is an easy 10 minute walk away. The ferry terminal is a 20 - 30 minute walk away, depending on how much luggage you have – but it is also a very short taxi ride away ~ approx £5-6.
    I am right in the thick of things – only a 5 minute walk into town or to the Quayside. Getting around is very easy and there is a bus, coach and train station within a 10 minute walk from my flat. Also the Poole Town Circular bus stops around the corner from my flat. The Lighthouse Theatre is a 10/15 minute walk. There are large supermarkets ~ Sainsbury’s and Aldi’s, within a 10 minute walk from the flat. Even closer, there is a Tesco’s Express upon the key – five minutes walk, and a Little Sainsbury’s in the High Street, for your convenience ~ both are open early till late. Buses, coaches and trains to Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Weymouth, Swanage, Dorchester & London Waterloo are very frequent, often twice-hourly, depending upon the service, destination and your chosen day of travel.

Dawn's clearly put thought into what her guests need - it was nice to have some snacks and tea/coffee in our room and breakfast was really nice too with a good variety of choice.   • My friend and I stayed at Dawn's place for 3 days/2 nights. We really enjoyed staying there. Our check-in schedule changed due to train delay, but Dawn was really helpful and try to accomodate this. The apartment is spotless clean and beautifully decorated with Dawn's personal touch. Located only 9mnts walk to train station, 11mnts to bus station, and 6mnts to Poole Quay, it's a very ideal place as a base for exploring Dorset by public transportation. We visited Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door (by Visit Dorset's shuttle bus), Swanage & Corfe Castle (by ferry & steam train), Compton Acres & Sandbanks (by bus) from here. I really recommend Dawn's place and will definitely try to stay here again (if possible) when visiting Dorset again. Thank you for your amazing hospitality, Dawn!

  • This was my 1st airbnb experience and it was just perfect! Dawn's place is very clean and tidy, she has clearly put alot of thought and effort into the business with all you'd expect (towels, kettle etc), but also many extras (toiletry box with everything down to talc and razors for her guests, a variety of tea bags and snacks in room, magazines and more)! Communication was great throughout and Dawn has little notes about the place which are a great idea, my son especially loved the note with the WiFi code on! Location and parking I found great too : ) Thank you again Dawn, it was lovely to meet you! My son and I enjoyed our stay.

    The bedroom for my guests is on the ground floor. It’s newly decorated and guests can access the shower room, open plan kitchen diner and lounge which are all on the ground floor, to the back of the house.
    My house is located 2 minutes by foot from the sea front, overlooking brown sea island! It’s also conveniently positioned to Poole quay and town centre, as well as the bus station and train station, which are both 10 minutes away on foot!

    The Accommodation is located within an 'owner occupied' modern terraced house in the harbourside development of Baiter Park, in Poole. Parking Is available. NB. due to a local covenant, commercial vehicles or 'marked vans' are not permitted The room is a ground floor Double Bedroom off the lounge and has an en-suite shower / WC. It measures 8.25 square metres, and the shower room is a further 2 square metres. Towels are included, as are duvets, pillows and bed linen. There is also a hair dryer for use of the guests. Within the price, guests are welcome to help themselves to breakfast cereals, bread, butter, marmalade etc and to tea; coffee; sugar and milk. Other food, wine and beer can be used on the basis of compensation or replacement. Guests have Access to:- The hosts kitchen and Lounge/Dining Room with comfortable modern furnishings and Cable TV, DVD, Radio\CD, WiFi and access to printer if required. The (80sq ft) fitted kitchen is a well equipped with a gas cooker; fridge; microwave and a dishwasher. An electric kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery are also provided. Should you wish to do some serious cooking with your own ingredients, there are plenty of pots and pans, You are welcome to use the herbs spices and condiments from the cupboards. There is a washer/dryer for laundry plus ironing board and iron available. At the rear is a private courtyard garden with patio table and chairs. A shed houses a freezer and a folding rotary washing line. There is also a hanging facility with a heater for drying outdoor clothing. The property is no smoking but pets are accepted by arrangement. The area is residential and thus quiet. Guests are requested to respect this in their use the property, particularly in their comings and goings and use of the courtyard. The Locality:- The property is two minutes level walk from Harbourside Park and ten minutes from the bars, restaurants and shops of Poole Quay, Marina and the historic Old Town. The Bus Station is just a 10minute walk away with frequent services across Poole and Bournemouth or West to Swanage and the Jurassic Coast. The railway station is 15 minutes walk and connects to London approximately 2 hours away The Town Centre, 10-minutes walk away, offers a pedestrianized High Street with a Thursday street market. It leads via Falkland Square to the Dolphin Centre, a large two storey undercover shopping mall with all the typical high street stores. Sainsburys and Aldi Supermarkets are within 5-minutes walk. Poole Quay is only a flat 10 minute walk away and during the summer months.offers boat trips to Brownsea Island, Bournemouth, Swanage and the Isle of Wight. During the summer there are evening events on the Quay with family entertainment and fireworks. The Old Town can be explored via its narrow streets and walkways that lead off the Quay. Here you will find small antique shops and museums as well as restaurants and cafes. The area around St James’s Church and Market Street bears witness to Poole’s mercantile past. The famous Poole Pottery and Purbeck Pottery shops are to be found adjacent to the Quay. Poole Park and boating lake is a few minutes walk through the pedestrian underpass linking it to Harbourside Park. The Lighthouse (Poole Arts Centre) complex with it’s cinema, theatre, concert hall, and café, is only a 10-minutes walk, as is the Dolphin Swimming Pool. Poole’s renowned 'Blue Flag' sandy beaches are less than 4 miles by car, through Poole Park and around the beautiful Poole Harbour. The beaches of Studland can be accessed by the Sandbanks Chain Ferry and for the more adventurous there is a nationally renowned naturist section! The location also provides a good base for exploring the Purbecks or the New Forest. Cyclists and walkers are very welcome with specialist routes maps available from Tourist Office on Quay. The environs of Poole and Bournemouth provide a myriad attractions for young and old.

My room was perfect. Comfortable bed, with a spotlessly clean ensuite shower room. Richards house is situated a few minutes walk from Poole Harbour and its Quay. His house is a few minutes walk to the Harbourside park, I enjoyed walking along by the harbour seeing the lights in the evening.   • Richard was most accommodating, even with our arrival being later than anticipated and catching up with family the next night. He stayed up late to ensure we found the place alright and then showed us around the premises, including where foodstuffs were and to help ourselves which was fantastic. He had the room all set up for us with helpful directions/instructions for ease of use and even gave us a spare key to the place. The room was more than adequate with en-suite. Richard also provided us with some helpful local knowledge and history about Poole. The location was perfect shopping was close by and nearby to all the the spots that tourists like my husband and I desired to see. All in all, a great stay that I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Poole. A far cheaper option than a hotel and a far more pleasant one really. Richard is friendly, helpful and easy going.

  • Carina's place is situated in a fantastic position for everything you need in the centre of town and within easy access to the rail station. My room was perfect for what I wanted had everything I needed it was clean, sink in my room , enough storage space, drink making facilities & TV with sky. If there was one draw back about my room it was too hot but turned down radiator and opened the window which sorted out this problem. Carina was very helpful making my stay the best I could have.

    The house is a semi-detached Victorian building that is comfortable with plenty of character. Very well located for Poole Quay. Parking is available in the local car parks, or on the street; but you would have to move your car in the morning at 8am. However we are only 10 minutes walk from the train station!
    The location and homeliness are the key features. Great for exploring the Old Town of Poole, Poole Lighthouse (Arts Centre), Poole Quay and shopping centre are all within walking distance.
    The neighbourhood is quite mixed. It is the old part of Poole, with a range of housing close by. There are lovely parks close by, and a Sainsburies literally 5 minutes walk away.

  • Anthony’s place is very well situated in Poole town centre and is an easy walk to the shops, the Lighthouse Arts Centre and the Quay. The single room was small but had everything I needed and was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very welcome- muesli, fresh bread and proper coffee. Anthony was friendly and welcoming, it was lovely to meet him and his daughter. I would recommend staying here and will try to stay next time I’m working in Poole.

    My house is located near the hospital, train station , bus station and theatre.Very quiet location. double room for usually single use with bathroom next door. I have a cloakroom downstairs for myself. you will have a desk and a big wardrobe and the double bed is very comfy. wifi access ,breakfast provided (coffee,tea,croissants) 20 minute walk to quay and 10 minute walk to shopping centre, theatre.

    Fantastic central holiday location. This two bedroom home is situated on a popular development adjacent to Poole harbour. Whether walking, cycling or by car, you are well placed for so much fun.

    It is conveniently situated within level walking distance to the quayside with it's numerous bars, restaurants and shopping centre all within a few minutes walk. Visit the beautifully preserved Studland & shell Bay beaches via the chain ferry. Go fishing from the quay, take the ferry to Brownsea Island to see the red squirrels, or travel west to visit the beautiful Purbeck Hills, Corfe Castle, the Jurassic coast and Lulworth Cove. If by chance it dares to rain while you are on holiday, you can visit Tower Park for a spot of bowling, cinema or Splashdown Water Park, or see what's on at The Lighthouse Arts Centre.

  • This property is fantastic in that it is only a few minutes walk to the harbour and is modern, clean and stylish. It really is home away from home. We are a family of 5 (2 children aged 10 and 8) and a baby ( 4months) and the property was adequently sized. The communication with Nuno and Mel was super efficient and the little touches they provided (biscuits etc) were wonderful. It is always the small little touches that change something from great to outstanding. I will definitely come back if I was to visit Poole.

  • Tolles Haus an fantastischer Lage. Hafen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in naher Gehdistanz. Wunderbarer Spazierweg, am Meer entlang, direkt vor dem Haus. Etwas Strassenlärm im vorderen, zum Meer ausgerichteten, Schlafzimmer. Die hinteren zwei Schlafzimmer sind ruhig. Die hintere Seite des Hause ist an einer Sackgasse und somit sehr ruhig und privat. Bequeme Betten, viele Handtücher, gut ausgestattete Küche mit vielen Kochutensilien. Das Problem mit dem Stromausfall wurde speditiv erledigt, die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber klappte bis auf das Check-out reibungslos und schnell. Ein kleines Minus geben wir für die Distanz vom Mietobjekt in Poole zum Büro für die Schlüsselan-/abnahme, dieses befindet sich mitten in Bournemouth. Fazit: Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden wieder kommen.

    Light, spacious, clean flat with loads of character in the heart of Poole. The entire top (2nd) floor of this beautiful period building is yours to enjoy. A perfect base from which to explore all Poole has to offer - Sandbanks beach is a 10-minute drive away, offering water-sports galore. And the nearby chain ferry will take you to the Purbeck Hills/Jurassic coast, fantastic for cycling/walking.
    The first double bedroom has an en-suite shower room, while the other two have use of the main bathroom, with a bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, dishes etc. There is an oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is also an iron, ironing board and clothes dryer.   • Emily’s flat is the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Poole, the location to everything is perfect even a coffee house and Sainsbury’s next door for the essentials. The flat itself is on the top floor, ‘penthouse‘. It has 3 really good size bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it’s light and airy and spotlessly clean. Everything you need is supplied including a really good house Manuel with hits and tips. Emily is welcoming and communicative, directions were perfect and the check in/out process was so easy. If you want to stay in Poole I would really recommend Emily’s flat. We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for anything more.

The apartment had everything that we needed for a perfect stay. Ngaira, the co host, was extremely helpful and prompt in responding to all our questions before and during our stay there.   • For the second time we stayed at Carina's place and we have had very good 5 days . The room was clean and it had everything what we needed for our stay like kettle, hairdryer, towels and even had some snacks and drinks for a small charge . It was very quite in there and all other guests were very considerate about the sharing facilities like the shower. The house is close to the park and in walking distance to the harbour, train station , bus station and shopping area- very central . The hosts were very polite and helpful . We would for sure come back again .

  • The host is very welcome, room is comfortable enough. But in fact it's more 1 star hotel (or even privet roomed hostel) with shared bathroom and toilet then a room in privet house. As well the plece is extrimely noisy: cars racing through the main crossroad, cars coming and leaving gravelled parking place entare night, every pass of people from other rooms create a great noise that comes to your room. So it's comfortable more then enough for 1 short transit night stay but I'd avoid to advise this place for any other reason stay.

    A fantastic little bolt-hole a stone's throw from Poole Harbour with Baiter Park just across the way, and a five-minute walk to the lively town Quay. This is a great base for visiting the town or excursions further afield. Brownsea Island, Local Ferries, Poole Pottery and a great selection of restaurants, pubs and bars are all in easy reach, while Sandbanks, Bournemouth Beach and the chain-ferry to Studland are all within range of car-drivers, cyclists, determined runners or patient walkers!
    The whole of this little house is available for your use. It is most ideally situated with a great view of the worlds largest natural harbour. The outside is a perfect sun trap. Ideal for a barbecue or a coffee. We have been using the house as a get-away for years and its age does show a bit! However for the start of 2019 it has had new windows and a total paint redecoration, which has greatly restored it’s warm friendly atmosphere.
    Our House is very close to region called Baiter. This is a good outdoor space, and it is the Quay area for fishing boats. Next you will reach The town Quay, many day trippers, yachts, pubs and restaurants. Inland here is Poole’s town high street There is a choice of minimarkets and larger supermarkets within walking distance.

  • We loved it here, the location was amazing with wonderful views both from the first floor lounge and front bedroom across the water to Brownsea Island. We liked to sit on the lovely little balcony watching the boats. It’s a good location to explore this part of the coast. Turn right and it’s 10 minutes to the Quay, town and ferries. Turn left to the beautiful park and lake. Great for cyclists, joggers etc. The property was well equipped, with everything we needed, and some nice thoughtful touches. it was beautifully refurbished, beds looked new and were comfy. Gary’s book with visitor information was great. We would certainly return !

  • I would fully recommend this house to anyone considering Poole and the surrounding areas. The house is clean, modern and includes all of the useful amenities, just as described in the advert. The location is brilliant, with the regular boats passing, green area across the road, parking behind the property, and a short five minute walk to the harbour bars and shops. We were lucky enough to go on a week where there was lots going on very close by including a motorbike gathering along the harbour, family entertainment night and Poole harbour festival for which we received a free weekend family pass since it was along on the grass outside the house. Some of the places we visited included the Isle of Wight, Beaulieu motor museum, Bournemouth and Lulworth. I don’t have any negative points to add we feel we made an excellent choice of holiday home and would love to (and probably will) return!
