  • Nos alojamos una noche y nos tocó la habitación minúscula de abajo. No teníamos mucho espacio.

  • Brandon and Adi were such warm, welcoming people. We were the only ones there when we arrived so Adi generously moved us to a more comfortable room upstairs. The house/inn is absolutely adorable and very conveniently located right off the Main Street in town. Should you want your privacy, the rooms are very quiet and peaceful, however they're home is a very communal space. I really enjoyed having tea and talking with Adi in the living room and enjoying the company of her beautiful dog. Such an easy, enjoyable experience for the one night I was there! If I ever pass through the area again I will absolutely be staying with them again. Thank you guys!

    Gary2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • The house was fun with a lot of character in the decor but very organized and clean. The coffee and muesli in the morning was a really nice touch. Brandon was a great host, we got to meet him in the morning and he gave us some good tips about things to do nearby.

  • All was perfect and clean when we arrived.

Muchas gracias Brandon!!!

  • I had a wonderful stay at the Bridge Street Inn! My room was cozy, adorable and exactly what I needed for my short stay. The location was perfect, as it was close to both the main strip of cafes and shops as well as the ocean. Brandon was a great host too — responsive, communicative, friendly and full of helpful tips. Highly recommended.

  • My favorite part of the stay was being in Blackbarn, the building next to the Victorian home, where the breakfast was served. Blackbarn is a fairly new, modern wooden building with fun history. Inside is clean and charmingly decorated with inviting atmosphere. Bruce was welcoming and visited with guests during breakfast. Breakfast included chicken sausages, eggs, some type of baked sugary bread, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, and OJ (or coffee). My husband and I stayed in the parlor room of the Squibb House. The room was clean and the bed firm and comfortable but as expected from an old Victorian building, not spacious. The bedroom window faces the street and is barely 10 feet from the sidewalk. The walls are thin and the noise from outside the room is audible. The bathroom also was clean but very tight. The water took a long time to warm up in the shower and the toilet paper was irritatingly thin (possibly a plumbing issue?)

  • Squibb House was an excellent choice for lodging in Cambria. The location is good, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Checkin was easy, available parking right in front and back. The house is cozy and welcoming. There is tea, coffee and cookies when you arrive. A visiting friend and I drove up the coast and chose Cambria for an overnight stay and Squibb House was perfect. For evening entertainment we choose to sit in rockers on the front porch sipping wine and visiting with other travelers as they were coming and going. The breakfast is awesome and filled us for the day. I would definitely recommend Squibb House for anyone traveling to or thru Cambria.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed in the guest bedroom and we loved it! The bed was SO comfortable and the private access, mini fridge, and microwave were a huge bonus. Brandon and the girl who also host (I can't recall her unique name) were so friendly and informative-the nicest hosts you could have. If you're looking for a central location in Cambria with great host this is your place.

The Bridge Street Inn (built in the 1880's) is a cozy European style Inn with a happy hostel vibe. ROOM 3 is an upstairs private room with a queen bed and a single bed along with a shared bath. Enjoy being close to town in a casual "bed make your own breakfast" environment at Cambria's cozy European style Inn with a hostel vibe. A 3 night reservation receives 20% off the booking price. TWO REVIEWS THAT DESCRIBE THE VIBE: A quote from a guest: "There’s a decided ‘funkiness’ to the Bridge Street Inn and cottage, so if you’re the traveler who requires all things shiny & modern, need to have a space virtually hermetically sealed off from everything & everyone, or matching...this isn’t the place for you. Loved loved LOVED our stay." A quote from a guest, “Brandon is a very responsive and diligent host. Check-in was very easy and smooth with clear instructions by the door. The toilets were also very clean with instructions to notify occupants how to clean up after ourselves with the tools and materials available in the most eco-friendly way. We loved that Brandon encouraged this within the house so as to keep the space clean as well as educate people about eco-friendliness! Upon reaching the space we also found an issue with our room, which Brandon resolved for us very quickly and generously. All in all this place was our favorite during 5 day road trip down the coast because of the hospitality and comfy stay.” The Bridge Street Inn (built in the 1880's) is a cozy European style Inn with a hostel vibe located in the historic East Village of Cambria. There is a lounge with a shared kitchen and most of the rooms have shared baths. We are very close to restaurants and dining, nightlife, and outdoor activities. If you need more privacy next to the Bridge Street Inn (same property) is the Garden Tiny House. 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, living room, and bathroom. Available on Airbnb. The Bridge Street Inn is a cozy European-style guest house located in the historic East Village of Cambria. Our 125 year old building offers charm and comfort. Small and unique private rooms with shared baths (and we have one private room with attached private toilet). Our spaces have the added benefit of a shared kitchen and social atmosphere. We value reuse, recycle, repurpose. Keeping the three R’s in mind we have created a decor that is functional, funky, and fun. We are always looking for cool objects, furniture, and art to make the Bridge Street Inn a one of a kind experience. Be sure and look at the photos and the schematic of the Bridge Street Inn with room dimensions. The Bridge Street Inn offers guests a self serve healthy light museli breakfast accompanied by a coffee/tea station. Our kitchen/lounge is open for guests to use in the morning and evening. Guests have access to the Bridge Street Inn all day. The lounge, kitchen, and bathrooms are cleaned between 10AM to 4PM. During these hours there will be loud rock n roll and the sound of the vacuum we hope you won't mind the noise. Guest are encouraged to go surfing, day trip to Big Sur, take a yoga class, go paddle boarding, bicycle ride, read, make art, and hike. We also have BBQ facilities. The property is within easy walking distance to highly rated restaurants and quirky Cambria shops and we are one mile from beautiful Moonstone Beach. Parking is free and plentiful, and yes, we do have Wifi (no t.v.'s, though). Cambria is a quintessential California beach town and artist enclave that offers up a variety of meaningful and inspiring activities for the artist, musician, foodie, nature lover, hiker, surfer, and bicycle rider within city limits. Hiking trails through the forest and along spectacular coastline await. Visit Morro Bay or San Simeon Cove nearby for a paddling excursion sure to be a highlight of your trip. Cambria is located 8 miles from Hearst Castle, 22 miles from the southern Big Sur hiking trails, and 4 hours from San Francisco and Los Angeles. "to describe my experience at Brandon's Inn seemed to me too inefficient without including some of the other senses, that's the reason for doing it like the following: seeing the Inn is sweet, white wooden fences, white exterior lovely hand painted signs, Geraniums and Calendula fights for the best spot to show off, the lavender as well peppermint struggles for the best place with Blackberries and all over the property is capuchin cresses the interior is surprisingly spacious. We will be witness how Frank Zappa meets Martha Stewart: Art on walls, flowers on bedsheets and linen ..every room a new impression .. from Grannies Home to flowerpunk your eyes will soak in all hungrily. touch: besides that wood has always a warm touch ( the house the fences ,the chairs in every room and in most of the showers, big dining table made out of one big slice of tree ) the sheets, are soft and cozy, Books to touch. old vinyl to discover and to handle with care, in the backyards: mystic pathways, berries to pick, and fennel to rip. hearing: music! radio or old vinyl records, birds, turkeys, raccoons and their tiny feet scurrying over the roof, a deer running majestically along the mystic path, wind whispering through tree tops and if the wind is in the right direction you can listen to the mammals singing underlined with the orchestra of sea waves smell: Sea air, pines, Californian sagebrush, capuchin cresses, fennel, berries, old wood, coffee, cinnamon, air dried laundry, lavender, geraniums, lemongrass, lemons and cherry prune." -Ursel Waldorf, writer, director and Bridge Street Inn guest.
A 3 night reservation receives 20% off the booking price. Why stay 3 nights? Day 1: 8 miles North of the Inn is the Hearst Castle The Castle offers multiple daily tours. Across from the castle is the William Randolph Hearst Memorial Beach. Sea for Yourself Kayak Outfitters offers tours and kayak/paddleboard rentals. A short walk from the beach is Sebastian's General Store. Inside you can enjoy a causual-chic grass fed Hearst burger and the Hearst Ranch Winery wine bar. Day 2: 23 miles North of the Inn is Salmon Creek Falls. This is your opportunity to explore the southern part of Big Sur. Between Cambria and Salmon Creek Falls are many unpopulated beaches with no cell phone reception. One of my favorites is Carpoforo Beach. Salmon Creek Falls trail system offers amazing picnic spots like at Estrella Camp, swimming holes, and hiking. Just south of Salmon Creeks Falls is Ragged Point. A perfect stop to enjoy a cup of coffee with amazing views. Also between Cambria and the falls are the most interesting critters called Elephant Seals. Well worth a stop. Day 3: Cambria day to have a no drive day. Explore the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. Catch the trail a few blocks from the Inn. Hike all the way to the ocean. The Wine Down Cottage in the heart of Cambria's Lodge Hill. This rustic American ranch home was completely remodeled with the travelers wishes in mind. It's the ideal place for that get away retreat with that loved one and family. (We do allow dogs but there is a 75.00 pet fee. Please inquire before booking)
The complete whole house and yard is available for our guest except the detached garage which is locked for cleaning services and supplies.
Our neighborhood is nice. A few houses over from the cottage is a 4 star restaurant and lounge that has nightly entertainment. Great walking distance to have fun.
  • Once you stay at Diane’s Wine Down Cottage in Cambria, you will want to stay there again and again. Super location to get to San Simeon and Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seals viewing areas. Easy Walking distance to Pines Lodge for dinner and breakfast. Cottage is super clean and comfortable! Diane is a super host! You won’t be sorry if you book here!

  • Beautiful house ! Even better than the pictures, the bed is SO comfortable and we have never seen a kitchen as much equipped ! I would go back there anytime and recommend this accommodation to my friends !

    Julien2016-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our group (two families - 4 adults, a toddler, and a baby) and felt stylish, comfortable, and cozy. The property felt very private too, especially the hot tub area! We had high expectations based on the description and pictures and it exceeded them easily. The location is perfect for getting easily to/from downtown Cambria, and was a great home-base for visiting with family in town & a wedding in Ragged Point. Hot tubbing after returning from the wedding was the icing on the cake! We would absolutely stay here again whenever we come back to the area, and I love knowing we could take our pup next time also! PS, it is next to a fire station, but there were zero noise issues, and the only reason we even knew they were there is because my son went running to the window to yell and wave every time he saw them drive by. :D

  • It was such a cozy place! The host have very helpful and responsive. We are already thinking to book this place again next year!

  • Diane’s place is better than the pictures! Great neighborhood, great location! Clean, everything needed plus more, and comfortable! I love that Tv’s we’re in both bedrooms and the bedrooms were separated from each other with a nice distance for privacy. Beautiful, fully equipped kitchen!

  • This place is excellent for dogs. The fenced yard is great. The location is wonderful, very quiet but not far from Main st. with it's cafes and shops and just down the road from Heart Castle and the elephant seal rookery. Recommended.

    Quiet, sunny , Mountain views.
  • Rick was so hospitable and welcoming (we didn't meet Susan, but we're sure she would've been as well), we really felt we'd like to stay in town longer than we did. Luckily three days was enough time to see seals, otters, skunks, zebras, and all sorts of birds we don't have in Finland. The apartment was cozy and delightful. Rick & Susan left us some granola bars, yogurts, coffee etc. and a nice bottle of red wine. The tv had every channel & streaming app you could ask for. We would definitely stay here again.

    Anton2018-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Susan and Rick are kind people. Great place to stay in Cambria. Will stay there again.

  • Sweet place! Adorable garden! Cozy room with a little living room, great amenities. Lovely bottle of wine left for us along with some chocolates and some fruit! Above and beyond! Will be back !

    Maria2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay at Susan & Rick's place. I arrived amidst the chaos of 4th of July along Highway 1, and their place was a perfect respite. Check-in was super-easy & their place was a comfortable retreat while exploring the area. It was nice to have my own entrance, and also nice to connect with the hosts. Great balance of privacy & connectedness!

    Juliana2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing, kind hosts. The location is ideal for local site seeing.

    Julia2019-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for two. The couch is so comfy and its nice to just hang out and watch tv and the end of the day. Everything they have is very nice and high quality making the small space so much cozier. The perfect amount of privacy and friendliness from the hosts. I loved it, I would absolutely stay here again. The downtown area is so cute and fun to walk around, the Susan and Rick offer great suggestions of where to eat and give detail as to what to expect there. They also give good suggestions of what to do while you are there, we hiked near the San Simeon peer and it was so beautiful. We had a very lovely time.

    Molly2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful stay at Susan and Rick's studio. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The scenery and view is so beautiful and the location is close to all restaurants, shops, and tourists spots. The photos do not do the studio justice, the studio was absolutely adorable and i felt like i was at home. There is lighting fast wifi, cable, coffee maker, and microwave. Susan and Rick were wonderful hosts!!!

    Raquelle2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • We never met Susan, but Rick said hi and was very friendly and helpful. They provide a notebook in the unit with helpful tips on places to eat, sites to see, and the corresponding pamphlets. The full bathroom is nice, but instead of doors there are curtains to separate the sink/fridge area from the toilet/bathtub area (not noise proof, if you're sensitive to that). There are a lot of channels on the 2 tvs and a small library of books you can read if you have the time. We arrived after dark and didn't see the designated visitor parking, but it is nice to have your own spot near the door.

Gateway to Big Sur, minutes fro Hearst Castle and lovely downtown Cambria. Close to Morro Bay. Wonderful hiking trails abound!! Walk through the woods to the ocean bluffs, with trails leading down to Fiscalini Ranch by the water.
  • My friend and I booked a last minute 1 night stay with Mary Anne - we are so grateful she took us in on such short notice! She was so warm and welcoming!! We were driving down the coast and needed a place to stay to break up the trip. This little studio was perfect. The best part was the morning walk along the boardwalk. We'd definitely love to stay in this Cambria studio again!

    Colleen2014-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mary Anne and Ames are welcoming, warm and lovely people. The studio room is very comfortable and well stocked with complimentary treats. This is a great place to stop on a Pacific Coast Highway trip and it is only minutes away from Hearst Castle. I would love to stay here again if I get the chance to do another PCH adventure.

    David2014-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Mary Anne and Ames place is a true gem! After a long drive up the coast it was exactly what my husband and I needed. The place is cozy and so comfortable, warm and inviting. It has everything you need and Mary Anne graciously left us with bagels, snacks, water, soda and even a few beers! My husband left his wedding ring and she immediately notified us and was so sweet! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Cambria!

    Catrina2014-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Had a very peaceful night at Mary Anne's. Took a walk down to the ocean (15 minutes away on foot), which is beautiful, watched a DVD, slept very well. Highly recommend this little studio to anyone passing through Cambria.

  • What a gorgeous place! We wish we could have stayed longer. Mary Anne was a fantastic host and thought of many little details to make us feel more comfortable and happy. She is a lovely lady and I am so glad to have met her. The place has everything you need. It was the perfect place to stay. I highly recommend it.

  • Had an excellent stay

  • We were as charmed by these lovely accommodations as we were with the Central Coast itself. Incredibly clean, quiet and cozy with easy access to all of the natural wonders surrounding Cambria, including the Fiscalini Ranch preserve right down the street - an amazing place for beautiful Pacific sunsets. Mary Anne and Ames were so helpful with their recommendations and were more than gracious as hosts, even going so far as to leave snacks in the cottage alongside a binder chock-full of info on the area. We'll definitely be back the next time we are in Cambria!

    Phil2015-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing host and home . a cozy cottage with great hiking trails within a few mins walk to the coast. The town of cambria is great and within driving distance to all other areas of slo. The home itself is cosy and clean. With a large bathroom fully stocked kitchen and comfy bed. There are lots of activities to be done in the area and lots to be seen. We were quite surprised to walk outside one morning and see three deer enjoying their breakfast at a neighbours house . We got awesome wildlife photos. We were treated to a wonderful private concert and mary anne even cooked for us. Exceptional hosts

The cute Cambria cottage is next to the Bridge Street Inn (not shared), with a kitchenette (not full kitchen), private garden & BBQ. It's family-friendly and close to activities, dining, and nightlife. You’ll love it because of the quiet location, garden & neighborhood, though steps away from the great places in Cambria's East Village; like the Cafe, Linn's on the corner, Bonni's Tacos, Robins & the new True Earth Market. Families and groups of friends will enjoy this low-key Cambria getaway.
The cottage is by no means a quaint little tiny home modeled on the HGTV network or offers the staleness of a McMansion. From its low front door handle to its terrarium (look at the windows in the pic) type bedroom it's sure to please lots of people but not everyone. Guests use a wide vocabulary of different words to describe the cottage. Here are a few examples: good value, comfy, marvelous, relaxing, cozy, funky, and rickety. It is what it is. Enjoy:) A 7 day rental receives 20% off and a 3 night rental receives 15% off the booking price. Here are two reviews that describe the charm of the cottage: "So fun to return to a special memory and now bring our kiddos! This is one of our favorite places. There’s a decided ‘funkiness’ to the cottage, so if you’re the traveler who requires all things shiny & modern, need to have a space virtually hermetically sealed off from everything & everyone, or matching...this isn’t the place for you. Loved loved LOVED our stay." “Rustic, charming, quaint, authentic. Great little cottage in a great location. We happened to be there on one of the coldest nights of the year and, with the ample heating and extra blankets, we were all double extra cozy. Heads-up: if you're looking for a 5-star hotel experience, this ain't it. But if you're looking for a genuine old school cottage a short walk from the best part of Cambria, this is the ticket. Super quiet, charm out the wazoo, cozy factor off the charts. And Brandon is an amazing host. We would definitely book this one again.” Information and common questions from House Guests: Our kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, knives, dishes and silverware. We try to avoid paper (in the kitchen) as much as possible... Yes, bathrooms are fully stocked with TP. We provide all the linens, including small towels on each bed, but we do encourage guests to bring their own towels. Intentionally, we have rather small towels that wash and dry quickly and they aren't the same plush thick things that some guests may be used to. Thick towels take a lot of space in the laundry and are very slow to line dry hanging outside, too, so in our efforts of sustainable and water wise operations, there is a reason for small towels, but please feel free to bring your own if you wish. The Garden Cottage shares a gate with the Bridge Street Inn (Airbnb rental). There is a local health food market called Soto's True Earth Market on the corner about 2 minutes walk away, and supermarket about 1/2 mile away with anything you don't quickly find.
A 3 night reservation receives 15% off the booking price. Take a book, postcards, and journal to Moonstone Beach. Enjoy historic Cambria's many restaurants, coffee shops and yoga studios within walking distance of the cottage. When planning your Cambria trip don't forget your surfboard to surf weirdo's break, sturdy boots to hike Fiscalini Ranch Reserve, bicycle to pedal to the elephant seals, yoga mat to use at Tula Yoga, a thirst for coffee/wine/beer tasting, an empty belly to enjoy delicious restaurants, Friday aesthetic dance, and reusable grocery bag to fill with locally grown Cambria produce from Soto's True Earth Market for epic picnics or meet the farmers at the Friday farmer's market.

  • The cottage was relaxing for my friend and I. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The shower was huge. And the kitchenette was adequate for our needs. Aimee was completely helpful and friendly when we needed her. She even allowed us to see the bigger house which was an old parsonage to the church next door. The location was amazing. It was walking distance to many tasty fine food restaurants and affordable options. And we could walk to Moonstone beach. We had a lovely experience. One unusual aspect to this unique cottage is that when you enter, you enter into the sink part of the bathroom. Definitely not a problem, just quirky. I would certainly come back.

  • The cabin was basic but it had everything we needed. It was great for the few days that we stayed. The loft was very popular with the kids. Brandon was helpful and always responsive over txt. The walkability was great and just a short drive to Moonstone Beach.

  • Garden Tiny House is full of character and rustic vibes. Nestled in an herb and flower garden, this place is a calming pleasure to come home to after exploring the area; but it's the people who live and work there that make it a very special place.

    Christopher2017-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • the whole structure has a lot of skylights and windows like it’s a sunroom, it’s not insulated which makes the temperature of the room very low at night time and very hot at day time. The bed sheets that we got that day wasn’t clean with an unpleasant odor. The bathroom location is at the entrance so there is no privacy at all. I am pretty sure that structure was not suppose to be a living space, all the door openings are very low so if you are more than 5’9 height I will be very careful there.

  • My husband and I stayed for three nights for Labor Day weekend during a heat wave. Kolynn provided a fan to help with the heat since there is no AC. The fan was enough for us and all we needed to stay cool. The place is very clean, quiet, and the bed is very comfortable. It is private, you have your own entrance so you can come and go without worrying of getting in the way. There is a mini fridge, coffee, tea, tea kettle, French press, and two cups in the room. When we arrived Kolynn greeted us and gave us great tips on places to visit in the area. Thank you for everything Kolynn.

    Carmen & Arnulfo2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Kolynn's place was clean with easy check in. Her home was close to Main Street, a sleepy town with some restaurants.

  • If you're looking for a quiet, very clean, affordable stay, you've found the place. It was my first time staying at an airbnb and it won't be my last thanks to Kolynn. She was nice, approachable, fast to respond and ready to answer questions to make my stay comfortable.

    Dacoda2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Generous hosts allowed us a “late check-in”. We never met our hosts, they honored our privacy. We were greeted by a deer (at the fence line/driveway) ~ What a beautiful way to end our day of travel! Unit was large and comfortable. Coffee offered (by a French Press). Small floor space heater was a “Plus” for us!

    Judith2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here one night in September on our way down the coast. Was comfortable and clean. Check in/check out was easy.

    Megan2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful place to stay! The suite was very comfy and clean. We enjoyed having our own entrance so we didn’t have to disturb the host or anyone else in the home. The place is very close to downtown Cambria and about a 7 minute drive to moonstone beach. The only issue which is an issue throughout all of Cambria is cellular service. But no worries! Kolynn provides WiFi! As well as clean towels, French press and refrigerator.

We can boast that we have the best weather on the planet. Sunnier then the coast and not nearly as hot as the inland valleys. It's quiet and beautiful. Stars are amazing on clear nights. We have 20 acres so roaming is encouraged. We have hundreds of birds, and other wildlife is frequently spotted. We are across the road from a creek and taking a walk along it is one of our favorite things. We have 2 adjacent rooms available. Both may be booked if you are traveling with another couple.
This is a over 100 ear old unique property that is quiet & serene. The views are lovely & weather is mild. The rooms are on the second floor with their own private entrance through the front door.
Cambria is a charming village by the sea. It's a great place to kick back & relax with hikes, walks on the boardwalk, beaches or in the country. Bike rides are fun & one of the best restaurants in the county, Robin's is worth a visit. The historic Hearst Castle is a 25 min drive & the elephant seals are an interesting sight. SLO county is second to Napa in wine tasting so there are lots of yummy wines to taste & many of the wineries are a lovely country drive away.
  • Comfortable home, with bonus greetings from friendly cats & dogs!

  • Nelson and Maureen do a wonderful job of putting together a package that really works great! They make you feel welcome, provide a great little happy hour (a highlight!) to get to know the other guests. The breakfasts are out of this world! Thanks you two, for the wonderful time we had and all of the great information about the nearby attractions and eateries!

    John2018-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Olallieberry in was the perfect little getaway for the long weekend! Wine hour and breakfast are included (both delicious) and both Nelson and Maureen had great recommendations for things to do around the area! Can't wait to go back!

    Lauren2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nelson and Maureen’s bed and breakfast far surpassed my expectations. Loved the music and Beatles theme and I loved that they allowed us to play the instruments they had available. The breakfast was prepared perfectly every morning and it was enough food for even someone like me with a large appetite. The bed was really comfortable, and everyone at the inn was so accommodating, genuine, and friendly. Nelson and Maureen really know how to run the best bed and breakfast in Cambria and their hospitality and kindness are unmatched anywhere else. My girlfriend and I plan on staying here again on our next trip to Cambria.

    Kevin2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Charming B&B in the perfect location in Cambria. Walk to shops and restaurants, and enjoy the little slice of heaven and all the natural beauty of being in a beautiful garden on the edge of Santa Ross Creek. Nelson and Maureen couldn’t be nicer or more helpful! Highly recommend Wild Ginger, Linn’s or the Sow’s Ear for dinner- all a short walk from the Inn.

  • Hospitality and kind people to help with accommodations.

  • A charming reprieve from everyday life. Nestled along the coast this bed and breakfast will truly delight: from the beautiful garden to the generous hospitality. Your hosts and staff are well versed in all the local places and activities. Coastal paths make for a car free weekend if you choose.

Non- smoking property. Non- smokers only, please. My place is close to beach, hiking, shopping, restaurants. My place is good for couples, friends, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
This home is new to the rental market and priced below market value because we want you to check out our beautiful new home! We know you will love it! Our house is a licensed vacation rental, in full compliance with area ordinances. This single-story home with five stairs to the entrance offers comfort and charm from the moment you enter. It is just a two-minute walk down the street to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve & bluff headland walking trails, where you can walk all the way to see the ocean along the Ranch trail. The most outstanding natural feature of the preserve is the dramatic ocean bluff that runs more than a mile along the shoreline that rests within the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary where in season you can view migrating whales, elephant seals and other ocean mammals. It is a short 1.5 mile drive to Cambria East Village, a .9 mile drive (or walk!) to the Harvey Street public beach access at Sherwood Avenue , and about 2.7 miles to the popular Shamel Park and Beach area. This completely updated, single level home is beautiful. Bamboo flooring is accentuated by high baseboards, and custom painted walls are topped by crown molding. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated, with granite counters in the former and slate and stone in the latter. You will find an open floor plan featuring a sun-filled living and dining area. Handcrafted woodwork can be seen on the artistic front door and guest bathroom mirror, and unique touches are visible throughout the entire house. Skylights and unusual light fixtures make even looking up enjoyable. New dual pane windows are covered by new plantation shutters. The backyard has a large deck, lots of beautiful vegetation, and a few rustic outbuildings. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after days of combing the beach and hiking the trails and shopping downtown. Out front is a view of wooded, vacant lots and the wildlife that enjoys open space in Cambria. You will fall in love with this home! Enjoy the Keurig, coffee maker, wonderful kitchen pots and pans and everything you could possibly need to cook and bake. Bring your own pods or ground coffee; coffee filters provided. The freezer has an ice maker and there is water in the refrigerator door. There are games and puzzles, and outdoor games including Ladder Toss and Corn Hole. Our home also offers cable Wi-Fi if you have to bring your work with you or just want to stay connected. There are four Smart TVs in this house. There's one in the living room, and there is one in each bedroom. The living room and master bedroom also have Spectrum cable. You can log into your own accounts on any of the TVs to watch your favorite shows and movies! There is also a DVD/Blu-ray player in the living room; bring your favorites! There is comfortable seating for 6 people in the living room. There are three amazing recliners, and the two ends of the leather sofa recline! It's a perfect room for relaxing in after a wonderful day out and about. Two of the bedrooms offer California king size beds. The 3rd bedroom has twin beds for flexibility in sleeping arrangements. All the beds & mattresses are new, very comfortable & have beautiful bedding designed for a peaceful sleeping experience. Front entry area of the home has a wonderful porch from where you can watch the deer, squirrels, Blue Jays, redheaded woodpeckers, wild turkeys, and other wildlife in the vacant lots across the streets. There are five steps up to the single level home. We have bird feeders and squirrel feeders in the front and backyard, so bring some unsalted peanuts in the shell and or bird food to enjoy the beautiful birds and critters feeding! The front and back have pretty landscaping and have plenty of sweet places to sit & enjoy the landscaping or take in the sea air. Enjoy the 6-person HotSprings hot tub in the beautiful back yard and e outside dining table and chairs. The backyard is completely fenced in. There is also a "secret room" in the backyard with a gas stove fireplace and plug in lights. Enjoy a glass of wine by the fire outside in the cool evenings! Come & enjoy the peace & tranquility our home has to offer along with sunsets, good cheer & memories to be made with each other or with friends while exploring all that Cambria & the Central Coast has to offer. PLEASE NOTE: The INSTANT QUOTE DEFAULTS TO THE MINIMUM # OF GUESTS REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER YOU ARE REQUESTING A QUOTE FOR & DOES NOT INCLUDE CLEANING & FEES. The rate does NOT include a 12% occupancy tax, which Airbnb will automatically add to your total when you request a quote and check out. Our neighborhood is quiet and full of beautiful pine and Oak trees. There's a vacant lot right across the street from our house. From the front porch you can watch deer, squirrels, and birds feeding and playing. If you walk a couple blocks down the street from our house, there is a trail head to the Fiscalini Ranch Trail Preserve.
  • Lovely house, we particularly loved the outdoor space and short walk to the nature preserve. Would highly recommend!

  • Katy is an awesome host. Very clean house and nice amenities. Feels like a home away from home. Definitely recommend for a quiet weekend away

    Rachel2018-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Katy's Squirrel Cottage made an ideal base for us to tackle our area hit list: visit Hearst Castle, view the elephant seals and stroll along Moonstone beach. We made use of the well-equipped and spacious kitchen. We ended up eating breakfasts and dinners in on both days of our stay. The fancy Keurig machine makes good coffee — I was proud of myself for arriving with a box of pods to fit. The house is attractive, well-laid out with two king-sized bedrooms (one ensuite) and a twin room. Everything seems new. We had chilly days so were happy that the heating system worked well to keep the house at an even comfortable temperature while we were "at home". The hot tub was the luxury that made us choose Squirrel Cottage over other places and it did not disappoint. Clean, hot, bubbly and easily accessible on the back deck.

    Tony2018-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place! Quiet, clean, and comfortable. There are hidden treasures everywhere. The trailhead for Fiscalini Ranch Preserve was right down the street. We felt like we were miles away from civilization. The front porch was so relaxing and the deer were beautiful. Thank you, Katy! We would like to come back again.

  • Katy is an outstanding host. Her property included everything we needed for our honeymoon plus a little more. It was secluded and quiet. We will definitely stay with her again at some point....perhaps we will book the place again to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

    Jason2018-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • My experience with Katy and her home was exceptional. Katy goes out of her way to make sure you have the best experience and that everything is in order while you are there. The home and yard is super clean and well taken care of. The neighborhood is on a side street and super quite. The furnishings are "upper class" and the cupboards are stocked with all the spices and condiments to cover any dish you might decide to cook. There is a BBQ for your outdoor cooking available on the back deck. The hot tub is "hot" and ready to go, no waiting for it to heat up!! I will definitely be booking more stays with Katy in the future.

  • My childhood girlfriends of 40+ years and I had the best time during our recent 2 night stay at “The Squirrel House” in Cambria, CA. Katy was the best host we could hope for. All of the communication leading up to the stay was quick, helpful and professional. This was the first time any of us used Airbnb, and we were all pleased with the entire experience, and would use Airbnb again. The rooms in the house were much larger than the pictures, and that was a pleasant surprise. We were impressed with the entire house, and all of the amenities and details Kathy has thought of for our stay. We LOVED all of the “extra’s we found during our stay such as quality soaps/shampoos in the bathroom, ample dishes, kitchenware for what we needed, extra towels, linens, games, books, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening, followed by stargazing in the backyard patio. The “Squirrel House” felt VERY comfortable and felt like home. We also felt very safe in the neighborhood. The location was perfect as we were close to town, restaurants, the beach, wineries, etc. The first night we had dinner at “The Sea Chest” in Moonstone Beach area. The 2nd day we had a wonderful late lunch at “Linn’s” in downtown Cambria (Save room for dessert!). Also don’t miss the little town of Harmony which only a few minutes south of the house on Highway 1. We had best time at “The Squirrel House” and look forward to returning again soon. Hiking trail entrance to Fiscalini Nature Preserve is at Trenton Ave. less than a block away. There is also an entrance at Warren st and Tipton st. A few minutes walk from the house
  • Jason's place had it all: peaceful, cleanliness, full kitchen, beautiful scenery, and walking distance from trails that end at the beach! Our stay was perfect.

  • This sweet loft is located in a very quiet neighborhood that is close to a nature preserve and Cambria village. A lot of thought went into providing all the amenities one would want for a short or extended stay. As you pull up to the driveway, you are greeted by a beautiful oak tree. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and hanging out on comfortable couch. The upstairs bed is very comfortable and cozy. This loft is nicely decorated and super clean!! We look forward to returning in the future.

  • This house is fantastic. Wonderful location - it's really one of the best Air BnB experiences that we've had. Everything was extremely clean and all the furniture and accessories were of very high quality. Lovely mattresses and sheets (including the sofa bed, which like the main bed has a Tempur mattress). WE enjoyed seeing the wildlife all around the property, including spying a deer in the garden and seeing wild turkeys on the adjacent road. A memorable experience.

    Henrike Martina2018-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • The house is impeccable. Everything was super clean (the towels smelled so fresh!), the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities covered all of our needs. We like to prepare some of our meals at home and the kitchen was very thoroughly equipped. And a nice touch was the selection of fresh coffee beans that we ground and brewed each morning for breakfast.

    David2018-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • A comfortable, clean, stylish, small house. Nothing to do, besides neighborhood walks with the deer, within short, walking distance. However, a quick drive gets you to downtown Cambria, which is quaint and enjoyable. A 20-30 minute drive will get you to Morro Bay, which is another interesting tourist town.

  • Beautiful location and the best cottage you could ever hope to stay in while enjoying your Big Sur Road trip. It matches the vision. :) Easy access, sparkling clean, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We loved it so much that we quickly adjusted our schedule to include a full day home to just enjoy this place. 15 minutes away from Hearst Castle. Lots to do in Cambria and surrounding areas.

  • A quaint spot with lots of natural light and views of the woods, which included many passing deer! It's close to Fiscalini Ranch, as well a short drive to town. It's cozy, and yet has modern appliances and upgrades, including Wi-Fi. Had it not been raining, we would've taken advantage of the large deck. We loved the upstairs bedroom with its large skylights and clawfoot soaking tub, and we'd be most happy to return!

    Jim2018-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • You may see some turkeys around the area and deer. Be careful when driving as they bound right across the road in front of your car. But they are so cool to see.

    Cheryl2018-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • A really nice place. I liked all of the original art and cools books around the house. The two bedrooms were really nice; however they need to upgrade the pull out couch- it was very uncomfortable and I ended up just sleeping on the floor. They could also do with some landscaping outside maybe put a little fire pit out there.

This cozy room is upstairs in the Carriage House, King bed* which faces the fireplace, sets the mood for reflection, romance ... or both. The bath is in-room with tub and shower. This is the best spot in town! Beautiful custom home on a few pristine acres. Bordering a nature preserve, and right downtown in the heart of the old East Village of Cambria, you couldn't find a better location. Feels like you're in the woods, but just a short walk to everything in minutes including restaurants, organic market, shops, Cambria's Mozzis Saloon, wine bars, coffee, massage and beauty studios, and more. The beach is a 5 minute drive, Hearst Castle 12 minutes, Big Sur 30 minutes.
Custom home for family gatherings, parties, and much more. Nestled on a hill next to a nature preserve, but right downtown. The feel of being in the woods, with everything you need in a few minutes walk. PLEASE NOTE: this is a ranch home and pet friendly. The house is thoroughly and professionally cleaned after each guest leaves, but you can’t get rid of every single dog hair and bug on this property. The home is unique and quirky, look through the whole description before booking please! This is a fun location, and we are fun and friendly hosts! We ask for fun and friendly guests please! The house is 3 bedrooms, 1 large bathroom, with laundry, full custom kitchen, large living room, and dinning room/pool room with a pool table that has a wood top to convert into a large table. 60" TV, DVD player, PlayStation 4, board games, books, deluxe coffee/tea/drinks bar, BBQ and fire pit, amazing deck for relaxing and entertaining, pool table, yard and property to run around and relax... This place is a gem! When you're here, you feel like you're in the woods, but you're just a short walk to everything in minutes including restaurants, organic market, shops, Cambria's Mozzis Saloon, wine bars, coffee, massage and beauty studios, dog park and more. The beach is a 5 minute drive or a 20 min walk, Hearst Castle 12 minute drive, Big Sur 30 minute drive. So many fun things to do are very close by, and we are happy to answer any questions as well as give you recommendations on things to do, see, and places to eat 🌞 Please note this home is unique, rustic and custom. The floors are old large wood slab, and brick. They are not perfectly smooth or level and there are 3 areas where the elevation changes between 3” and 8”. Our bathtub is a large free standing tub, great for enjoying baths, and comfortably fits 2.
In the heart of the old village of Cambria. Charming, romantic, peaceful, beautiful. Everything you could want and need in walking distance.
  • Charming cottage in perfect location!

  • Buddy’s eclectic home was spacious for my family of five and you couldn’t ask for a better location. The live edge wood throughout the house was gorgeous. We would definitely stay there again.

  • Great location in a super convenient location along Main St yet quiet and peaceful. Rustic appeal in a modern place with many personal touches.

  • This house is awesome. Best location ever. We spent most of our time on that great deck. The house is fully stocked and totally comfortable.

  • Location is the best in town. Buddy is responsive and eager to ensure his guests have a great time. Perfect place for our family of five (three teens) and two little dogs. We e joyed walks into town, lounging on the lovely porch, and visiting nearby Moonstone Beach. Another review mentions lack of curtains; the place now has nice blackout curtains in each bedroom. We had a perfectly lovely stay. Thanks, Buddy!

    Chris2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Buddy is a great host who’s working hard to make sure his guests have a great stay. The house is very unique with beautiful woodwork throughout. Lots of windows but could use some curtains to block the morning sun for sleeping. Great deck with comfortable seating that feels private even though you look over the Main Street in town. You feel away from town but have a gory walk to most everything and a short drive to the beach. We enjoyed William Randolph Hearst Beach but for about an hour drive you can go to Sand Dollar Beach. Thanks for a great home base for our family vacation.

  • Clean, cozy, and modestly appointed cottage! Location is great - completely walkable to restaurants & shopping - short drive to Moonstone Beach. It has an amazing deck and although everything is happening just a few steps down the street, it is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. My new favorite place to stay in Cambria!

    Kim2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This vacation far exceeded our expectations, largely because this home was so beautiful with high quality amenities (heated bathroom floors, themastate controlled Gad fire place, California king bed etc.) and the perfect location in town. We were blocks from the Main Street in the middle of east village. The home is also dog friendly with a fenced in yard and beautiful porch.

  • A very nice place that was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The king size bed was super nice to sleep in. Great location as well. Walking distance to coffee, restaurants, liquor store, etc.

  • What an awesome little Cottage! If you're looking for a super quiet place to relax while visiting Cambria, this is the place! It happens to be on a small dirt road that NO ONE drives on. I don't think we heard one car drive by while we were there. I really liked this place, I'll probably book it again the next time we visit.

  • A nice rental in a great location! I did have problems with allergies here, due to scented laundry detergents on the linens, and a mold smell in the garage. Otherwise, it was great! Kathleen

  • This was a beautiful place in a great location. We were about a minute from the east end of down town, but the location felt secluded and peaceful. Would recommend for a weekend getaway.

  • It was a nice place, feels like you are in the middle of the forest but you have some neighbors around. The back outside patio has a nice view of the trees, very peaceful. The place was clean, except for the occasional outside bug that would make its way in, but bug spray is provided! Overall the place is nice and homey and comfortable. Felt just like home!

  • This house was great! Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed for preparing meals. We very much enjoyed the fire pit on the deck. We loved how close this house was to the preserve, great trails for walking and running.

  • Great stay!

    Eugene2019-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • I definitely can not recommend this property to stay at through Airbnb. It is in much need of updates and a carpet replacement as well as new paint. It lacks in cleanliness and has no window screens to open windows. This property is in need of a full update inside and out. The location is close to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve however it is up a bit of a drive on a narrow dirt road. It also boasts a steep driveway which are car bottomed out on upon backing up. We chose not to stay at this property. It is a 1 star property at best. We do give Scenic Coast Property a 5 star review and want to personally thank Amber for her genuine concern and hospitality in finding us another property to stay at in Cambria.

    Kelly2018-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at Ab-Fab! We took a bit of a risk on a rental with no reviews, and it came with great reward. The property is beautiful, clean, and really fun. It is a 3-story home with the kitchen/living room on the second floor - it is open with a lot of natural light, ample seating, and a very cool fireplace heater. The windows that line the living room are huge, with an awesome view of the surrounding nature. The house is literally 100 yards from the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve so you have plenty of hiking, nature and beach views moments away from the house. We cannot say enough good things about the fact that this house is dog-friendly. Main St. is a mile away and there you can shop, eat, and pick up a few groceries. We highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to have a fun get-together in Cambria. A few tips: 1) If you are staying for an extended amount of time, you may want to pick up groceries at Trader Joe’s in Templeton before you go west on the 46, or Albertsons in Morro Bay along the 1. 2) You will need to take your shoes off in the house. 3) The city does not permit vacation rentals to have cars parked on the street, but the driveway/garage can fit 3 cars.

This spacious Cottage with a beautiful view of the creek and pasture beyond from its own balcony. It has a comfortable living room with separate dressing room. The king bed and brass headboard will make you want to stay there all day! A fireplace adds a cheery touch; in-room bath with tub and shower. Bright and airy, kissed by the days first light. *One of the new outstanding highlights of this room, and a favorite among guests, is the luxurious REM bed.
The Creekside Suite can sleep up to 4 guests. There is an addition $40 per night fee for additional guest over the standard 2 guests. This is a very spacious suite with living room and private deck overlooking the Santa Rosa Creek.
The Inn is located in the sunny historic end of town and is the 2nd oldest home built in 1865. We are walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.
  • Looking for the best place to make special memories in the quintessential historical Coastal California town of Cambria? Olallieberry Inn is that place! Most romantic and luxurious lodging with hors d’oeuvres at the afternoon wine hour and sumptuous multi-course breakfast in the morning. What a pleasure it was to share pleasant conversation with fellow guests. The buildings and gardens are exquisite and delightful, even in mid-winter. The rooms are beautifully appointed with bed linens of highest quality. Maureen, Nelson and their staff provide outstanding guest services.

Charming and owned by a local Cambria Artist, Healer and Yoga Teacher who has lived in Cambria for 11 years. Your private guest suite is adorable, super clean, sunny, and located close to ranch trails and East Village. Enjoy a full kitchen, peaceful, spacious, and comfortable bedroom, private bathroom, private yard, wifi and fantastic energy...Welcome!
Your private guest suite is attached to the main home with it's own side entrance, full kitchen, private bath, bedroom, yard and parking in driveway. Your entry opens into the full kitchen with eating area. A small hallway leads to the bathroom and a spacious bedroom with a small sitting area. Lots of windows! Located in a sunny part of town in one of the original neighborhoods in Cambria. The cottage is thoroughly cleaned for each guest (including duvet covers and blankets). Heating controls in each room, with an extra space heater, extra blankets, and down comforter in closet. Some original works of art throughout. Great energy! and surrounded by pine and oak trees. Lots of wildlife in the area and it's not unusual to see deer and wild turkeys and hear the sound of seals barking or the distant sound of the ocean at night. There is a private outside yard and sitting area for guests. Can comfortably fit two people or two people and a baby. No pets allowed. Location is in beautiful Cambria on the central coast. Property is a short walk or drive to downtown, East Village, Cambria, where there are a multitude of shops, art galleries and restaurants and fine dining. There are plenty of hiking trails and coastline views also within a short walking or driving distance. Very easy access to scenic hwy. 1 and hwy. 46 to wineries in Paso Robles. Plus only seven miles to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seal look-out a little further up the coast.
I love the easy access of this neighborhood to town, many wonderful walks, Highway 1, the wine country, and San Simeon. Cambria is a Tiny Rural Tourist Town close to the Big Sur Highway and the Paso Robles Wine Country. One mile walk to East Village or find one of the forest trails close by and get to Fiscalini Ranch and the amazing ocean views.

The place was nice a cozy with a lot of privacy, the location is so close to everything, too! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again if we go back to Cambria.

  • The cottage was exactly what we needed, very clean and located just a few minutes drive to anything you may need in Cambria. We used this place as a launch pad for a few days while exploring the Central Coast. We especially loved how responsive Michelle was and how easy checkin was.

  • Lovely place to stay.

    Cynthia2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's place was homey and cozy. Since Michelle was also a painter, the private room with its own kitchen, bathroom and door was well decorated with paintings and artwork. Michelle also made us more comfortable by providing us with a complimentary bottle of Chardonnay. I would definitely recommend Michelle's place to others.

    Watson2016-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle was a perfect host. She gave us the space we were looking for, but was happy to offer a recommendation for a place to eat. The bottle of wine that greeted us was a caring touch. The place met the expectations we had for it. Would recommend to those looking in the area.

    Zach2016-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's cottage was immaculate. A very comfortable stay and lots of pillow choices. I felt like Goldilocks. Setting was very private and quiet with a small table and chairs beneath the apple tree outside. Owls were hooting in the tree behind the house and the night sky was spectacular (with no light pollution on Michelle's street). The ocean is definitely a drive away, but everything in town was very simple to get to. We did not find an outstanding restaurant in Cambria during our stay unfortunately, but appreciate that we had kitchen facilities at Michelle's cottage to cook or store items in the fridge. The bottle of wine was a very nice touch! All in all, a great cottage stay! Thanks Michelle!

The Bridge Street Inn is a cozy European-style guest house located in the historic East Village of Cambria. Make this charming Inn your home away from home:) The main house sleeps up to 12 people. It is perfect for large families, book clubs, writer/yoga retreats. The house comes with 6 bdrms: 1 queen rm with a private toilet, 1 queen rm, 2 full bedrm, 1 queen and single, and a 1 full and 1 single. Not suitable for children under the age of 6 or 8 without supervision.
"The Bridge Street Inn is where Frank Zappa meets Martha Stewart" -Ursel Waldorf, writer, director and Bridge Street Inn guest. This is your opportunity to turn the Bridge Street Inn into your personal, writing, yoga, bicycle, book club, hiking retreat, and family reuniuon. A weekly rental receives 20% off the booking price. Here is a review of the Inn and cottage from a guest who has stayed in both: "We stayed at Bridge Street Inn 10 years ago, in the main house... so fun to return to a special memory and now bring our kiddos! This is one of our favorite places. There’s a decided ‘funkiness’ to the inn and cottage, so if you’re the traveler who requires all things shiny & modern, need to have a space virtually hermetically sealed off from everything & everyone, or matching...this isn’t the place for you. Loved loved LOVED our stay." Information and common questions from House Guests: Our kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, knives, dishes and silverware for 12, and baking pans. There is a dishwasher. Wine glasses are also provided, though they aren't completely matching, in style with the rest of our assorted cookware. We try to avoid paper (in the kitchen) as much as possible... You will find lots of cloth towels. The Bridge Street Inn shares a gate and walking path with the Garden Cottage (Airbnb rental). The Garden Cottage has two bedrooms, bath, and small kitchenette. There are staff quarters on the hillside, church and the old washroom in the back of the BSI. The staff have their own facilities. We are around if you need help. There is a local health food market called Soto's True Earth Market on the corner about 2 minutes walk away, and supermarket about 1/2 mile away with anything you don't quickly find. A POEM: "to describe my experience at Brandon's Inn seemed to me too inefficient without including some of the other senses, that's the reason for doing it like the following: seeing the Inn is sweet, white wooden fences, white exterior lovely hand painted signs, Geraniums and Calendula fights for the best spot to show off, the lavender as well peppermint struggles for the best place with Blackberries and all over the property is capuchin cresses the interior is surprisingly spacious.
A 4 night reservation receives 15% off the booking price. Why stay 4 nights? Day 1: 8 miles North of the Inn is the Hearst Castle The Castle offers multiple daily tours. Across from the castle is the William Randolph Hearst Memorial Beach. Take a book, postcards, and journal to Moonstone Beach. Enjoy Cambria's many restaurants, coffee shops and yoga studios. The Inn is located in an ideal spot, half a block from Main Street, on a mixed residential and commercial street. There is a church next door - and besides some occasional singing noise on Sundays - they are wonderfully quiet neighbors. The Garden Cottage shares the same gate with the Bridge Street Inn. There are a couple small lunch only cafe's right on Bridge Street, and a just a few other residences.
  • We stayed for three nights over the Easter weekend, with a group of relatives from UK and US. Aimee’s place is every bit as charming as it looks online. A little funky, with lots of character. The fresh cut flowers and plants were a lovely touch. The separate room with its own entrance, bath and shower was perfect for Granny (me) to get away from the hubbub when necessary! There is also a sandy area out front with a fire pit, which we used to make s’mores and sing campfire songs. We appreciated the large, well-stocked kitchen. Each room had a plug-in space heater, which was nice for the chilly overnights. Aimee was very helpful and communicative. The central location was convenient, and we took trips to Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seal Rookery. We would definitely stay here again!

    Teresa2016-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • An awesome location in the east village, we loved this old house for our annual family reunion. The fire pit was great at night, and it was nice having the full kitchen and a bunk room for the kids. Perfectly comfortable, focused on sustainability so not luxurious, we brought our own towels and pillows as it was a driving vacation for us. A few visitors looking for accommodations walked in without knocking on the weekend, so is best to keep the front door locked. On-property staff also has access to the house even when the entire house is rented. Zach was helpful and accessible, overall a great place for everyone to be together.

  • We had no idea how close the house was to Main St. Super convenient to walk down town and have a great time!!!!

  • The Inn was better than described. It was great to have so many bedrooms in one house and still have the coziness

  • We had a great family get together in Cambria. The space is full of art and warmth.

  • We stayed at Aimee's Inn for a family get together. Aimee was great. She communicated everything we needed clearly and timely. She was a gracious host and the Inn gives you the down to earth, cozy feel reminiscent of the city of Cambria. The location of the Inn is fantastic, just a block off of Main St. It provided easy access to the eclectic shops and restaurants in the area. The beach and park trails are all very close by. Thank you Aimee for hosting us and sharing the Inn which is a piece of the city's history!

    Andrew2016-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Aimee was fantastic! She greeted us when we arrived and showed us all around. She even put out an extra futon for us because we were such a large group. We all loved the house, the space, the location. As a group we all plan to return again and again. I'm already looking at dates!

    Kathryn2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • The inn is very eclectic and has a lot of charm. (Reflective of the age of the building.) The location could not be beat! Brandon was very welcoming and easy to reach when the need arose.

The Bridge Street Inn (built in the 1880's) is a cozy European style Inn with a happy hostel vibe. ROOM 5 is downstairs. It has a double bed and sleeps a maximum of 2. There is a shared half bath and shower downstairs and a full bathroom upstairs. Please note, this room is closest to the social area, so it may be a little noisier than our upstairs private rooms. Also, double beds are smaller than queens and for taller guests, we suggest queen beds. Full house rental available on Airbnb.
Take a book, postcards, and journal to Moonstone Beach. Enjoy Cambria's many restaurants, coffee shops and yoga studios. The Bridge Street Inn is: 1.5 miles from a surf break and moonstone boardwalk 0.3 miles from the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve trail head 1.2 miles from the 927 Micro Brewery 1.4 miles from Tula Yoga 0.2 miles from Robin's Restaurant and other delicious dining options 0.1 miles from Soto's True Earth Market 2.7 miles from Hearst San Simeon State Park 1.7 miles from Stolo Family Vineyards & Winery 8.3 miles from Hearst Castle Visitor Center (Sea for Yourself Kayak and hiking across from the visitor center) 12 miles from the Elephant Seal Vista Point 20 miles from Ragged Point, Big Sur 22 miles from Montana de Oro State Park 19 miles from Morro Bay 14 miles from Cayucos

  • I didn´t met Brandon at my stay, but Ani. She was a wonderful host and takes care of you, it´s a beautiful place in Cambria, one of the best airbnb´s i´ve ever been. The bed was comfy, not too hard, not too soft. It´s a very short walk to all attractions of cambria and a short drive to the hearst-caslte. I loved to stay at the bridge inn, it´s a warm place.

  • My stay at Brandon's place was lovely. I was able to cook dinner in the public kitchen but also feel very private in my own room! It was also a great location from the beach and local restauratns. Thank you so much!

  • The Garden Room at Squibb House is darling, straight out of a storybook. We loved the space, the hosts, the community. It is close to the shops and restaurants, perfectly suited to a cozy getaway. The breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. Very friendly people! Enjoyed sitting by the little fire, drawing on the back porch, and making good use of the clawfoot tub.

  • We had an amazing 2 night stay in the Village Room/Squibb House. The bed was super comfortable and the room had great natural light. The afternoon chocolate chip cookies were yummy and the breakfasts each morning delicious and extensive. Karin and the entire staff made us feel welcome and made our stay a complete delight. We loved the location right in town which made walking to restaurants and shops easy as well as ample parking. I can't wait until we can visit Cambria and the Squibb House again!

    Christy2019-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Bruce’s place is right in the heart of Cambria and everything about it was welcoming and comfortable. We stayed in a front room in the Victorian house, appreciating the history of the home as well as the modern amenities. Each room, as well as the common area, is heated with a gas fireplace and the common area allowed us to interact with the other guests in a comfortable area while feasting on homemade cookies. A full breakfast was served and during breakfast, Bruce shared with all the guests the history of not only the Squibb House but also the surrounding area. We’re already planning s return trip.

  • The place is absolutely gorgeous. Marci is an amazing host! We came here for my Dad's 60th birthday with 21 people, and it slept all of us perfectly. Cambria is a super beautiful and quaint town as well, and beautiful hikes along the bluffs overlooking the Pacific. If you have a big group, want to spend quality time together, and a spot that is unforgettable - you need to book this place.

  • It was nice to stay in a classic hotel facility. My guests were super happy to stay. Thank you.

  • This former b&b is a great place for a rustic and resilient crowd! The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for a large group. The fireplaces are mostly not functioning aside from the one in the main room which works but doesn’t put out much heat. Our group of 9 enjoyed the house and slept well but we had space for more. The house was very clean and organized. Good value but somewhat dated property and could use a cosmetic face lift.

    Lynn2019-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place for big group gathering. Marci was nice but very direct in her manner of speaking. Very clean bedding etc and left showers with soap but bring own shampoo. Some of sitting area furniture was showing its age. Has a mixture of hotel/summer-camp feel to the place but was perfect for the four families and kids.

    Michael2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent stay for a large group. Spaces are very large and accommodating—two large living areas, huge kitchen, and very spacious bedrooms. Hosts kind and communicative. Would happily stay again!

  • Great all around. Amazing barn and furniture and people. Watching my own fireplace dance from my bed in the morning was a highlight. Very spacious room and BEAUTIFUL room. Bed is super soft and I sunk in for a good rest. Could hear a little noise in the morning in the room from the other guest enjoying themselves over breakfast, but I was already awake and it got me excited for the day!

    Amber2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • The Barn and rooms are stunning! You're almost guaranteed to see Bruce at some point. Make sure to ask him questions about the place. Breakfast in the morning is tasty.

  • Amazing place

    Fernando2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Truly surpassed my expectations. Was SO clean, hypoallergenic, new yet with a rustic old feel, and peaceful. Everyone went totally above and beyond in every way, from cooking a gluten free vegan breakfast for me to recommending hikes nearby. Bed and shower were so decadent. I seriously could not recommend this place more highly. Loved cute little town of Cambria with local non-chain store shops so much, too! Definitely coming back.

  • We stayed at The Black Barn for our anniversary and definitely want to go again! We had a late check in, but they set up everything for us to make sure we were able to get into our room. We had a question for Bruce after arriving, which he answered very quickly. The Black Barn is beautiful and all of the woodwork is amazing! The little fireplace heater in the room was a great touch. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and it was great sharing the table with other guests, all of whom were very nice. The location is just off of Main street and very quiet. We were very happy with our stay and we will be back!

    Jennifer2018-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in the Black Barn Cherry room was exceptional! My family had booked all the rooms in the house for a few days, and our time there was lovely. The rooms were comfy, clean, and spacious. Each of the four rooms has either a little porch or balcony, complete with a rocking chair, perfect for reading and moments of respite. The living room is spacious and made an excellent “venue” for a spontaneous family night of dancing and music. (We didn’t turn up too loud, don’t worry.) The breakfast each morning was delicious! Lots to choose from. And I looked forward to teatime and cookies each afternoon. It’s in close walking distance to shops and restaurants in Cambria and only a few minutes drive to Moonstone Beach and Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. There’s also a little “Hidden Cafe” in the back parking lot. It’s open seasonally, and they serve waffles, smoothies, and coffee. I will definitely return during my next trip up to the Central Coast. Thanks so much, Bruce!

Get away from it all by having your own (not shared) historic cottage in beautiful Cambria, CA. Enjoy the rare treat of a charming throwback cozy 1940's retreat in the oaks and pines - being close to all the favorite local Central Coast attractions.
Come and stay at the little yellow house in Cambria. Get away from it all and relax in a simple 1940's cottage in the woods. No TV, no wifi. The beach is only 1.5 miles down the hill. Enjoy some time of quiet rejuvenation away from the concerns of everyday life. You are close to Hearst Castle, Morro Bay, wine tasting, the beach, great food, the elephant seals, and hiking trails.
The little yellow house is in the quiet residential Lodge Hill neighborhood nestled in the rare Monterey Pines and oak forest. You may very well see deer, quail, raccoons, and other creatures around the cottage.
  • We stayed 2 nights at the Little Yellow House and wished it could have been longer. The house was very well equipped and stocked, in a good location, full of interesting books and objects. Good choice of places to eat and very handy for Hearst Castle. We liked the world maps showing where visitors came from and were proud to be the first visitors, we think, from Scotland! Unfortunately, we didn't meet Regina on our stay, but the house itself had a very welcoming and relaxed feel to it and we felt at home there. Recommended.

  • A nice vacation cottage on driving distance to the rocky seashore of Cambria. What a beautiful place to stay. Everything in the house is very organized: there are notes for guests with what to do when you arrive/leave. Very convenient. Thank you Regina for letting us stay here.

  • Good sized property in a quiet area, good to play games rather than watch continual adverts on a tv!

  • Regina's Little Yellow House in Cambria was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. Regina is a wonderful host ... Very responsive in communicating. Her little cottage is well equipped, and full of sweet memorabilia from days gone by. We will definitely return.

  • This is our second trip to the Little Yellow House, but it certainly will not be our last. It's sweet, comfortable, well located, cozy and welcoming. We highly recommend the LIttle Yellow House. Regina is a wonderful host

    Meredyth2013-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is really nicely located within a few miles of downtown Cambria and in a quiet woodsy setting. We enjoyed long walks in the neighborhood. The cottage itself is charming with a beach/nature/travel vibe. There are two outdoor seating areas under the trees that we enjoyed as well as the cozy living room. My two girlfriends and I found the space very comfortable for a weekend getaway. We found the beds comfortable with nice quilts. The kitchen was well supplied. The only challenge we had was with a musty smell in the second room, which we think was due to a recent leak or spill. If you are sensitive to this type of thing, check with the host about it. As I don't recall seeing this in other reviews, I suspect it was a recent isolated incident. Regina, the host, was very responsive to questions we had about activities and the heater, and accommodating with our check-in. We would rebook this site if the musty smell in the second smaller room was addressed as otherwise it is a very nice stay. It would be perfect for a cozy gathering or weekend retreat. This is a large yard so I suspect families with kids would enjoy it as well. Thank you Regina!

  • Très joli coin, pas loin de la plage et des commerces, des animaux tout autour de la maison, oiseaux, biches devant la terrasse, super pour le côté nature! attention pour les fanas d'internet, pas de wifi ou de 3g, super pour les electrosensibles!

  • A wonderful, quiet location and a beautifully presented house. The beds were really comfy and there were lots of games and books to keep our family occupied. I loved the fact there was no TV and no wifi. Plenty of places in town to hook up to the Internet if needs be. Cambria is a lovely little place with good places to eat and even a small theatre. Regina was a great host - good comms and a helpful folder was provided with tips and info on the local area. Would love to return some day.
