My tour of Berlin is very different than the usual Politically correct BS. Actually, think of this as the Politically incorrect tour of Berlin, so feel free to bring along your favorite rude jokes when joining us. It will be full of bad language and bad taste jokes-while paying respect where it is due. No snowflakes allowed! Our exploration will involve memorials, monuments and graves, along with churches and parks. We will discuss a mix of history, current events, local cuisine, the best spots for a cold German beer by the city center of Berlin. Be prepared to be socially active. You will learn how to make many types of homemade pasta in a real laboratory of pasta, reviewed among the "best 10 pastificio in Rome" . We will start with handmade pasta, made with different kind of flours: like ancient grain Triticum Monococcum, Grano Saraceno (buckwheat) and wholemeal flour. Experience a unique moment to feed reindeer with a local reindeer herder in authentic setting in the winter nature scenery in the peaceful location of Kairala village in Pelkosenniemi. Kairala is located 145 km from Rovaniemi (2 hours' drive). There is no public transportation in the area, so you need your own car. Welcome at OffTrack Experience! Say hello to our friendly Alaskan huskies, who are ready for action! IMPORTANT If your date / time are not available, please send a message. Accommodation possible at our log-house. Espen & Delphine will welcome you at their farm, and ensure that you always feel safe & comfortable. At your arrival, we will equip you with good winter clothes so that you stay warm during the trip. Then we will take you in our kennel to meet our dogs up-close and personal. You will be taught how to handle a team of huskies, and we will explain what Alaskan huskies are, their origin, their history and of course why we have them today. After a short briefing, we are ready to head out & explore the snowy forest by dogsled! We will be out on the trails, with beautiful views on majestic mountains, for +/- 2h. You need to be in reasonable shape, to help and walk / push the sled on the uphills, and break / hold the dogs on the downhills, since the terrain here is slightly challenging. During the trip we enjoy a typical Norwegian outdoor lunch (warm reindeer soup) at our campsite, and some snacks. We will also talk about our daily life with 40 dogs. At the end of this exciting excursion, we head back to the farm, for some warm drinks in our log cabin.

We will show you our squero (our gondole laboratory), where we restore and handcraft gondole. We will also introduce you to the world of Venetian boats, explaining their characteristics and peculiarities. After this brief introduction, we will teach you how to row with ancient techniques and show you how to use the oars and other tools in order to have a safe and accurate rowing experience :) This experience is suitable for everyone and at any age.

Then you will get familiar with all our birds, and the way our breeding station operates to save various endangered species. And finally, you will participate in feeding the birds of prey, including our bald eagle Helen, vulture Omar, a group of Harris hawks and a few others. They will fly just above your heads, and they will land on your arm protected by a special leather glove. This is a hands-on experience, quite literally! We will finish off by showcasing the training of the fastest bird of prey on the planet, our falcon named Gulliver. ❄️ This is a year-round, all-weather event. After an introduction to the world of truffles, we will begin our hunt. You will see how the trained dogs hunt for truffles and the passion they have, this being a very rewarding activity for them. Depending on the period we will go to different types of woods and the meeting point may change. Truffle hunting is also accessible to children (my dogs will be happy to play with them!). After the truffle hunting we will have a lunch with truffle dishes. The menu is vast so I don't suggest you have a big breakfast! We also have menus for vegetarians, celiacs, vegans and we can also change it according to your allergies or intolerances. During lunch we will have the opportunity to get to know each other better, drinking good wine and eating fresh seasonal truffles. Other things to remember. Long, comfortable trousers are required (ankles must be covered). I also suggest wearing a pair of boots. If you don't have them, sneakers are fine too.

We will visit a second winery, where we will meet friends that run a very high quality DOCG Prosecco winery and produce wines using ancient types of vines and lots of passion! Finally, in summer time only (Apr to Oct), there could be the possibility of enjoying a unique picnic experience in a stunning area in the middle of the vineyards.

Absolutely impossible to be in Venice and not have good photos with at least 3 landmarks: Saint Mark's Cathedral, the hidden streets and the famous gondola boat. I have therefore created an experience that will bring you the best memories with these three Venice icons. We will take a short group walk in the St. Mark Square area, from where we will also enjoy a great view of Canal Grande. We are meeting in Tromso, by the main Library. Then we are going for the HUNT. We are going to chase the northern lights, finding good weather and perfect spots to watch this beautiful lights. On the way we will make many stops to check the weather, to get to the restroom, note that later it might be no restrooms around us, so we will have to use wild nature. On the tour you will get hot drinks, snacks and a light meal. I'm gonna take pictures of you and northern lights, also I will have extra tripod for your camera if you will need it. NOTE: Meeting time might change, depending on coditions, so be ready.

We will pick you up from you accomodation around 20:00. and go far away from city light to perfect location with open view to north to maximize our chance to see northernlights. I will let you know everything about northernlights and hunting. We will make photos as well on professional camera. The grannies of our small village will show you how to prepare the perfect handmade pasta—no machines, just your hands, the freshest local ingredients, and love. All of these women started to make pasta in their childhood, keeping alive a tradition that is slowly disappearing. And they are ready to pass it to you! You’ll be part of our crazy big family for a day and join us as we walk the tiny medieval streets of Palombara Sabina to Grandma’s kitchen, located in the old winepress where our great-grandpas used to make wine that the community tapped straight from the barrel (or in Grandma's home... according to the weather). It's a special place for our family and the entire village. We will cook Ravioli, Fettuccine and Farfalle... you will be in a food coma at the end of the experience!
