The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.

The cottage provides a great base from which to enjoy the many cultural and outdoor activities available in the immediate locality.
