The night ends once you get into the third and final bar and get your drinks ordered. We do not to include drinks to give you a lower price and more choice. After a warm welcome, your guide and meditation teacher will offer a helpful overview on walking meditation to help you get the most out of the experience. Next, you'll enjoy a short gentle, centering mindful movement session. The guided movement, designed for every body and experience level, will calm your mind and prepare you for your walking meditation. Then we begin our slow, mindful walking meditation among beautiful sculptures, blooming flowers, and swaying trees. Along the way, you will follow your childlike wonder while your guide offers gentle mindfulness prompts to help keep you present. As you walk, you'll appreciate the beauty of the art and nature around you, tap into your inner peace, and feel gratitude for the privilege to experience it all. Imagine hearing a concert by a world-class award winning violinist as you walk down a gorgeous nature trail. I'll take you on the only nature and acoustic music immersion experience I know of anywhere. We'll start at a beautiful oak tree covered corner park and then make our way to a private greenbelt. The experience will include a private guided walk with live violin played by your host along the way. You'll learn a few fun and interesting facts about history of the area, nature, and scenery and I'll lead you in a short guided meditation at the midpoint of the experience. If you book an evening time, note the the timing is usually set so the event ends around sunset. Texas sunsets are amazing, and if its summer, its cooler at that time. Join us for a fun and active experience in the heart of Austin combining all the best things - nature, yoga and an opportunity to connect with amazing people! Enjoy a 1-hour yoga class that is accessible to all levels of practitioners, including beginners...but really...this is an all-levels experience! We will move on our mats, soaking up the sun under the large oak trees in our private backyard space. Immediately following our yoga session, you have the option to enjoy two complimentary mimosas - delicious NA options available as well - while getting to know our fellow yogis (must be 21+ with a valid ID to consume alcohol). We will listen to music, talk, laugh, and enjoy the company of those who appreciate unique, fun, and different experiences! We'll meet in front of the Ellis cocktail bar at 111 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704. First up, you'll dig into some Central Texas pit-style BBQ brisket served with the best pinto beans ever. Next, you'll enjoy a breakfast taco, a local favourite with a cult-like following. On our stroll, we'll say "howdy" to Willie Nelson, an Austin icon, and pass by where Austin City Limits is held. Afterwards, we will stop at one of our favorite food trucks for a secret bite– a fusion dish that will blow your mind. Then it's time for a cool down with a smoothie made with local Texas wildflower honey. After several great bites, we'll take a stroll down Congress Ave to see and talk about some of our protected historic buildings. As if you weren’t already full, we are right back where we started to sample a local staple food truck turned brick and mortar. And finally, we'll round things out with a flan-inspired creation made just for our tour. We end the tour pretty much where we start it.

Then, we'll go to my favorite area with 3 local thrift stores within walking distance (starting at Pavement) in central Austin and shop the day away! If you find thrift shopping overwhelming, don't worry- - I'll be your personal guide the entire time. Last, I'll equip you with outfit suggestions with your new pieces and tidbits to make your next thrifting adventure just as enjoyable.

You'll visit the famous Treaty Oak and get the chance to learn about it's long and sometimes strange history as a location for war and peace parties with various Native American Tribes. You'll get a chance to see one of the few remaining active moon-towers; was Jack the Ripper really in Austin first? We will take a ride through the University of Texas Campus to see the iconic tower that Charles Whitman made famous in 1966 and learn about school's founding in 1883. You will also take a pedal down to the State Capital grounds to talk about the founding of Texas and the struggle that took place in naming Austin as the capital.
