It is located nine miles from Cripple Creek, to the south, and nine miles from Divide, to the north, and thirty-fives miles west of downtown Colorado Springs. Approximately forty-five miles from the Colorado Springs Airport and 122 miles from the Denver International Airport. It offers all of the amenities of home except a washer and dryer but the scenery and views well make up for it.

While staying at Red Door Cabins you will enjoy breathtaking views, amazing rock formations, beautiful pine and aspen trees, a firepit, silence and stars. Have fun finding pieces of petrified wood, geodes, wild berries, and mushrooms on the property and surrounding area. You will get visited by deer, squirrels, maybe a family of foxes and occasionally local black bear or two. So, don’t forget your camera! This is the last to be restored and now working to restore the 40 acres of forest and pond. This quiet location offers peace and serenity and a view of Pikes Peak. Deer, elk, fox, bear, coyote and even some moose have been seen on this property. Nearby Pike National Forest offers adventure for outdoor enthusiasts.
