For those who want to do less, you can sit in the sunroom or on the deck and watch the horses graze.

Not in town, but 5 miles to gas/snacks, 8.5 miles to WCU, and 14 miles to Sylva for groceries and unique dining and shopping. Short drives to Great Smokies National Park, Nantahala National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, NC Mountains to Sea Trail.

This cabin is close to Western Carolina University ( about 4 miles), Cullowhee, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. You’ll love this home because of the views, the coziness, woodburning fireplace, firepit, convenience and unique decorations ( I call it the museum in honor of my grandparents). In addition to two bedrooms, there are bunk beds in the loft for the kids. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

The living room has 2 comfortable couches and the kitchen includes all modern amenities except a dishwasher. All linens and towels are provided, and there is a washer and dryer.
