Relatos de Galway llenos de emoción
The legendary tour centers around the tale of the Lynch family. Its a fascinating tale of how Walter Lynch is accused and tried for the murder of a visiting Spaniard who was a little too interested in his beautiful wife to be...or was he ? The story ends in a dramatic climax...but you will have to take the tour for that finale !
We also look at the legend of the Claddagh ring with a tale connected to Caribbean pirates, North African slave owners and a gold ring that speaks of eternal love.
Christopher Columbus makes his appearance too, looking for a new way to China, but worrying that Atlantis might stand in his way.
These and other tales are woven together in a 80-90 minute walk through the city. Its taken at a gentle pace to bring in all the major places of interest and embed them into the story of our city.
Other things to note
Dont worry about it raining - we have plenty of places to hide out of the rain !
Ruta por los acantilados de Moher desde Doolin
The Cliffs Of Moher is often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. This guided tour will take you on an 8km (5 mile) adventure from the small fishing village of Doolin, along a breathtaking route to the top of the Cliffs Of Moher. The experience is brought to life with fascinating stories passed down from generations.
Oh, and you will see the BEST views of the Cliffs of Moher! Views that are not seen by 97% of the people who visit the Cliffs of Moher each year. Bring your camera!
WHERE DOES THE EXPERIENCE START?
The experience begins at the Fiddle + Bow Hotel in Doolin where you will meet the guide. The guide will explain the itinerary and answer any questions. The tour is less about facts and figures and more about stories. The guide always encourages stories from visitors too!
WHERE DOES THE EXPERIENCE END?
The tour will end at the visitor center at the top of the Cliffs where guests are free to go inside to relax.
By the end of this experience, guests will have explored the Cliffs of Moher in a way most don't get to see it. They will be left with a strong sense of connection with Clare and the Cliffs of Moher.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation back to Doolin will be organized by your guide! Most people opt for the taxi but you can walk or get the public bus too!
IS THE HIKE DIFFICULT?
We suggest a moderate level of fitness! However, there are hills.
Los loberos irlandeses
We have two pure bred Irish Wolfhounds.
They are an ancient breed of Irish dog, and the largest dog in the world!
You can meet up with Aidan at Bertra Beach, outside Westport where Aidan will introduce you to Spéir & Mairtín.
You can greet and cuddle the dogs. Learn how they like to be petted and scratched and watch them run and play.
Aidan will tell stories of the Legends of Cuchulain & his wolfhounds, from Irish mythology. And explain why lords & kings liked to have wolfhounds around them.
Aidan can answer any questions about their care, eating habits, personalities, or any aspect of the dogs.
At the end of the experience you can take photos of the dogs or Aidan will take photos while you hold the dogs by yourselves. By that time you can have made two wolfhound friends :)
Una isla de Aran desde Doolin: ruta en bici, té y pastas (un día)
Join me and my team of guides on one of the most beautiful and stress-free day trips to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands!
Meeting at Doolin Pier, we board a modern ferry for our 20-minute journey to Inisheer. En route, we often see the dolphins that love to swim beside the ferry.
The island is like a time machine. As soon as you step foot on Inisheer, you will hear Irish (or Gaelic) being spoken everywhere. You will experience Irish traditions that have been lost on the mainland.
We will bike our way around the breathtaking Island visiting sunken churches, rusted shipwrecks, and castles.
After our bike tour, we will visit a local islander’s cafe, for some tea/coffee and fresh scones (an Irish sweet bread served with jam and cream). Una & John, the owners are fantastic storytellers who will share stories along with some island secrets!
Afterward, you will have some free time. Some like to use their free time on the sandy beach, in the pub, or at the playground (if you have kids, they will love this playground - lots to do). If you like, you could simply bike around the island some more!

Descubre cómo es tener una alpaca de mascota
You'll jump right into the field, meeting our lovely alpacas and horses.
You will know everything about them, about their life and habits.
I attended several Alpacas Classes where I get my advanced certificates with the British Alpacas Association and the Alpaca Association of Ireland.
You'll have the chance to meet 2 Alpacas Breeds! Huacaya and Suri. It's not easy to see Suri as they are very rare in Ireland!! You can meet them only at our farm nearby Loop Head and Kilkee!
You'll feed them directly, and grab one of them, if you feel ready to.
You'll have the opportunity to cuddle them, check them and train them too!
This experience is completely tailored on you!
You'll have the opportunity to meet and greet the chickens, and maybe you'll be lucky enough to pet them too!
We'll be back at home, and I'll show you a spinning wheel, that I use with the alpaca wool.
You can even have a try :) !!
Other things to note
We'll see and work with animals. Animals can be unpredictable sometimes, they can run, jump, or even spit. They can kick too.
Normally it doesn't happen, but you must know that it's possible.
We'll work mostly outside
Por la mágica Irlanda a pedales
You will cycle on quiet back roads into the wild Burren on electric bikes, visit historical locations such as 10th century ring forts and a dolmen from 3500 BC, and experience the amazing flora and landscape of this protected region. You will cycle on small back roads with little or no traffic, seeing the parts of the Burren most visitors never see. We will stop for lunch or coffee and cake, or simply chat to the local people, and of course, get plenty of fresh air. You will bike as much or as little as you wish, and if the weather is really bad, there is always a Plan B!
Other things to note
We don't provide lunch or food/drinks, but can stop at a suitable location for refreshments which you will need to pay for at the location, or you can bring a picnic which can be bought in advance.

Todo sobre el anillo de Claddagh (ahora con anillo incluido)
The Claddagh ring experience takes in some of the main sights of Galway weaving them into the story and legends of the ring. After passing through the stunning Latin quarter and Spanish arch areas of Galway we see some of the works of Richard Joyce, the hero of the Claddagh ring legend and maker (probably) of the first Claddagh ring sold commercially.
After few tales of the folklore of the Claddagh we head up into the village itself. In Katie's cottage, a re-built Claddagh cottage we can enjoy a coffee or tea and a cake (included) in authentic surroundings.
Heading back into the city centre we visit some of the Claddagh ring shops and look at links to some of the celebrities who have bought one.
We finish up at a fantastic Claddagh ring shop called 'nuada'. Here you will receive your free Claddag ring, with our compliments!
Conditions of offer: The ring is a female ring from the selection offered by the Foxford Jewellery company. If your chosen ring is outside of the standard range or size or is a male claddagh ring you will receive a 15 euro discount off the retail price. Male guests may choose to select a female ring as a gift (or to wear themselves!) alternatively they can receive a 15 euro discount off a male ring.
If you have any question, or special request...then do please get in contact with me on Air b'n'b.
