We are Denver local hiking enthusiasts who love to take guests of all levels of experience to low traffic trails with breathtaking views all year round! We are the original Denver guided hiking tour. We start our adventure at one of Denver's best coffee shops, in the Highlands neighborhood, minutes from downtown. We will customize the hike based on the preferences of the group and the current trail conditions. We'll connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take amazing photos (check out our insta @hikingintherockies) and send them to you at the end of the hike for memories that will last a lifetime. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail. The guided hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but we encourage guests to provide their own transportation. If that is not possible, we are happy to drive you in our car and we will return to the meeting spot at the end of the tour.

Get hands-on in the glass studio with a local glass artist. We will spend about an hour and a half together, during which time you will get a feel for glass as a material and make your own piece of art. You'll get to work with tools, air, and fire to shape and mold the material into an object of your creation. Glasswork is hot and fast, so be prepared to get your heart rate up and get in a good, healthy sweat. Please note that glass art needs to temper overnight, so you'll either need to come pick up your piece the day after your session, or I can ship it to you. Other things to note The glass studio is an active workspace. I share my studio space with someone who works on CNC machines. He is very friendly and loves meeting new people!

Pareidolia art class and art tour Hello! Come experience my Pareidolia art class and tour my unique, local Denver home studio, which showcases 80 of original works. Located in eclectic Five Points, which is walkable to the Rino Art District and some of the best restaurants and breweries in Denver! Pareidolia: A psychological phenomenon that causes people to see patterns (faces) in random or ambiguous visuals. This often leads to people assigning human or animal characteristics to objects and shapes. I have created an art technique that explores this phenomenon. In this class, you will choose from serval pareidolia prints in which you see a face or animal, then pick from an array of markers and colored pencils to color, draw and bring to life the creatures you see. We break away from the classroom setting and sit on my cozy couch with a lap desk. I will provide tips and directions whilst playing psychedelic music, in hopes of sending you into flow state. Flow state is a magical place where ideas come flowing in, time doesn't exist and realizations occur. Before class, I can explain some of my own pareidolia art pieces. My ‘Translating For Trees’ series is my most recent collection where I paint on wood using my pareidolia technique. People love seeing these in person and hearing the stories the trees have to tell. About 20 minutes east of Dillon, CO is the beautiful Loveland Pass and the Continental Divide, where I'll take you up past 11,000 ft. elevation to get some of the most breath-taking views that one can simply drive to. Wild flowers grow abundantly in the summer, changing leaves are visible in the fall, and the views on a clear winter day are unbeatable. Please join me as we tour the grounds and photograph your experience any time of year! Designed for adventurous couples or groups, or a single person looking to document their time in this spectacular landscape! Be prepared to be active & in front of the camera as we capture precious moments touring around the mountain pass! Please feel free to request a different time for the shoot than what is available. The hike is about 3 miles depending on the ability of the hikers and length of the trail. After the hike we will return to the cafe. Discover the wonders of the night sky just outside of Boulder with our all-ages tour! Accessible by car, Taxi, Lyft & Uber, the tour starts at sunset and lasts for 2 hours. A professional astronomer will guide you through the cosmos with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will explore the wonders of our universe including planets, constellations, star navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, and even shooting stars (if lucky). You'll be able to take in the breathtaking beauty of these celestial objects through our telescopes with your own eyes. The tour takes place at an easy-to-find trailhead, and there's no hiking required. You'll have the chance to see phenomenal sunsets and wildlife in the area. We provide our guests with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, and bottled water (upon request). Experience the excitement of making your own piece of jewelry! This is a three hour hands-on workshop, in which you will learn the silversmithing fabrication techniques to make a sterling silver band ring. All materials and tools will be provided for the workshop. Just come, have fun and learn! During the workshop you will be lead step-by-step through the processes. It is a very safe environment, however each participate will be asked to sign a liability waiver and safety will be discussed. The process begins by measuring and cutting a piece a sterling silver the desired width of your ring. Next the metal is annealed with a torch. Annealing is the process of heating metal with a flame to make it malleable. After each time the metal is heated, it is cleaned in a solution to remove the oxidation that is created on the surface. Once the metal is prepared, you will have choices of hammers and metal stamps to texture a pattern onto the sterling silver, creating your personal design. Then the metal is cut to the length required for your ring size, formed into shape and soldered together. The final steps are refining, buffing and polishing your creation to have a beautiful shine! Rest assured that your safety is our priority. Regarding COVID-19, we have a cleaning protocol in place. Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer are available for your use.

Sunrise hiking in RMNP! You can not beat The morning golden hour in this state. The sun sets behind the mountain range one hour before sunset eliminating those beautiful colors during that time, so I really like to encourage people to go on a sunrise hike with me! We will meet at a location outside of the RMNP- and then you will follow me into the park. Dream Lake is a bucket list hike, so be sure to have your cameras! This adventure lasts 3/4 hours from start to finish. 3-5 Professional photos will be taken of your group and delivered 7-14 days after your tour! Other things to note: If I’m outta shape, are your hikes still for me? MOST CERTAINLY! We have an adventure for everyone during every season!!! We will explore the trails and take in the beauty of the massive red rocks as I photographically document your time spent there. As we explore, I will capture multiple beautiful backdrops offered at the Garden of the Gods and possibly even experience some wildlife (fingers crossed). Nervous to stand in front of the camera? No worries! I will give you prompts to help you relax and enjoy your time! - believe me, it's going to be so much fun! :) A few things to consider: - The trails are easy to navigate for beginners and children. There are some areas with stairs, but these can easily be avoided if needed. - If you plan to wear heels or shoes that are hard to walk in, please bring walking shoes and you can change into your fancy shoes once we reach the shoot location. - Perfect for families, friends, couples, or solos (every shoot is a private session). You will be immersed into a peaceful ambiance with soft music. We will discuss and address your personal concerns and intention as I share some history about this rare healing art. On a comfortable table, you will lay clothed on your back. I will listen to your body's energetic pulses using my hands though a combination light touch holds until pulses harmonize and then proceed to the next area along the pathway. During your JSJ experience, you may find yourself in a state of the deepest levels of relaxation as you access various brain wave frequencies. Welcome to the Colorado chapter of an Experience I hatched in California. It was so fun (well I thought so) that I outfitted a shop here to keep it going. The overall process takes about an hour per guest. We get to explore the fascinating and enjoyable process of folding a coin into a ring. The spoon ring process is similar and a bit simpler. I have lots of coins and spoons to choose from, which are included in your Experience. If you have a coin or spoon of your own, it is quite possible we can turn it into a one-of-a-kind treasure. Please make sure your coin is non-magnetic and at least the size of a quarter. Smaller spoons, like a demitasse, are much easier to craft into a ring. A commentary on children: While I'm sure your little darlings are brilliant, perfectly behaved and have an infinite attention span, they probably don't have the body mass or strength to effectively work the tooling.
