Fairlight Maison

Beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you'd need for a home away from home stay. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds. Separate living room with a cosy fireplace and dinning room for 6 people. A charming study with a small daybed, a desk and printer. Well equipped kitchen good enough for any chefs. Sunny balcony off the master bedroom to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. A plunge pool with sunbed in the rear courtyard garden for soaking up the sun or alfresco entertaining & relaxation. We provide luxurious bedding linen, Egyptian Cotton bath towels, high end bathroom amenities including a hairdryer. Unfortunately we do not provide beach towels and we don't have a BBQ. There is a Nespresso Coffee machine in the kitchen and we provide a few coffee pods to get you started but you will have to purchase the additional pods at our local supermarket, Coles. Instant coffee and a small selection of tea are there for you to use of course. Guests will have access to the entire house by themselves. Guests will have full privacy. The house is conveniently located within a 10-20 minute walk of the famous Manly Beach precinct, home to a multitude of trendy cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. In addition, there's easy access to outdoor activities, such as bushwalking and surfing. If you don't want to do the 10-20mins walk to Manly, there is a local free bus shuttle (Hop Skip & Jump Bus) that takes you to directly to Manly Beach and Manly ferry. The bus stops right across the street in front of the house and comes around every 30mins. To go into the city there is also a public bus stop just around the corner but we suggest you take the scenic ferry ride across the Harbour into Sydney and you'll be in the heart of Sydney's tourist attractions. If you have a car you can park on the street in front of the house. There is always plenty of parking available. Fairlight La Maison is a terrace house on 3 levels so there are steep narrow stairs which might not be suitable for young children not used to stairs and elderly people. We have a gas fireplace. There is a Nespresso machine but only a sample of pods will be provided to get you started. If you would like use the Nespresso Coffee machine then you will need to buy extra coffee pods at the local supermarket. We don't have a BBQ. You will also need to bring your own beach towels as we do not provide beach towels at the house. We don't own a cat but our neighbours do. Nero is the black cat and Oscar is the grey marble cat. They are super friendly cats and often wander into the house if the doors and windows are left open. If you are allergic to cats we suggest you don't allow them in the house.

As hosts with a young family, we occupy part of the property and share a common wall with the guesthouse. However, the AirBnB is private, has a separate entrance and shares no common areas. This self-contained guesthouse is part of a gracious federation family home on a corner block with its own private entrance. It has one bedroom with a built in wardrobe and desk. The Living area is a combined living/dining and kitchenette leading to a large outside verandah/deck. The space is flexible and perfect for business travellers, young families and couples looking to enjoy the best parts of Sydney. We have an air mattress and crib, which we’ll include or remove based on your sleeping requirements. You’ll feel just like you’re at home away from home! Guests have a separate private access with no shared areas and direct access to Green Park from the outside veranda accessible via a side entrance. This property supports keyless access powered by August Home. Should you wish, there is no need to interact with the residents of the house, the apartment is your space and is totally private. Across the road from the house is Greens Park, which boasts a playground, public tennis courts, and basketball hoops. Cammeray golf course is practically on the doorstep as well, and there's a huge array of cafes, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. Cammeray is an excellent location with immediate access in all directions by car. There is plenty of all day parking on the street just outside our place. Public transport is a breeze into the City, North Sydney and Mosman. It's even an easy walk to & from North Sydney, Neutral Bay & Crows Nest for work or play. The kitchenette comes equipped with a bar fridge, microwave / oven, 2x induction hot plates, toaster, jug and necessities.
