LET'S GET OUT OF THE TOURIST AREA where it is overpriced and crowded with people! This tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya, Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is also famous with Japanese foodies for a good quality at reasonable prices. I'm going to take you to popular bars and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 4 restaurants/taverns in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks (5 or more different type of drinks) and you'll be able to experience what Japanese taverns are like. After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. At the end of the tour, I will explain which train station you need to go, depending on where you go. You are going to have a full-size meal on the day in several different restaurants included ramen, so again pls come hungry!

You will make a green tea (Matcha) in an ancient style Japanese tea ceremony room wearing Kimono. First, you will chose your kimono. I will help to make sure that you are dressed correctly also your hair match the traditional styles. You will a selection of kimono in sizes appropriate for women, men, boys, and girls . Second, I will give you an introduction to the Japanese tea ceremony and associated rituals. Traditional Japanese tea ceremony will be held and you will make a green tea (Matcha), drink it, then eat Japanese sweets (Wagashi) which is suitable for the green tea. Lastly, you are allowed to take pictures in the tea ceremony room after the ceremony and in front of our unique backdrops! Other things to note You have an option to do the tea ceremony by sitting on a chair. Please let me know in advance!

Welcome to Tokyo, Japan! Join this 2-hours experience and learn KYUDO, Japanese archery martial art. Don a traditional beautiful KYUDO uniform, channel your inner samurai. and challenge for the target! Usually when the beginner takes up KYUDO in earnest, it takes several months of practice before they are allowed to actually shoot at a target. However, this class lets you go straight into action. But please understand that you are required to practice basic training for 1 hour and basic manners, before you shoot at a target. I will guide you through every step to help you hit the target. Anyway, please keep in mind that not everyone can hit the target, even people who training over 10 years. But there’s more to kyudo than hitting the target; performing these fundamental movements correctly and keeping our mind quiet are also considered important. That's why KYUDO is regarded as "active ZEN meditation" in Japan. 1. Meeting together, and moving to a training hall 2. Changing cloth 3. Introduction 4. Exercise 5. Trying to hit the target 6. Changing cloth, and cleaning the hall together * Each time, location of the training hall is different, then after reservation, don't forget to check the location by our message Location is NOT Tokyo station.

We'll start at the new Toyosu—the world's largest fish market. We'll then go to the outer area known as the Tsukiji old market and Tsukiji Uogashi, a new building with fish-selling areas, including a background area, We'll drop in for fish while experiencing the authentic and dynamic atmosphere of a wholesale market. After taking some shopping time at the outer area, we'll purchase a variety of fish and head to Asakusa. We'll visit the popular Buddhist Sensō-ji temple before we go to my shop to prepare Kaisekistyle lunch--Traditional Japanese Cuisine--, Kaisen Donburi—sashimi rice bowls—with fresh seafood and more. After our meal, we'll have some surprise treats. Please note that the markets are lively and changing each day. Please arrive on time and be aware that the experience can run over time. Other things to note Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The new market is so huge it will seem like we are viewing a factory. We'll go to the Tsukiji old market after that and enjoy comparing the two marketplaces.

There are various kinds of sushi, but we will make 5 kinds thi time (Nigiri sushi, Tamagyaki-sushi, winding winding, manual winding, fine winding). Generally there are two kinds of hand grips (kotegaeshi/tategaeshi). I will make sushi by this method. Becuase my shop is a shop that last 100 years, I have inherited the technology you will experienced it. Let's grab it in a sushi craftmanship. And let's make goals that sushi can be made even if yo return home! Let me eat lunch together because I also hold a sushi for you. And if there is something you want to know abot sushi, I will gladly answer. Other things to note There's nothing special to prepare. Please come with casual clothes.

Welcome to No.1 samurai experience in Tokyo! First you'll change the clothes into "kimono" and "hakama" is samurai style. Introducing with tea ceremony Matcha green tea and Wagashi sweets Next we'll watch a real Japanese katana—a traditional sword used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Then you'll learn how to handle it with unsharpened katana. We'll also do a traditional Zen meditation. It's called "Rituzen". After doing meditation, you will be calm mind and you can cut one bundle of straw with real sword. Through using with real katana yourself, you can feel one part of swordsmanship as samurai. Lastly, you'll watch a performance using real katana by host. This experience has no flashy production, but you can feel the "real". You can enjoy not only training but also total samurai culture with this time. More than over 50country, over 3000 people joined. From families, couples to martial artists, various people touched and enjoyed the “real” samurai world! If you bring a camera, you can taking some pictures of samurai pauses which learning in this experience! This experience is also great for team building up to about 15 people. Cheers! We will start Omakase style with drinking Seasonal drinks. Then we will briefly introduce a few facts about sake and Japanese-food. The drinks we will prepare are unique and cannot be found in many other places. Our seasonal drinks include unique sake and beer as well. The wagyu which we using is the soft quality and the good balance of marbling making its rich flavor. The fat is sweet and the combination with the sizzling scent makes "WAGYU" known as the taste of art. The balance of fat and lean is said to be the best among the WAGYU. Furthermore, as you know Wagyu is not the thing for just red meat to eat so we will prepare and provide various part of WAGYU. In the end, we will enjoy the world-class taste of Japanese Food and the mixture of sake. Let us enjoy the feast with all our 5 sense ・We are not a wagyu steak experience. We are omakase style. ・We serve rare or medium rare. ・We do not serve well done. ・We serve Wagyu beef with Japanese cooking methods and seasonings.

We'll visit a liquor store in downtown Tokyo and will take part in the tradition of "Kaku-uchi" - sampling different types of sake at a liquor store while casually chatting and enjoying the lively local atmosphere. Let’s become sushi master by spending a half day with sushi chef! This tour consists of two part. First, we will see around Tsukiji fish market where I will explain how each fish differ. Also I will explain a bit about how to make soup with kelp and dried bonito. Second part is, you will experience sushi making, you can make your own sushi!
