Well I should start off to say that this is a very special location for me. 1. It is the building that made me want to become an architect, 2. It is the place my parents got engaged, 3. It is my favorite spot in the city and probably even the world. We will be heading to the Union Buildings after stopping for the best Ice Cream in South Africa. We will head to the Union Buildings and after some brief talk about the history of the city and building we will settle in to watch the sunset over the city. The building is placed on the east-west axis so it gives the perfect lookout over the city and the perfect seat for the sunset. Make sure to pack your camera.

Our Pan-African Cooking experience is an experience that will take you through a different number of African cuisines with a well know chef who is pure at heart and cooks not just to feed but to heal . We will be focusing on one country's famous meal and how the meal was derived...Africa has 54 countries and all countries eat differently and we will be preparing something combining a few countries. This experience was suggested by one of our guests who have come on our famous Taste of Africa food experience, they want to be able to make their own meals and understand the ingredients in the meals. The experience is inclusive of a conversation over nutrition and healthy eating, what most people call veganism, Our head chef is the instructor to the experience and will introduce a guest chef from a different country to make every experience different.

We'll meet at the Nature Reserve in Modderfontein. We'll travel down a long narrow road where we will stop to take a few pictures. We'll then follow the road which leads us to a rustic stone bridge that has a little river flowing under which is surrounded by lots of exotic flowers. We'll hop out and take a few more pictures here while we enjoy the tranquil sound of the river. We'll then drive into the reserve and down a stoney road which opens up into this beautiful tranquil lake that overlooks the reserve. This will be our last stop where we will completely embrace what Mother Nature has given us. Other things to note It is very normal to feel nervous for a photoshoot. The important thing to remember is to be yourself. Make sure you wear something comfortable and something you feel comfortable wearing. R40 per person to enter the reserve

We are wanting to educate and share our knowledge of the African Arts to Tourists, to get them excited and understand the history of the craftsmanship and artefacts that come from the tribes throughout Africa. We would offer a full 1hr tour and carefully curated talk through our gallery and museum, talking about the tribal cultures and artefacts we have on display, along with artwork from famous photographers and up-coming African artists. Everything is then available for purchase so it would be a full shopping experience.

The safari includes a mid morning snack and soft drink, lunch, and an afternoon snack and soft drink. If you do not have your own camera, a digital camera with a 300mm zoom lens can be provided for your personal use during the safari. You will have access to all the pictures taken whilst on safari. Join me at the Voortrekker Monument for a journey that is filled with exciting stories, history, and a few secrets. I will show and tell you about these gems that can be found in this granite icon of Pretoria. Our tour will start at the Pioneer Center at the monument reception and will end in one of the newest museums in Pretoria, which is located within the Voortrekker Monument In the Hall of Heroes, you will be shown the world's longest marble frieze, depicting the everyday life of the Voortrekkers as well as significant events of the Great Trek. From the viewing area, you will also have a bird's eye view of Jacaranda City and a bit of the province of gold, namely Gauteng. In the Cenotaph Hall with its tapestries, I will let you in on a bit of a secret surrounding the monument. You will also meet the only lady that was present at the Battle of Blood River, she has a very loud voice and a scarred lip. This tour can also be presented in Afrikaans. The experience fee covers the cost of your admission to the Voortrekker Monument.

This Kaftan making workshop takes place in my office studio. Here we’ll get to know each other over local drinks, snacks and tunes. We’ll also get acquainted with a proudly African fabric called Ankara or we use the chiffon fabric to create beaded embroidery which I'll show you how to manipulate into a one piece free style outfit.
