Linda and Doug were exceptional hosts. Very warm and welcoming, gave great suggestions for to-do’s/food in the area. The cabin was the perfect size for two people and the bed was comfy! We hiked through the woods and had a fire - perfect overnight getaway. The place felt isolated which is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely revisit! Thank you both so much for such a warm welcome.

This is our second stay here - we really enjoy the clean, modern, open spaces and peaceful surroundings. Plenty of room for our family of five to spread out, but also to come together in the kitchen or living room for games around a fire. Looking forward to another stay in the future!

This home is easily one of the nicest we've booked on Airbnb. Clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and in the words of my husband, "there was nothing weird about it, like sharing laundry with an upstairs tenant or a garage that never closes". Would 100% stay here again and in fact may do so later this year. Union Pier is a good branching out location for everything the area has to offer, but the neighborhood where the home is located also offers a peaceful respite for those who just want to shut out the world and chill. John was super-communicative and offered several helpful tips and suggestions. Last but not least: our party agreed this home has the most comfortable beds!

We had a fantastic stay at Jane and Matt's home from January 19th to 27th. We came for the snow and we definitely got it! Niles transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland, and downtown was absolutely beautiful. While we didn’t get a chance to use all the outdoor amenities, like the firepit and bikes, the home’s indoor comforts more than made up for it. One of our favorite moments was enjoying meals in the formal dining room, watching the snow fall it was so peaceful. If you're visiting in winter, you'll appreciate that the hosts have a snow shovel available, and they’ve also arranged for a snow removal service to clear the driveway and sidewalks. Also, a helpful tip— the upstairs bedrooms stay much warmer! We would 100% stay here again. The location is perfect just steps from the river and within walking distance of everything in town. For future travelers, just a quick reminder to log out of your apps on the TVs we noticed some were still signed in.

Evan and Claire were incredibly responsive and flexible hosts. Their home was as described, plenty of space for our group!

Awesome place for a weekend away!

Cynthia and Thomas were very polite, always available for questions and absolutely great hosts. They were willing to accommodate my requests, and answered questions quickly. The place was just what we were looking for with close access to many shops, restaurants and touristic destinations. The house was immaculate, and their instructions were very clear. I would book this place again in the summer, so I could take total advantage of the beach near by and their outdoor shower. The king bed is extremely comfortable and the house is oriented for family stays, featuring an open floor plan and a fully equipped kitchen. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting this Michigan area for the first time as an introduction to the lake lifestyle in Michigan. Stayed here with 7 other ladies for a bachelorette party! We absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful home, fantastic location!

Three friends and I stayed here for a writing retreat. We chose this space because it has ample bedrooms and beds (5 - no bunking situations), and 3 full bathrooms. We also appreciated the seating area conducive for our writing. The hot tub was an amazing addition, even in the cold of the winter. This house also came fully loaded with all the amenities in the kitchen needed to keep us indoors and productive. Electric kettles, ample plating, silverware, basic seasonings, extra towel, washcloths - those extra touches mattered! So thankful to our amazing hosts! I can only imagine how great this spot is in the summer. I hope it’s as affordable in the summer as it was for us this winter!
