Do you know the taste of a fresh butter baked Danish pastry? A professional pastry chef with many years of experience will guide you through the different baking techniques and tips including kneading, rolling and folding the dough with butter. We will make a selection of traditional and delicious Danish pastries (Wienerbrød). The course will have a break with coffee/tea where you can try some of your Danish pastries and exchange your cultural/baking experiences. You can bring the rest of them home to share with your family. You work in stations of 2 so if you book this alone, please be aware that you will be paired with another baking enthusiast. But this is also a great chance to meet new people. Recipes: Very detailed recipes will be sent to your email after the class, so it is important that you leave your email-address. This also means that you can concentrate on the baking part and take great pictures of your lovely pastries. Children: From 11 years old are welcome in the class if with a paying adult. From the age of 13 years, a child can participate alone - but please contact me before booking so that I can confirm. I only accept paying participants in the kitchen. We present you Tales of Reval - a new way to experience Tallinn. We will start the walk from Holiday Inn hotel, close to central station. During two hours, we will walk through the most majestic and off-the-beat scenic and photographic spots in Helsinki. We will also visit famous touristy spots, but with a twist as we will see and capture them from some unusual yet extremely photogenic angles. These are the spots that I have discovered through four years of extensively exploring Helsinki with my camera. Along the way I will share some interesting, fun and curious facts about Helsinki and its rich history and click some memorable portraits and photos at unforgettable locations, which I will send you after the tour. I will present the traditional Swedish baking and give you the chance to make for exemple Cinnamon buns and Cardamom buns. This is a hands-on-experience where you do the baking and of course I will instruct you step by step. Seasonal variations will be offered, for example, we Can bake ginger bread and Saffron buns closer to Christmas and during the year there are some other variations. Cinnamon and Cardamon buns are the base. I will introduce you into the whole process of making supergood buns and to conclude we take a coffee or Thea and eat some of what we have made. You will learn to shade, give perspective, sketch, and highlight. We will take the city ferry and go up to a point by water then to the little mermaid by foot or scooter, practice, and then come back to Nyhavn ( the multicolored port) to drink a cocoa, a beer or even eat something if time permits. You will stock on pictures to practice your watercolors. (book two slots for this tour, total 3 hours). If you are more interested in learning than doing tourism, then we use all the time we have and the material I have, for a private, crash course in basics. You will come out of this workshop with a new understanding and having learned the key to spectacular drawing. Yes, there is a trick. I decided to do this tour, and offer the opportunity to travelers to hear stories about the mermaid ( she was beheaded 3 times, for example), but also the Danish life from an Expat's point of view, the good and bad. A genuine, honest outlook (and why we stayed) from the outside in and inside out. This tour combines landmark talks, learning a skill, creating a memory but also the memorabilia for you to frame, your own creation. Together, we will train: how to keep a steady rhythm, how to act or not, and where to emphasize depending on the script. How to not eat the endings or avoid pop sounds. How to really listen to your voice and adapt to the needs of the body. Do we need more air, or are we crushing our diaphragm? Do we portray a lack of confidence, or are we too loud and sound snappy? The voice cracks under emotion, and is one of the most important behavioral tools we have; it is the fingerprint of our soul. We will then possibly record under my coaching. I will show you some tech tips, how to de-breath and edit a file. The recordings of those who are not aiming at podcasts will be a patchwork of travelers sharing a story, creating a unique audiobook. You will learn correct posture, breathing, self-consciousness without guilt or shame, and self-awareness of your voice's message to you regarding your state. You will learn voice projection and support for public occasions. You will acquire a technical skill that is valuable in our digital age. Not to mention that this will be a memorable experience in Copenhagen like no other. ( In winter we go to selected thrift shops and vintage shops) There are so many flea-markets in Copenhagen filled up with incredible, stylish, Nordic items and clothes, that can provide the best souvenirs. Scarfs, warm clothes, memorabilia, antiques, the danish flea markets have everything. Danish culture is very pro spring cleaning and the Danes move around and sell their personal belongings a lot during the summer. It is in their culture and it is one of the most pleasurable activities around. If there are no markets that day we can go to luxurious shops for used designer clothes, at a better price. There are many thrift and used shops in the city and only a few with lux items. So bare in mind this can be a flexible event. We will meet closer to the flea market in question on the day, or a metro station depending on where you stay and where we will go. I will show you on the way places to go and eat and drink and give you some backstory about the city, the culture. Other things to note The event is a flexible one. It includes a destination, an optional stop for food and drink and everything to discover in between. My dog may be part of the tour.

We will walk and shoot in and around the beautiful area of Gamla Stan and Riddarholmen/Stadshuset (depending on the time and lighting). A great combination of a kayaking tour and relax in sauna. Truly unique and unforgettable scandinavian adventure! Experience outstanding nature in the heart of Stockholm Archipelago. We meet in kayak center in Resarö (close to Vaxholm). First we will help you to adjust your kayak. Then after short safety briefing we jump into kayaks and paddle into the wild of archipelago. After kayaking that it's time for retreat! We will enjoy typical Swedish 'fika' with coffee and snacks followed by sauna relax session to warm our bodies and refresh in Baltic sea. Trip is beginners friendly although normal physical condition is required. We are happy to share some basic kayaking knowledge! More advanced paddlers are welcome as well! We will offer instruction on how to develop your paddling skills. We use mainly double sea kayaks (single kayaks are available for experienced paddlers). Doubles are incredibly stable and are great for those who are nervous or if you just want to share the paddling. The tour is available all year around. You need big cotton towel and optionally flop flops.

Join our unforgettable winter kayaking at the heart of Stockholm Archipelago. Escape the big city and enjoy wonderful seaside landscapes, only 40 minutes by bus from Stockholm. Kayak is the best way to discover unique landscape and explore some of the 30,000 islands. We will meet you in our kayak center on Resarö (it's easy to get here by subway + bus 670 and it will take you about 40 minutes from Stockholm). We will start with short safety briefing and caring kayaks for warming up. After changing clothes for drysuits we are ready to paddle into the wild of archipelago. We leave kayak center behind us and glide along the Resarö coastline towards Vaxholm or Bogesund Nature Reserve, depending on wind direction. Area around Vaxholm is among the most beautiful places to paddle. Admire amazing swedish nature and local architecture along the way and listen to local stories. Together we will enjoy the fresh, clear air and the view over archipelago that goes in pale tones. Soak up the scenic winter views and feel immersed in the tranquility, despite being just half an hour from Stockholm. During or after the trip we will enjoy swedish fika with warm drinks and something sweet to follow. I’ll pick you up at Hornstull Centrum next to metro station “Hornstull”. We’ll go visit the beautiful church “Högalidskyrkan”. And we’ll go home to me where the Christmas concert will be held. I’ll invite you traditional Swedish Christmas warm wine “Glögg” and Christmas pastry ”Lussekatt”. Now while enjoying these traditional sweets, I’ll perform a special Christmas program on my Steinway grand piano for you. After the concert, I’ll follow you back to the metro station.

You will get a chance to experience Tallinn from the view of a local citizen. You will visit many interesting and picturesque places and I will capture a moment with my camera. We meet up in the famous venue called "Linnahall", where Christopher Nolan shot his upcoming film, and from which you will have an amazing view on the town. Then we will take a walk in the Old Town, visiting narrow streets. From this, we will walk to the modern quarter called "Rotermanni" to experience technological buildings and offices. After, we will go to the old town, where we will take photos in colorful cobbled alleys, a beautiful hidden square, and we end up at the famous square Stortorget. This route features stunning architecture,, and I will be photographing you in the most flattering light available. Feel free to bring a change of clothing if you want. Come with me to an abandoned copper mine and enjoy a Swedish fika by the fire afterwards. We might see bats and toads inside the mine and will make sure you leave with great photos and memories of this special place. We meet at my home to supply you with rubber boots and flashlights. From there we drive to the mine for a personal tour. We go through the old mine shaft and into the beautiful open space at the end. After we have enjoyed this special feeling of being inside the mountain we go back outside for a toasted cinnamon bun over the fire. I take care of everything and all you need is an adventurous spirit and some warm clothes since it’s always chilly in the mine.
