Lovely, peaceful, quiet space with lots of grounds to explore and animals to pet (especially the dog Rodeo ❤️) Waking up to the rooster's crow was a special experience for us city kids. 😊 My kids thought it'd be weird sharing someone's house while they were hone, but our living quarters were separate enough from her personal space that they felt very comfortable. I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything I needed. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, and they went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Beautiful and so peaceful! Our family of 9 loved waking up early in the morning to listen to the beautiful birdsong and watch the fog roll off the pond. Our kiddo crew loved catching and releasing frogs and watching the wildlife. The home was pristine and immaculately kept. A cool feature was having the walking trails on-site! A sweet addition from the owners Aaron and Linda was having wood delivered, for evenings spent around the fire.

We loved The Forest Retreat. Great place in nature, in the middle of the forest with paths to hike, and creek/river access there on the property. No internet and limited phone access gave us a wonderful opportunity to unplug, unwind, reconnect, and recharge. We had an incredibly peaceful experience there. Bess is lovely, and provides excellent instructions and suggestions with a humorous flair. She is there to help when needed. We literally got home from our trip to the forest retreat, and rebooked for next year at the same time…hoping to make it an annual Happy Anniversary trip to us! Thanks Bess for offering this wonderful space in nature during a time in the world where so much seems crazy and chaotic! We highly recommend this spot to those who love nature, and quiet, and time reconnecting with yourself and others.

Loved my stay. Absolutely tranquil. Absolutely minimal traffic noise, mostly birds, wind, and the babbling creek. Next time, I’ll bring a long rope to deploy and retrieve my cooler and chairs from the cliff, then the walk to the creek will be easier. Also, I took my Tahoe, I don’t think my sedan would have liked the road in.

Mrs.Tina’s place was so peaceful. Perfect little getaway for us. It was pet friendly and our elderly pup had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed the creek and surrounding area. The kids also enjoyed it there, they found so many cool rocks and “gold.” It was very quiet and serene. Coffee on the front porch and swinging under a covered area by the creek during a rain storm were the highlights for me. The cabin is cozy and was as listed. Mrs. Tina is so very helpful and kind. She went above and beyond from booking to check out. Her directions were perfect and we would definitely stay again.

Just had the most peaceful 3 days of my life at Basecamp Fosters Creek. Zach's place exceeded my expectations. Every little detail was thought of in putting this place together. The place was pristine and the ambience was enchanting. I cannot wait to return for the beautiful creek, only steps away, when the weather warms a little more. 10 out of 10! I will definitely return frequently!

Had a great weekend at Michael’s place! Group with kids and dogs. The place was gigantic with an amazing indoor and outdoor space. Each room had its own little room for the kids and own bathroom. The outdoors amenities were amazing. Kids enjoyed the jacuzzi and making s’mores in the outdoor fireplace. Michael’s communications were great and super responsive. Really peaceful weekend and location. House was clean and quiet. Thanks for hosting us!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Virginia is an excellent host she was available for what ever we need 24 hrs a day. She greeted us when we arrived at the home, that personal touch speaks volumes. We can’t wait for summer to return for those amazing views
