The neighborhood is wonderfully convenient for the out of town traveller (i.e., close to Metro), it is safe and quiet, and beautiful (for e.g., the property borders a lush park). Gretchen is a superb hostess, she is very helpful, and is very responsive. The room is perfect for the traveller's needs: it is kept immaculately clean and had all that I needed for my stay. Being so economical in price, This venue is one of the true bargains in Washington. Therefore, I strongly recommend Gretchen's wonderful B&B and give her 5 out of 4 stars for B&B quality. ”
