Cozy Florence apartment w/WIFI

This apartment is beautiful! Quiet, peaceful, clean, charming. We were so happy that we chose to stay in Settignano - easy to reach Florence but not as hectic. Luca was very helpful before and during our stay, always responding to emails and providing lots of information. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to meet him but he made sure we had everything we needed. We did not have time to walk to Fiesole (had to save something for next time!) but we had the most exquisitely delicious meal of our trip at La Sosta del Rossellino right next door to the apartment. Thank you Luca for recommending it!

It was a wonderful experience staying at the apt! Firstly, Luca was very quick to respond to our queries. Once we reached the place, we were pleasantly surprised by the calm and serene neighborhood. We met Luca's mom who was very friendly and helpful with her suggestions (she suggested that we walk to Fiesole and that was the highlight of our trip !). The apt is well furnished and has almost all the necessary amenities. It has few good restaurants close by and so food is never a problem. Overall, it was an awesome experience and we would love to come back soon :) We were there for 3 days in Sep 2011.

We stayed at Settignano on the outskirts of Florence while visiting Florence. This little picturesque village was a nice refuge from the busy city centre and easily accessible by bus. It's set on a nearby hill within walking distance to nearby Fiesole, another lovely village with spectacular views of Florence.

This is a great place to stay when you want to visit Firenze. There's a bus from Settignano to Firenze every 20min and it's a lot easier then going to there by car. The village is so quiet and non-touristic, a nice place to come home to after a busy day in Florence. We stayed 4 nights in the apartment and we really enjoyed it. Luca's mom welcomed us since he was out of town but we were glad we met him on our last day: he gave us lots of tips for the rest of our trip in Italy. The apartment was large and really clean, and they were so kind to put a baby cot in the room for our baby boy. In short: nice village, nice hosts, nice apartment. The place to be when visiting Florence!!

This was our first apartment through Air BnB and Luca made it a great experience. He promptly answered my emails, gave me directions on catching the bus from central Florence, and had someone meet us who gave us information on the apartment, local restaurants, and grocery shopping (they even offered to drive us down to the store). This cute apartment was perfect after several small hotel rooms. We had plenty of room to spread out, it was clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was a little quirky, but everything else was great. We also enjoyed the location. Far enough away to enjoy peace and quite after a long day, but close enough to take a break in the middle of the day. The bus runs every 20 minutes and you're back downtown in 20 minutes. Perfetto! We also took the walk to Fiesole. Highly recommended!

Lucca is a geat person a has a beatiful family. Everything was wonderful, the apartment the place and the people.It was a very placeful experience , because I knew a new friend and expect to share with him and his family another time. I suggest him little things that are not really relievant but can help to complete the dotation of the house. Settignano is a beatiful place, very quiet and very easy to reach from Florenece. There is bus service from and to Florenece. Very nice holydays at Lucca's house.

Lovely apt, very accommodating host. The village is cute and small with a nice cafe and beautiful views. Note that the apt is not heated as it is a summer rental, but we found it to be quite comfortable with extra blankets provided by the housekeeper.

The lovely barn house in Strada-in-Chianti was our home for a 4-night stay in Tuscany. It is set atop one of the countryside's hills, the living room picture window frames vintage Toscana: a rolling landscape of cypress trees, vineyards, olive groves, punctuated by the occasional tile-roofed stone house. Tile, bricks and stone are our own house's theme. From the patio roof to the vaulted ceiling to the arched doorways, down to the floor--we have nothing to fear from the big, bad wolf. The appointments of the house are 100 percent modern. The kitchen has a subzero fridge. a dishwasher, a five-burner gas stove and an oven. The owners were kind enough to supply us with some basics--cartons of pasta, a bottle of tomato sauce, salt, garlic, olive oil aplenty, even beer, wine, juice, and water. We have a washing machine, detergent, an ironing board and iron. The beds are comfortable and warm, topped with crisp white sheets, delicate floral quilts, and oversized, overstuffed pillows. Quite simply, it is a gorgeous (albeit somewhat remote) place to stay. From Chianti, we made day-trips to Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano. The car-rides to the latter towns afforded us the best way to experience the classic Tuscan landscape. This barn house is, no question, strongly recommended.

the villa is comfortable , completely redecorate, extremely clean. the rooms are spacious , furniture is a perfect mixed new and antique!! amazing view from the garden , been on top of a hill and have a look of all the chianti hills around don't have price!! thanks for the experience!! don't hesitate to book guys!!!

My family and I had a great time staying in Ponte Agli Stolli at Luca's place. It was fabulous and a nice central part of Chianti, easy to access Firenze etc. The home is very beautiful and definately charming. I highly recommend it!

The place is indeed "cozy," but it worked just fine. The place is a half hour outside of the center of Florence, but the bus that takes you in town stops right next to the place where the David is housed. It is only a few blocks to the Duomo from there. Luca's mother,Laura,a great help. There are two very good enotecas nearby.

location simple, charmante et vraiment bien située dans une belle campagne. Le bus pour Florence est juste devant la porte et la voie rapide pour aller à Sienne ou san geminiano est toute proche. Parfais pour rayonner dans tout le chianti.

Luca fue muy amable y muy atento. A pesar de que no lo9 vimos personalmente se comunico con nosotras y nos ayudo con todo. La habitacion es muy pequeña, a penas una cama y un baño. Lo unico fue que el wifi no funcionaba cuando fuimos y no lo sabiamos, pero lo demas todo perfecto

Wonderful house in greve in chianti. Perfect location, short distance from Siena, Firenze, and many small quaint villages and wine tasting routes. The house was equipped with all the necessary amenities, wonderful fireplace with ample wood and barbecue outside. Hot water, spacious, wonderful kitchen and beautiful views. The owners Giancarlo and Luca and Laura were fantastic - giving us tips to tour in the area and making sure we were comfortable and happy. I HIGHLY recomend this house to families that are looking for a home away from home in tuscany.

Luca is a great host, we didn't have the chance to meet him personally but we was very communicative, and responded generously to all of our questions. Settignago is a magical place, amazing scenery and some really unforgettable walks, I was very happy we made it a stop on our trip. When we were there (right after New Years) the local restaurants were closed but Florence is only a 20min bus ride so no one went hungry ;) The room is just like in the pictures, definitely cozy but impeccably clean and well maintained.

We had a wonderful five days at this house. We are a family with 3 teenagers, and wanted to have a base to visit different small towns in Tuscany + Florence and it turned out great to use this house as our base. The hosts, Giancarla and her husband, were super friendly, even opened up a bottle of Chianti wine to share with us on our arrival! The house is beautiful and has been recently renovated, it is spacious and has all appliances you may need, all of them brand new. As it was winter, we used the heating system that worked fine (a little on the cold side the first days because the system had to be fixed and it started working well the day we arrived). We also used the fireplace everyday, it was nice and cosy to sit in front of it every evening after a long day of fulfilling our tourist obligations. The sorrounding landscape of Chiante vineyards is gorgeous. The house is only 20' from Florence, but you DO NEED a car to get to the house, and to find the way is a little tricky, but our GPS took us there just fine. The last 300 yards to the house is a dirt road, somewhat tough on some parts, but hey, it is a farmhouse afterall (we even saw a few wild deer...). We imagine that if we like it so much in winter, it must be just fabulous all the other seasons.

Luca is a very smart person and a great traveller. He lived many years abroad, interacting with different cultures. Because of his travelling experience and his convivial character I think he really nows how to enjoy a pleasent stay.

Luca is one of the most curious travellers I have ever met. He is always looking for attractions off the beaten track and tries his best to get to know as much as possible about the culture and the people when going somewhere new. It’s always a pleasure to travel with him.

Luca can be considered a great traveler, he lived abroad for many years and this has had to deal with different living situations. With his past experience he knows what are the requirements necessary to spend a pleasant and relaxing stay in an environment as comfortable and familiar.
