Gorgeous studio - Heart of Paris

not much to say, that hasn't been said before. excellent location, very friendly and helpfull host. what might be of interest is, that the bed is really comfy and that there's really hot water coming from the tap - no rinsing, decent stream! the appartment is small, though. and don't expect a view, when you look out of the windows. but you usually don't spend a lot of daytime at your place, when you're in Paris, right?!

Ottima soluzione per trascorrere qualche giorno a Parigi, monolocale carino splendido quartiere a due passi da tutto. Unica nota negativa, sebbene siamo andati a fine Aprile, le temperature erano piuttosto fredde e il locale non era abbastanza riscaldato. Maria e co. sono stati particolarmente cordiali e disponibili per ogni nostra esigenza. Assolutamente consigliato!

el departamento muy ubicado, en una zona de mucho movimiento con muchas opciones de restaurante, muy cerca del metro y de todas las atracciones tener en cuenta que si van dos personas deberán banñarse en momentos distintos d que el termita que no es suficiente para dos duchad seguidas, no hay horno ni microondas. la comunicación y recepción fue muy buena.

Das Studio ist verkehrstechnisch sehr gut gelegen: in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer Metro-Station, bei der mehrere Linien zusammenlaufen.Ausserdem in Laufdistanz zum Louvre und anschliessenden Attraktionen. Es liegt im charmanten Marais-Viertel, gleich neben der Fussgängerzone (in einer Nebengasse, ca. 30m entfernt). Das Studio ist für meine Begriffe recht bescheiden in Bezug auf Grösse (25m2) und Einrichtung. Es ist 1 offener Raum (Wohn-/Schlafzimmer und Küche (sehr klein) mit anschliessendem kleinem Bad. Das Ganze war sauber. Leider war die Putzfrau nicht da, die uns hätte die Tür öffnen sollen abends um 21h, wie mit der Vermieter schriftlich abgemacht.... Sie erschien schliesslich 1 Std. 15 Min. später und meinte einfach, es sei ein Missverständnis gewesen...Am Sonntag Morgen klingelte die Putzfrau ausserdem ungeniert um 9.15h an unserer Zimmertür - sie wollte das Bügeleisen haben. Und das nach einem Samsgtag-Abend-Ausgang in Paris!! Auch bei unserer Abreise klappte es nicht wie abgemacht. Die Putzfrau hatte uns zugesichert, unser Gepäck bis zu unserer Abreise am Nachmittag, ruhig im Zimmer stehen zu lassen, es käme kein neuer Mieter. Als wir unsere Sachen dann abholen wollten, war leider nichts mehr da und ein anderer Mieter hatte das Zimmer bereits bezogen. Nach ca. 40 Min. Aufregung, kam sie dann und führte uns zu unserem Gepäck, das sie in der Zwischenzeit in einer anderen Wohnung zwischengelagert hatte. Gott sei Dank schafften wir es doch noch auf unseren Flug.

We had great four days in this apartment, which is - in itself - not really spectacular. But the location and surrounding truly is! The apartment was clean but small and would benefit from a few cosmetic repair jobs. Bed and shower were good and considering the whole package (apartment, price, location, travel directions, communication etc.) I would surely recommend it.

The studio is the perfect amount of space for two people and is extremely convenient. We used the Etienne Marcel metro stop to commute all over Paris. The cafes and restaurants on Marie Stuart are all great too - we had a delicious dinner (filet and escargot) at Bouie Bouie right across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

It's a small flat, but very convenient to the Louvre and the center of Paris. Convenient to the metro. Clean and comfortable. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

David & Maria's apartment was quaint & charming, and in an ideal location. We loved staying here. Additionally, the neighbors were very kind and friendly, and David & Maria were very accommodating and responsive. Staying here contributed greatly to our wonderful experience in Paris!

It was a pleasure to stay at David and Maria's studio. It was the perfect location. Walking distance to many cool spots including the Louvre. The area has many cute outdoor shops and a few supermarkets. Check out a great restaurant just on the corner called 'Bianco'. The apartment was a perfect size for two. Very clean and comfortable bed. Checking in and out was very easy. I would recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to experience Paris as a local. I would definitely stay again at David and Maria's studio! Thank you!

Great stay! The apartment is in a great location and very central to most of the sites. It was clean and tidy and while it's not a huge studio it is well laid out to give you the feel of separate rooms. It was a decent price and the hosts were very accommodating!

David and Maria's apartment was the perfect first stop on our two week trip from Paris to Rome. The location couldn't have been better (easy walking to almost anything we wanted to see/do/eat), and the apartment was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Great spot.

There are many good things to say about this small apartment. The location is superb. An easy walk to anywhere in central Paris. Easy access to the metro. Good bed, good heating, good sound-proofing windows (the street below can be noisy at night). The flat is in the first floor, and easy to access without a lift. Maria, our host, was very helpful and responsive to any questions. There is also a good internet connection. There are also some drawbacks. The flat is indeed small and not much room to unpack anything or anywhere to put it. There was a very unpleasant smell in both the kitchen and bathroom sinks coming from the drains. But Paris is at your doorstep and you may not end up spending much time indoors....

Everybody looks for something to meet their style and rewquiremnts. We found this in David and Maria's place. The location couldn"t have been better for us -- right in the middle of a pedestrian plaza. All lines of shopping from the weird to the lavish. Cafe's and bars all over. We walked to the Lourve in about 15 minutes. We felt like it was our place as it had everything we needed (especially the coffee pot)! More than adequate space and a great view of the street. We filled the refrigerator and cooked in the kitchen -- my specialty was breakfast. Recommend this place and would love to stay again!

The apartment wad central to Paris sites,t he Metro , shopping and restaurants, Despite the poor weather we had.we were able to see all most of the venues and staying in the apartment allowed us to take afternoon breaks to have a glass of wine and warm up.

A central location, a great shower, a comfortable bed and only one flight of stairs to climb. David and Maria's flat is a great place to stay. This was our first stay in an airbnb booked flat and it worked out really well. The communications and the directions I received were faultless. I have no hesitation in recommending it for your next visit to Paris.

Excellent communication before our arival. Great little apartment in a very central location easy walking distance to all atractions. Many restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our stay here hope we can come back sometime soon.

David and Maria were very responsive prior to our visit. The toilet broke shortly after we arrived, however Maria was quick to schedule a plumber to fix the problem. The apartment was clean and in a very convenient location, both to the museums and metro stops. The neighborhood was a little loud at nighttime, but overall the stay was a good one.

aside from a small hiccup of having to wait an extra two minutes for the housecleaning lady to arrive at the door and verify that we were the right ones to give the keys to, the flat was absolutely marvelous and I would stay there again. Location, ease of use, only one floor to have to move luggage up and down, and great modern IKEA furniture, the flat was a delight to be in.

David is a very good friend since years, I have been living with him for 2 years, he is very organized, easy to live with, friendly, open-minded, always happy to help and to meet people. He is someone you can trust in, as a guest or as a host. His flat in Montorgueil in the center of Paris is a great place to stay at, do not hesitate!
