PEDRO'S PLACE

I had a great time at Pedro's and I love his dog!!!!!! I recommend and would definitely stay here again! :-)

First of all, my daughter and I were arriving from different states separately quite late at night (11:30pm). Pedro said this was totally not a problem. Then, my flight ended up having mechanical difficulties and didn't depart until about 2 1/2 hrs later. I arrived at Pedro's at about 2:30am. Pedro was the ultimate host. He offered us whatever he cooked and made us feel totally at home. He was totally discreet to our personal privacy and was so very nice. He left us a tray on our bed with towels and these scrumptious coconut wafer tidbits. Yum!!! He made us these really nice breakfasts with this fantastic coffee that I'm still thinking about. At first sight of his little dog and his barking (at my entrance at 2:30am) I wasn't too sure about him. Plus, I am generally allergic to pets. But, of course, I fell in love with little Frijol (Frijolito, as I called him). It wasn't long before Frijolito was just hanging out with me with his head in my lap. So adorable!!! Bottom line, Pedro made his home our home and made us totally comfortable and treated us like family. It was my very first airbnb experience and a totally great one. I definitely would stay there again and would highly recommend it. It's very close to the airport and quite a few other attractions. Restaurants galore in the area. And, if you need to practice your Spanish, this is the place.

I stayed at Pedro's place for 3 nights, and felt right at home from the second I walked into the door. Pedro is a very nice, welcoming and attentive host! The house is very spacious and clean. My room was big, with a very comfy bed, a huge TV, and plenty of space to store all my things and hang up my clothes. The bathroom is always very clean and comes with a big and powerful shower. You can choose your breakfast, and Pedro's coffee is simply amazing! The house is situated in a quiet, residential area, but very close to all amenities you will need, and only a short drive away from the international airport, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Miami Beach etc. And, the best of all, is Frijol, Pedro's little dog, who guards the house and welcomes you with enthusiasm and joy after a long day out. I can highly recommend to stay at Pedro's place.

Pedro is a wonderful host with a cute little dog and a nicely furnished home. Lovely bedroom with a big flat flat screen TV, a very comfortable bed and Wifi!

Pedro was a charming man who looked after me very well. I had the unfortunate experience of an emergency at home and had to leave in a hurry and he even run me to the airport. I met some of his friends and had a delightful visit with them

Wir waren für 3 Nächte bei Pedro in seinem wirklich schönen Haus, und wir können uns nur anschließen, er ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Mensch (tolle Tips zum Essen gehen) mit einer Leidenschaft fürs stundenlange Karaokesingen ;-). Wir hatten leider nur irgendwie Pech mit dem angebotenem Frühstück - das gab es am 1. Morgen wesentlich später als besprochen (Pedro kam nämlich erst morgens vom Feiern wieder) und auch nur sehr spärlich aus selbigem Grund - und am 2. und 3. Morgen fand es dann gar nicht statt, da Pedro überhaupt nicht aus seinem Zimmer kam. Wir haben uns dann selbst geholfen, was ja auch kein Thema ist, nur eben doof, wenn man sich seine Unterkunft nach solch angepriesenen Aspekten aussucht und bezahlt, diese dann aber nicht vorfindet. Ansonsten waren wir dankbar für den letzten Unterschlupf bevor wir wieder zurück nach Hause mußten und wünschen Pedro noch viele nette Gäste!

We stayed a couple of days in Pedro’s house. Pedro is very friendly, hospitable and professional. Every day he came home late and had a friendly chat, in the morning he made breakfast and he made our bed every day. The house was neat and clean. It looked exactly as the pictures. We would recommend anyone to stay at Pedro’s place. It is an ideal location to visit the city, Miami Beach, the Everglades and Keys.

Pedro is a great host and I can just recommend him to everyone. He is easy to get around with, very nice and takes care that you feel yourself at home. His house is decorated very tasteful and it was as exactly as described on the pictures. His dog is a really cutie too and loves to get petted. :)) Pedro offered me a nice breakfast in the morning, so I had a great start into the day. Whenever I go back to Miami I would love to stay with Pedro again. :D

We were 4 girls staying a week at Pedro's during our sailing training camp. Pedro is the nicest guy and we really felt at home in his house. For us the location was great and everything we needed for our stay was there. We would like to recommend this accomodation to everyone, except maybe people who don't like dogs :-) Not that little Frijol was any trouble whatsoever, but he is a dog and he lives in the house just as much as Pedro does. Thanks for a good stay Pedro!

Pedro was such a wonderful host. With the weather not cooperating up here in Canada I had to rearrange my stay at the last minute, and though he was under no obligation to assist me, because his room was available, I was welcomed into his home. The house is just as nice as the photos show and it is so spacious. Everything was immaculately clean and to my surprise Pedro cooked me a delicious breakfast when I woke up. He has a little tiny dog that I fell in love with and had I not been taking a cruise, I am sure I would have tried to put him in my carry on (grin). The area is residential but just a five minute walk and one is able to gain access to stores, restaurants and the Metro train. This train is able to take one all over downtown Miami and has several connections to the free people mover and this has connections to various bus stops that can take people all over Miami and to South Beach. Any time I go to Miami in the future the first place I will check for accommodations will be Pedro.

We stayed 2 nights at pedro place. It was very nice. We stayed in the "Red" room and the bed was extremely comfortable. The house is very clean and the breakfast made by Pedro was top. Coffee very good as well, not the usual thin filter coffee. The neighbourhood is very calm & nice, it's a few blocks to little Havana and close to Coral Gables. Miami Beach is just a 15 min drive. It's a very good place to stay if you want to visit Miami and not only Miami beach. Pedro is a very nice guy that really tries to make your stay good and he also gave us a few tips for parking and restaurants at Miami beach. Very appreciated! There's really not anything negative to say, a part that one night Pedro got home late at the little cute dog woke us up in the middle of the night barking/crying! But otherwise we would warmly recommend Pedro's place. Enjoy!

Pedro's Place is really great. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, it has all the amenities you need plus Pedro is a wonderful host always willing to offer help in any way he can - supplying breakfast etc and anything else you need for your stay. I had no car but found it easy enough to walk to the nearest bus stops only 5-10 mins away to get anywhere I needed. I would definitely stay here again if I wanted a quiet stay in Miami close enough to everything but away from busy areas like South Beach.

Pedro fue muy amable desde un principio. Me fue a buscar con su automovil hasta el hotel donde yo me encontraba, para llevarme al apartamento. Nos explico todo y luego se fue. El apartamento es INCREIBLE, mucho mejor que en las fotos, lo recomiendo. Tiene una vista excelente en el balcon, y todos sus ambientes son muy modernos. Sin dudas regresaré.

Thank you for opening your condo to us. You were very gracious in sharing information regarding the facility, surrounding area and the Miami experience. We enjoyed your condo so very much. It is very tastefully decorated, as well as very clean. The bathrooms are beautiful. The complex is very quiet and clean. We look forward to renting from you again in the future. Looking out onto the ocean and the boardwalk each morning was beautiful and so relaxing. . .

Pedro was a great host. He was friendly and prompt to respond to e-mails regarding questions and concerns. His condo on Collins was big, clean, and quite comfrtable, overlooking the beach. Although it was a bit away from Ocean Drive, it was a quick and cheap cab ride, and perfectlly quiet, for a good night's sleep after the parties.

The place was great, and Pedro was friendly, helpful, responsive and a genuine pleasure to deal with.

Pedro was a fantastic host! The condo was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Pedro ensured that our stay was good and is a very personable and hospitable person. Would definitely book with him again!

Stayed here for a Miami Beach "staycation". Pedro was a helpful & informative host. The place was clean and as advertised. The condo residents are skewed to the older side, so it's a quiet and relaxing place...not party central.
